Our hotel was near Salsa so we passed it often while walking during our weekend stay, We noticed that each time we passed it, the restaurant was always busy, sometimes there was even a line going out the door. So, we just had to try it to see what was the draw. We went for Saturday afternoon happy hour and... More

Came with a group of six for a Friday night dinner. Enjoyed our cocktails in the alley while waiting for a table. Don't miss the ginger mojito! Food was delicious and so very fresh. Prices are reasonable and portions were gigantic. Service was exceptional with our group in this busy but small restaurant. Very enjoyable and we will return.

Go here with an open mind and order something a little out of your comfort zone. Although they have great standard Mexican (burrito, casadilla, taco etc), try the interesting and amazing house specials. I had pork with plantains, beans, rice, grilled veggies, cheese, and every single bite of it was amazing. They also make wonderful margaritas without any pre-made sour mix.... More

Went here on recommendation of someone who has eaten here before. It was worth it. Great drinks, awesome food, and service.. Place is small but would be worth the wait!

Walking though downtown Asheville with some friends from Florida, we were looking for a dinner spot. My friends said, "Mexican sounds good." For those of us that live locally, we know that Hendersonville/Asheville area has more Mexican fare that we know what to do with. And must of them are not great..... So, when they said, "Let's try Salsa," I... More

Hit town had never been here before. It looked interesting. Not a fancy place. Price are very reasonable. Sat outside. Waitress was amazing. Sweet, beautiful and took the time to help me out with the lay of the land. Everything was fresh and very good quality. You cannot go wrong with the three salsa plate. Can't wait to try it... More

The food was delicious and so very fresh. Everything was good. Be warned that the portions are huge, so unless you have a healthy appetite plan to share. The salsa trio was fabulous.

Salsa offers Pom Pom Poms; a layered meal in wooden bowls that are out of this world! I can't wait to go back for more! Service was good, seating in an "alley" was quirky, and the drinks were fine, as well.

We were pleasantly surprised when we found this gem. All the ingredients were fresh and they offered different types of Mexican food, compared to other compatible restraunts.
