I've been eating here over 4 years. The atmosphere is only weakness, as it's pretty sterile and is cold in winter......late spring thru early fall is best time to visit as their cobblestone alley courtyard table eating ROCKS! This is some of best food and dips I've ever had. I've also always had fairly good service. For once, I don't... More

Great food! The fajitas were fresh and tasty. However, the margaritas and food were a little pricey.

Everything here is very fresh and unique. I love the big volcano bowls, and they have some of the freshest tacos! One of my favorites when visiting Asheville

It's a small place that can be very loud but in a good location for those walking in downtown. The menu is diverse Med. and prepared very well which with the friendly service will have me coming again.

Wonderful find for fresh Caribbean food in Asheville, NC of all places. We moved to Asheville from Florida where there are good to great Caribbean centric restaurants on every corner...this is by far one of the best. Fresh flavor in every dish we have tried. The only draw back to the restaurant is the size. The space is small and... More

Wooden benches and lack of upscale atmosphere just seems so right when they deliver great spicy Caribbean food and cold beer at a reasonable price. We'll definitely return. Very casual and very good.

Stopped for brunch and so glad we did. Spicy bloodies and a huge selection of options. Very good service. A hip place that puts out exceptional, varied food!

and lively! And, if you sit near the door on a cold winter's night it is chilly (not chili). This is not a Mexican restaurant if that is what you are looking for. But, the food is excellent. We split the shrimp and chicken Molcajete. The waitress thought the origin of this dish was Puerto Rican. A Molcajete is a... More

This place is not big and had seen a line earlier but when we went right before the Happy Hour crowd settled in, we got right in. The food was AWESOME!!! Their rendition of guacamole done with celery instead of tomatoes was so fresh! And the steak quesadilla was to die for. Would go there everyday for that fresh yumminess!

This is actually not Mexican food. It is more South American food. Venezuelan, Chile, etc. The Empanadas were Awesome and so was the Guacamole, freshly made. We were there at 10:00 am when they opened. Line out the door. They were not really ready for us, we had to wait awhile for our food. Neither of the bathrooms were in... More
