Asheville in a nutshell

You can't get more Asheville than Rosetta's. No muss no fuss with good eats and vegan. Is it the best food or dining experience ever? No, but you sure can do a lot worse! If vegan isn't your thing there are still a few things worth eating. I recommend the taters. Good folks doing good things.

The Buchi Bar is okay, but it's not what I wanted. Rosetta's is one of those places in Asheville that is an old standby. I've been going there for years. It was the kind of place you could always count on at the end of the night for decent late night grub. No longer! I went by at 11 pm... More

Delicious vegetarian food. Much more casual than Laughing Seed Cafe. Funky and fun. Can people watch over Lexington Street. Had the Family Favorite (peanut butter tofu with smashed potatoes, homemade gravy and steamed kale). Yummy!

People kept referring to this as a dive, which it is definitely not. Great view of the street below. Lots of comfort food done veggie/vegan. I had the Reuben and some sort of "cheese"cake. So good I went back the next day for tacos.

I returned three times in the one week I was in Asheville! Beautiful menu, especially the special drinks downstairs. Tempeh reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries. Definitely going back.

Yum! Traveling vegans often end up very limited choices so finding this gem was very exciting. Even better was that Rosetta's delivered on their promise of great food. The kombucha was quite good, too. We know our non vegan friends would enjoy this as a great option, too.

We went here after a long day of hiking and were HUNGRY. Rosetta's did not disappoint our huge appetites. The food is just like your mom would make were she vegetarian. Yummy, comforting and satisfying. We had amongst us the Nacho Platter loaded with vegan queso and pico de gallo, the Family Favorite (peanut butter tofu with gravied mashed potatoes... More

We liked this restaurant because of it's good food and vegan/gluten free options. We also liked that they provide food to homeless and needy individuals based on their ability to pay.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Rosetta's. While the names of the different dishes are what one would expect at a standard vegetarian/vegan restaurant, they are prepared in creative ways which brings out the flavors in the food. The ambiance is "early college" which makes the experience fun. Also, there is plenty to read while you eat from all the... More

While we were in Asheville our daughters said we had to try Rosetta's Kitchen. I checked out their menu on line so I could have an idea of the food they had. I'm glad I did because they have very different options than we are used to. My husband & I are both meat eaters, our daughters are vegan. What... More
