The answer is yes they can...in ways that are unique and can be somewhat overwhelming. The ceviche was a Mexican style with tomatoes, cilantro and tilapia. Very good and a meal in and of itself. We shared the ultimate molacajete which was plenty enough for two of us and we took some home. The flavors are quite strong but good.... More

Prepare to love every bite! Don't miss the fire roasted tomato and chipotle peanut salsa with chips; we scooped up every last morsel. For entrees, we ordered the open face slow roasted pork fajitas and the chicken tacos. Both were delicious! This is a smallish restaurant and the seating is a bit crowded, but the service was good, and we'd... More

Go to Salsa's for a hot lava rock bowl of steaming Molcajete (sp?). It is out of this world. While you wait for it to cool enough to not burn the teeth out of your head, enjoy one of their tasty mojitos or margaritas. MMMMM

This restaurant has an eclectic decor and a few surprises on the menu. Burritos ranged from mango with pork to vegan options. The portions are very large for the food. We ordered margaritas, which were decidedly not huge but they still cost $10 each. Entrees averaged $20 each. The service was excellent but the seating was close-quarters. I would go... More

A wide range of presentations on the menu to please everyone, vegetarians as well. Tight quarters for seating and lines can form to get in, but well worth the visit

We ate with some hungry kids and got unbelievably fast service. Tried the margaritas, the plantains, and some dishes we have never had. The veg combos were very impressive. A definite thumbs up.

We were looking for a local place to eat on our walking tour of Asheville and our cab driver recommended this place. We were there on a Friday night so the wait was a little long but wow was it worth it! First I would like to start with the server, Kerry, he was just fantastic. Knew the answer to... More

Small place packed with tables. You are elbow to elbow. The service is quick and friendly. Fresh flavors. You can taste the freshness. Good choices but the hit of the night is the shrimp lava bowl thing. Yum yum. Voted one of the best in Western North Carolina.

Wonderful food, attentive waitstaff, good drinks. Great value--would definitely go back! It's a small place so you might have to wait, but definitely worth it.
