Early Girl Eatery lives up to its reputation. The restaurant is located in an older space in the downtown-cool of Asheville and is totally casual. Don't let a wait keep you from hanging around. Our lunch-time wait was only about 15 minutes and the staff efficiently monitors the movement. I had a blackened grouper sandwich, from the large specials board,... More

I had sausage peppers and egg scramble. Taste was excellent, but presentation was lacking a bit. A bit more color on the plate and it would be a 5. The long wait is worth it.

Very yummy, on a cute street, reminded me if the French Quarter. Had a 45 minute wait, is was a very popular place. Had their vegetarian breakfast bowl, my husband had there pulled pork bowl with tomato gravy, tasted very fresh, service was quick and friendly. Happy a friend told us about this place.

I don't quite get the great reviews. My family of 4 went for dinner, nothing was wonderful, the portions were small. I wouldn't bother going back. I don't get the rave reviews.

I loved this place! Breakfast is served all day, the atmosphere is casual and wonderful, and I like the farm-to-table concept.

Great place and lots of real good food with healthy options. I got the waffles with beet burger but there was chicken and biscuits for those who like the southern style of food. Lots to eat and very friendly servers. Very good prices would go again especially for the healthy menu,

YES YES and YES. We traveled to Asheville with our 2yo and 4yo, so let's just say patience is not yet a skill either of them have acquired. When we were told the wait was going to be forty-five minutes, my husband and I added our name and then quickly browsed other restaurants in the area. All either had long... More

My son and I stopped in for dinner and we both ordered the grilled chicken sandwiches with bacon, spinach, goat cheese and tomato. It was served with basil mayo and we ordered fries for the side. It was all delicious. I'd definitely come here for another meal.
