Kids wanted to try this place on a visit to Asheville. I had the ramen noodles with the grilled local trout on top and it was tasty. Husband had the bulgogi and kids split a pad thai. There was plenty of food. you order at the counter and they bring you your meal. Decor is lovely.

We did have to wait on a Sat. eve for one hour but it was well worth it. The food is absolutely delicious and the wait staff is the best.... our waitress was superb... wish I had asked her name so I could put it in this review... I told her she was one of the best waitresses I had... More

One of my very favorites in Asheville - I dine here often (my fiance and I love this place for date night). The food is amazing, and the prices are even better (you get a ton of food for the price). My favorite is the red curry with chicken over chow fun noodles instead of rice. I also love the... More

I have to eat here every time that we visit Asheville. Great food, local meats and always good service. They have a few different types of noodles to choose from, I love their wide rice noodles. I order them in the chicken lomein and add broccoli - Delocious!!! The portions are definitely large enough to share but I choose not... More

Doc Chey's has lots of great choices, even vegan choices for those of us who don't eat animal products! Our food was delicious, and there were several healthier choices. I had a steamed Korean dish, which was tasty, but a little dry. My husband had a stir fry dish with tofu that was delicious. It's a little noisy and the... More

We went to this restaurant on independence day so everywhere was packed and we had to wait a short while for a table. I had the mongolian beef and it was very fresh. The flavours were all distinct and rolled on and off my tongue one after another. I currently live in midwest America so I am unused to fresh... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was great. Spring rolls were good. Blood orange tea was light and refreshing

It was good but not great. Husband had Pad Thai with beef and I had Tomato Ginger noodle bowl with tempeh. They definitely give you huge portions so if you are a light eater, you may want to share or you'll be taking home leftovers. Very good service. Worth a try.

It was fine but nothing amazing at all. Had been highly recommended and did not live up to the expectations.

While visiting in downtown Asheville for a week we had Sunday lunch at Doc Chey's. They open at 11:30 and we got there at Noon and it was already so full we had to sit at the counter. Even though I didn't much care for that we took it as a good sign that the food would be good. We... More
