Best sushi in town

We've been coming to Wasabi for suchi and sashimi for years. Returning recently, we were re-confirmed in our estimation of the best sushi in town. Fresh, delicious and presented beautifully. Not too expensive for sushi (or Asheville) and great service to boot.

We did not expect good sushi in Asheville but tried this place several years ago. We were pleasantly surprised and have returned here many times. The sushi is fresh and there are plenty of options on the menu. There are no empty tables by 8 pm so make a reservation.

It's a tiny restaurant, but the food is amazing and the service is always good. Don't say it lightly when I say it's consistently the best sushi in Asheville.

My wife and I were in Asheville for a few days and happened upon this place while out walking around. What a surprise it was! Terrific, fresh, tasty sushi. Wonderful service. Relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again.

In true Asheville Style, Wasabi measures up: food quality, quantity, Service & location. The preceding reviews do it justice, no need for much more. Sushi Special lunch, Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box, 2 side salads, 2 small Sake bottles, Green Tea Ice Cream, Tax & decent Tip: $43, good stuff! Better yet, immediately across the street from from the good wife's... More

Love this place!! My favorite is the Red Dragon Roll and that ginger, lemon, honey tea!. It's especially fun when several people are eating sushi and they bring out the big sushi boat...:)

I was hesitant on going here but my son loves sushi. I thought ugh, sushi in the mountains???? I loved it! It is now in my top 2 sushi restaurants and would stop here every time I come to the area. Absolutely loved it!

I was on a business trip to our Asheville office and our service tech suggested that we eat here for lunch. I was not expecting this restaurant to be this nice and the food this good. First off the atmosphere was very laid back and relaxing. The hostess was very pleasant and polite and the servers were friendly and constantly... More

We are avid sushi eaters and this was the best sushi we have had in NC over the years. We love fresh, raw fish, but have not had great in NC until today. We live in Florida, but travel a lot and have a chance for great sushi such as Morimotos in CA and Miami etc. The head chef, Leo,... More
