Sushi had a lot to be desired. Very bland. I've had better sushi elsewhere. I must say that I received the most tasteless sushi I've ever had at Wasabi. Service was somewhat slow as well.

We had a great meal of sushi, tempura and beef takai for a very reasonable bill. We are not your adventurous sushi diners but the tuna and salmon pieces were large and favorable. The tempura was light and the beef spicy. The service was friendly and wonderful. My husband thought it was funny to hear 'yal enjoy now' in a... More

I went to Wasabi by recommendation from my b & b host. And it was fantastic!!!! I am picky about my sushi and the quality of my sushi there was supurb. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're looking for sushi. The atmosphere is loud, busy, and crowded. Not romantic but definitely fun! Would go there all the time if... More

My husband and I stopped in here for a couple of sushi rolls and we were NOT disappointed. The hostesses were nice. Our waitress was super friendly and answered any questions we had without making us feel dumb. Haha. We ordered the perfect match roll and the spicy crab salad roll. The perfect match was the best sushi roll I... More

My husband and I went here for a romantic sushi dinner on a Monday night. We ordered the sweetheart sushi and some sashimi a la carte. The prices were pretty common for most sushi places we go to. The place is very small, but we did not need a reservation. We sat at the sushi bar and were able to... More

I like to spend good money on good food but I felt ripped off here. We like authentic sushi, not Americanized sushi, which is what this place specializes in. We got the sushi and sashimi platter for $30 which had so little for the price it was insane. The quality does not match the price. Go to Heiwa, so much... More

With quite a few Japanese restaurants in Asheville each one has to be at the top of their game to compete and compete they do. After a fun ride on the Pubcycle, 8 of us were thirsting for some good Japanese food. Wasabi was the pick of the crowd. We entered a crowded dining room without reservations but they managed... More

There is a reason that they have been voted best sushi 10 years in a row. Excellent food, good prices and beautiful presentation. Worth the trip.

We are never disappointed when we come here for a meal. The food is fantastic, and though we normally sit at the sushi bar, we sat outside on the patio this time. The amazing Nicole was our server - LOVE her! Everything was just great.

There are so many places to choose from in Asheville, it can be so overwhelming, but this is a wonderful place for sushi! They are a small little place but make some of the freshest sushi I've had. I would recommend the sweetheart roll and the blue ridge roll. It can get pretty busy most nights but we were able... More
