We visited during our trip in July 2013 (not October), as we do every time we come to Asheville. Doc Chey's is my favorite Asian-fusion restaurant. They have the best spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce! I also like their Chinese Lo Mein. This restaurant is always busy, which speaks to how good it is. One of my favorite... More

It was raining and all I wanted was comfort food. DOC Chey's totally hit the spot. Great place and yummy food. Just be warned lines start early.

Great variety, fresh variety, great staff. Really enjoyed the options available. Portions were filling, definitely a place I would visit again.

We dined here on a busy Saturday night and had a short wait. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was good. We ordered the crispy vegetable spring rolls as an appetizer and they were tasty but rather greasy. My main dish, wok fried rice with chicken, was piping hot and flavorful. I was disappointed, however, that this... More

So good and great service. There was a line out the door but we got right in because we didnt mind sitting at the bar. The staff is super nice and the food was delicious. I got the bibimbop and my boyfriend gor the lo main and he won because their noodle were sooo good. Just great loved it!

When you walk into an Asian restaurant and see no Asians working or dining there, it probably means the Asians are not impressed. So true with this restaurant. So American that I would rate them almost as good as noodles and company.

I don’t get to Asheville often, but both times I have gone this year I make Doc Chey’s a lunch stop. First, know that this is a very popular place. So expect to wait for a table, even at off hours. It is small and cozy with a slightly hippy karma that makes Asheville a special place. The noodles are... More

My husband had pad thai, and I had vietnamese bun. Both were very good. However, the wait was long, and it was a bit chaotic inside. I recommend getting there early or going somewhere else if either of those things bother you.

Doc Chey's is one of our favorite restaurants in Asheville. We have never had a bad meal. The food is so consistently good that we even allowed our waiter to surprise us one night, knowing whatever he brought us would be wonderful, and it was. My husband and I will be on our way to a different restaurant but end... More

A favorite go-to restaurant in Asheville. The portion sizes are generous (my pad Thai could feed 2) and everything is delicious!
