We dined at Salsa for lunch on a Saturday - first ones in the door. The atmosphere is okay - the service was excellent and the food? Well, what I had was delicious! I opted for the Slow Roasted Pork Empanada which was served with beans and rice and lettuce, tomato and guacamole..... and a plantain (I love them). It... More

My wife and I had a late lunch here upon arrival to Asheville. It was quite a busy place but we were able to get a table without a wait. We both ordered empanadas- she had chicken and I had steak and shrimp, and we both were happy with our choices. The servings were quite large and we definitely left... More

We had a great dinner experience at Salsas! The menu has lots of choices (including daily specials) and the food is unique. I had the Ultimate lava bowl which was flavorful, delicious, and very filling (and spicy!)! The service was casual, friendly, and attentive (Cary was our server)! This is a must eat in the Asheville area!

Not a high end look by any means but the "Best Of" signs in the window and the people already seated enticed us in. The food was excellent. I split an "ultimate bowl" with a friend. Spicy and delicious. Wait staff was vey attentive-his name was Cary. Would definitely recommend.

the pulled pork quesidilla contained roasted tomatoes...YUM, and came w/ a side of rice, bean combo and guacamole. sooo good! the chicken burrito was stuffed ( no rice!) with flavor and was accompanied by a tasty salad. Both of our meals came to under $20. DO NOT MISS the homemade salsa, that contained orange juice and other unusual ingredients. If... More

Popped in for lunch whilst on holiday in Asheville. Menu is variation on usual Mexican fayre. When it comes - quite stunning stuff. The "pom pom pom" may just be the best thing I've ever eaten.

Asheville has so many wonderful local restaurants and after being here multiple times we obviously had missed this gem! A small place that gets busy quickly and has amazing selections that are fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. Staff are great. Highly recommend the chips and salsa sampler, and anything else on the menu. I had a daily special entree with... More

I really enjoyed my dish called Pom Pom Pom with roasted pork and a caipirinha. The restaurant was a bit under staffed but the food and service made up for it.

The food was amazing but the waitress was not ready to take our order! We were 4 of us, she took the order for two of us and then asked if anything else was required without asking us what we wanted to order. The restroom didn't have soap so I requested for soap. This was before i ate. About 45... More
