Expensive for Mexican but fresh and huge portions

We weren't hungry so shared the bean dip. My friend also ordered the sweet potato burrito. It was huge and she took home half. So fresh and favorable. My husband's hibiscus tea was also favorable. Too much ginger for me, but would be great for the ginger lover. $15 a pop is a pricey dinner, but... read more

We were looking for a filling meal at a great price and we found it here. We were here for only one night and didn't want to pay a fortune on small portions at the other restaurants in town. We showed up around 5:30 and sat right down and got greeted right away. The menu had several different styles of... More

We dropped in on a Saturday with 4 adults and a 3yr old. After a short wait--one that passed easily while watching a street performer at the nearby intersection, we were seated in what I thought to be a small but comfortable dining room. The menu is appealing but I was still skeptical given what seemed to be a distant... More

The food and service are excellent. I had the "Asheville burrito". I will return for sure! Very small dining area though. I did not experience a wait, but they only seat complete parties.

Head here every time we are in Asheville. Love their burritos, tacos, hot sauce, tortilla chips, etc. Friendly service. Can get busy and very packed, the tables are small, but that all adds to the charm for us. LOVE IT.

On a random trip to go see one of our favorite couples, the Hunt's, in Johnson City, TN, we decided to take a day trip to Bristol, Virginia and Asheville, North Carolina. We are always trying to get the Hunt's to try new foods, especially since they are always saying how diverse our pallets are LOL! We looked at multiple... More

The servers were nice and checked on us often but the food was not good at all. It was bland and quite overpriced. The place was so small you could barely move in there. There are lots of good reviews so it's possible we got a bad chef.

Very good fresh food. Our only complaint was having to pay for chips and salsa (lol :P) and canned soft drinks. The food came out super hot and the guacamole was delicious!!!

This is a little tiny restrauant but very good. We only had to wait 10 minutes to get seated. The service is very fast-we got our food in about 10 minutes. We got the avacado salsa and it was sooo good! They have a lot of salsa's to choose from too!The food is not your usual mexican fare. If you... More

We opted for Salsa's in place of a more expensive, fancy Mexican restaurant and we were SO impressed! Huge portions! The plantains were amazing. They have unique offerings blending traditional Mexican and Caribbean foods - unique pom-poms in a Puerto Rican bowl. Just amazing! And enough to take home and serve the next morning with a fried egg on top... More
