Yum! Fun spot.

One of the more unique restaurants in Asheville. Great menu items combining traditional Mexican recipes with wonderful Caribbean ingredients. Massive portions!

Menu options were more than just your typical Mexican restaurant - we both had lunch specials and were impressed with the portions and the tastiness. Nice first meal upon arriving in Asheville.

Great place to eat in Asheville! We tried to go in the evening and the wait was so long. Went the following day and there was no wait - the food was fantastic. Highly recommend.

I had the chicken tacos and my husband had the fish tacos! They both were delicious. They give you A LOT of food!

This is by far my favorite food spot in Asheville. The food is consistently good. The dishes are made with local fare if possible and they make Latin food flashy with ingredients such as goat cheese and kale. The salsas are great and the bowls are excellent and are ample enough for two to share. The restaurant is attractive despite... More

This tiny restaurant offers some of the most interesting food in Asheville. While the sign indicates Mexican, don't expect your typical Tex-Mex fare. The focus is Carribbean, and it is amazing. We have had the Pom-Poms several times, and first, they are enormous. If you aren't really hungry, I'd suggest sharing. Actually, everything we have had has been large portions,... More

Went here because it was highly recommended by the guy who checked me in when I arrived in Asheville. Really excellent food, not the same old same old.

Why isn't Salsa's rated number 1 on trip advisor? My wife and I had an excellent early evening dining experience. Both meals were exquisite. I highly recommend eating here when in Asheville. Ron Sr.

Don't expect your usual burrito if you decide to come here, the dishes are definitely more special than that. We absolutely enjoyed the food but the seating outdoors was in a more than sketchy place. Odd people, seemingly on drugs, kept walking by, standing next to us and smoking - somewhat unpleasant and if we were less people that would... More

This is probably my favorite lunch place in Asheville! All the food is locally sourced (sometimes from the owner's own garden.) You will find a cornucopia of flavors in every dish ... from plantains to jicama to homemade habanero sauce and beyond. I love the spliff rolls, all the quesadillas and the lunch bowls. Be warned ... the portions are... More
