Driving through from PA to SC along the Blue Ridge Parkway, we stopped in Asheville for the night and planned on eating dinner here. It was one of the best things i've ever eaten. I don't remember the name of what i ordered, but it was a volcano bowl with shrimp, salmon, and something else delicious. After driving for 14... More

This Patton Ave. spot, though small and always busy, is worth the wait. A good variety of Mexican and Caribbean based dishes always causes indecision at ordering time, as I usually find several tempting items. I've never been disappointed here....

Our large group of four adults and six kids dined here for lunch. We had to be split into two tables, which was totally understandable. The inside is quite small. Luckily, we are early and were seated right away. The menu is full of interesting choices. I ordered a pork pom pom pomegranate, which was served in a large stone... More

When we have visitors we always take them to Salsa's for the colorful, quaint atmosphere and superior cuisine. Have never been disappointed. I also refer other tourists to eat here since a visit to Asheville just wouldn't be perfect without the... More

Kind of a hole in the wall but so worth it! Fresh ingredients! And local. Plenty of food you could share.

My wife and I went to Asheville for our honeymoon. Salsas is our favorite restaurant. We have been there more than once and will be back. The molcajete is our go-to item but everything is delicious.

Things that may be helpful: 1) In Asheville city center and very near the main highways; 2) There are several public parking lots within a three minute walk for about $1 per hour; 3) there is an odd gap to know about in their opening times from 4:00-5:00; 4) price expectations: dinner for three without dessert and without alcohol was... Time your visit to beat the crowd as seating is limited.....don't let that hold you back from coming, though! Well worth it!!! Wonderful food, helpful & friendly staff, great beer selection. We'll be back!

Not very busy on a Thursday for lunch. Chips and salsa was excellent, as were nachos and PomPomPom dish. I did not like my fajita (shrimp and tilapia), but over all a good experience. The waiter showed us his "dish trick" and "pitcher trick" (hint: he is double-jointed).
