A great value

Excellent asian options at very reasonable prices. Noodles and rice entrees are all outstanding. Be prepared to wait but it's worth it!

We are from Atlanta and are familiar with the Doc Chey"s there. This one is a bit more upscale with table service. We were a party of 3 ands ordered 2 appetizers and 3 meals, the portions are enormous, and the 3 of us could easily have shared one dinner. As we were staying at a hotel. We sent a... More

The place looks authentic Japanese. All the decoration and signs get the correct ambiance for the encounter with the food. By the way, food is amazing !!! They made it to perfection and they let you change something in the ingredients if you don't want the way they offer. When they say spice, be ready, it's spice but they can... More

when you downtown and want a good meal, they have awesome selections. Parking can be a problem but don't let that get you down.

Good food and great for take out. Hard to find a parking space. The chicken pad thai is good. Their spring rolls are good as well.

A friend and I were shopping in downtown Asheville and wandered into this restaurant one cold, windy day. We were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. We both cleaned our plates and agreed we would definitely return in the future!

We come back to Asheville for many reasons, one is Doc Cheys. Great atmosphere, in the heart of downtown. Often very busy but there's a reason why. Don't forget the Thai coconut soup... it will warm your heart, body, oh yeah and soul! And that's just for starters. Affordable and delicious.

Beautiful presentation of 3 different dishes for table, followed by the first taste. NO flavor and dry. It was discovered that the bowls was more than half rice with a show of meat and veggies on top. A dish of curry for the table lacked sauce, so waitress brought more. Only when the check arrived did we discover that there... More

OK pan-Asian food. I've found the specials to be the best options. I've been here a number of times and will go back. Nice for a relatively quick, easy meal.

On a prior visit to Asheville, I had looked in the window of this busy place and seen happy diners bowed over their bowls. On a January night, what could be better than a steaming bowl of noodles, vegetables, and broth? A plate of steamed dumplings, that's what! The food was fresh and delicious. The service was prompt and friendly.... More
