So good and great service. There was a line out the door but we got right in because we didnt mind sitting at the bar. The staff is super nice and the food was delicious. I got the bibimbop and my boyfriend gor the lo main and he won because their noodle were sooo good. Just great loved it!

When you walk into an Asian restaurant and see no Asians working or dining there, it probably means the Asians are not impressed. So true with this restaurant. So American that I would rate them almost as good as noodles and company.

I don’t get to Asheville often, but both times I have gone this year I make Doc Chey’s a lunch stop. First, know that this is a very popular place. So expect to wait for a table, even at off hours. It is small and cozy with a slightly hippy karma that makes Asheville a special place. The noodles are... More

My husband had pad thai, and I had vietnamese bun. Both were very good. However, the wait was long, and it was a bit chaotic inside. I recommend getting there early or going somewhere else if either of those things bother you.

Doc Chey's is one of our favorite restaurants in Asheville. We have never had a bad meal. The food is so consistently good that we even allowed our waiter to surprise us one night, knowing whatever he brought us would be wonderful, and it was. My husband and I will be on our way to a different restaurant but end... More

A favorite go-to restaurant in Asheville. The portion sizes are generous (my pad Thai could feed 2) and everything is delicious!

We had to wait about 20 mins to be seated on a weekend evening but it was worth the short wait. We ended up seated at the bar. The menu is relatively short with appetizers, rice dishes and noodle dishes. The pork Szechuan was served quickly, was very hot and fresh and just the right portion size; came with excellent... More

Doc Chey's is an Asheville gem! They are located in a small space, but the wait time has always been worth it in my opinion (check bar seats). Service has always been great and helpful. I always always get a cup of the Thai Coconut Chicken Soup (AWESOME!) and Wok Seared Green Beans with Chicken, which leaves me craving for... More

Kids wanted to try this place on a visit to Asheville. I had the ramen noodles with the grilled local trout on top and it was tasty. Husband had the bulgogi and kids split a pad thai. There was plenty of food. you order at the counter and they bring you your meal. Decor is lovely.
