We were excited about trying this brewery/restaurant as we had not been to a sake brewery before but love Asian food, and we are beer brewers. We ordered the 4 portion sake sampler to try the different types. We thought $16 for this was bit much, but the sake's were all different and interesting. The food was good and tasty,... More

My 10 year old daughter & I LOVE Blue Kudzu! So much so that she chose to celebrate her birthday there this year, and it was AWESOME! The staff were incredibly helpful and patient with the party of semi- rowdy kids and there families that joined us for dinner and cake. We ordered from the menu and everything was served... More

I love, love, LOVE this place!! I have not had one thing that wasn't delicious, from the small plates options to the entrees and sandwiches, all of the food is super yummy. My very favorites include the Korean Lettuce Wraps done "vegetarian style" (sub tofu), Teriyaki Beef small plate, and the house made Fire Starter Pickles (on EVERYTHING!!). I love... More

This is, essentially, a brewpub, the difference being they brew their own sake, not beer. Like most brewpubs, the food is good and the staff is friendly and knowledgable, but the drinks are the true stars of the show. The home-made sake they pour at Blue Kudzu was a revelation to me. Before this, I'd only had that nasty-tasting warmed... More

Thank you so much for such a sweet review!! I'm so glad you had a great time with us and that we didn't break the bank (so to speak). The ramen has been a point of reference in a few reviews here so, I will certainly be taking it up with the staff to ensure that it is served with... More

First off, I love the staff. I've only been here a few times, but the staff seems awesome, especially Michael and Kat. My problems are in the food. I could be wrong, but it seems like the food gets more expensive every time I go there, though it's good, I'd like an explanation if I'm right. The beer prices seem... More

Well, I must admit, I love when people name me specifically as being a valuable asset to my team ;-), and Mikel too! That being said, I also appreciate when people leave reviews that incorporate specific instances of good and bad instead of blanket praise or blanket criticism. Our menu has been in a state of flux, both in items... More

Some hits and misses on this visit. Ordered the Sake sampler, that included 3 of the house made sakes. Also ordered gyoza, spring rolls and ramen bowl. They were out of gyoza, so couldn't try them, which was disappointing because I find dumplings can be a good barometer. The spring rolls were quite tasty, if slightly messy to eat. The... More

I'm sorry that your first visit with us left a little to be desired. However, I am impressed that your review is honest and includes both positive and negative criticism. As entrepreneurs in such a subjective business, we must be able to not only listen but to HEAR what the public is expressing and take action to remedy the wrongs... More

The first time I went they were not yet ready to serve their locally brewed Sake so I ordered a Flight of traditional Sakes and a Reuben with Kimchee. What a delightful experience. The Sakes were at proper temperature and all excellent. The Reuben was delicious and the Kimchee pushed it to an unexpected level of quality. The second time... More

A glass of bubbly and a bowl of Pho ("Fuh" for newbies); great music and an awesome staff...what more could you want? I can't wait to try the new sake, and I'm still working up to the karaoke on of these Sundays. Maybe the bottomless mimosas will help... The heart of this place is evident, and how cool are we,...
