Oodles of Noodles So Goodles

Doc Chey's is the goto place for noodles and other Asian infuenced dishes in downtown Asheville. It's got great service, delicious food and it's smack dab in the middle of everything.

Doc Chey's is located in downtown Asheville right on the main drag (so to speak). The street is a favorite for people gathering to check out the Asheville scene at night. (lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc.) Despite the crowded street, there was not a long wait to get seated. The service was good and prompt. I got the Szechwan... More

Definitely not a must visit. But their food is good and I do not have any knocks against the restaurant. I wasn't blown away by the food though.

My husband loved his meal and I enjoyed mine as well! He's more of a Foodie, I could just eat chocolate all day. The interior is small, but I didn't feel uncomfortable, more cozy. It was nice to have warm, good food on a cold day. Plus they had delicious vegetarian options!

Service was super friendly and fast for our take out order. The Vietnamese bun was not good to me. Too heavy on sprouts and pickled daikon; the pork was kind of tasteless. The beef bibimbap was ok. The pork lo mein had the best flavor of the three dishes, but that isn't saying much. The place was packed, and perhaps... More

We stopped here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The dumplings were delicious. The fried rice and chicken were very good also.

Doc Chey's stands tall among the Asheville restaurant giants. It has one of the best combinations of service, price and quality food of any of them. The menu offers a great variety of fresh local foods for the vegetarian and meat lover. The build your own rice platters are delicious and spiced to your taste.

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor for our recent weekend trip up to Asheville, DOC Chey's was one of the restaurants I 'saved' to possible try out. Great Choice! We were there on a Saturday about 1pm, the place was busy, but we didn't have to wait long for a seat. Service was very good and the food was better!... More

This restaurant is a little gem in Asheville. The wait isn't usually too bad on a busy night, and I have enjoyed everything I have tried from the menu. The thai fried rice and phad thai are both gluten free (among other items). The staff is friendly and knowledgable about the menu and the food usually comes out pretty quick.... More

People that live in places with great noodle houses may not appreciate it, but the food is amazing. The flavor is great. The service was amazing.
