Stop, browse, buy!

Always an experience. I never tire of browsing the shelves. I always make a purchase. Small bookstores are the best. May this one never change!

A must, if you still read physical books - of quality, in diverse and atypical subjects. One shelf is devoted to "banned books" (like Wizard of Oz). Also, there is an event (free) almost every night, involving an author typically. Look at their website for the latest details.

One of my favorites in Asheville. Nice selection of books and local authors featured. A visit here makes for a lovely afternoon of reading.

We went twice in the 4 days we were in Asheville. My husband had wine and I had chia tea. Very hip and busy place. Didn't really see anyone buying books, but everyone was drinking and having snacks. Such a nice atmosphere. Cozy and warm with great lighting and oriental rugs everywhere. You will love this place.....like everyone else that... More

Another independent bookstore, which is great. The store became fairly crowded and the way the store is laid out, it also became a little claustrophobic. There is a coffee bar and there was only one person working when we were there, so the line for coffee backed up quickly.

Had chai-latte there, reasonably priced and really tasty. The cookie was nothing special but tasty enough. The book store was really cool with local artsy stuff and wide variety of books. The Wi-Fi was stable and connected properly. All in all, a nice place to visit and have a cup of coffee.

This indie bookstore has a wide selection of books, unique atmosphere and great customer service. The books are organized by topic with additional selections such as staff favorites, banned books, local authors, autographed copies etc.. The staff is all knowledgeable and friendly. Besides books, there are stationary items, postcards, stickers, magnets and lots of interesting gift items. I also love... More
