My husband and I went here for a romantic sushi dinner on a Monday night. We ordered the sweetheart sushi and some sashimi a la carte. The prices were pretty common for most sushi places we go to. The place is very small, but we did not need a reservation. We sat at the sushi bar and were able to... More

I like to spend good money on good food but I felt ripped off here. We like authentic sushi, not Americanized sushi, which is what this place specializes in. We got the sushi and sashimi platter for $30 which had so little for the price it was insane. The quality does not match the price. Go to Heiwa, so much... More

With quite a few Japanese restaurants in Asheville each one has to be at the top of their game to compete and compete they do. After a fun ride on the Pubcycle, 8 of us were thirsting for some good Japanese food. Wasabi was the pick of the crowd. We entered a crowded dining room without reservations but they managed... More

There is a reason that they have been voted best sushi 10 years in a row. Excellent food, good prices and beautiful presentation. Worth the trip.

We are never disappointed when we come here for a meal. The food is fantastic, and though we normally sit at the sushi bar, we sat outside on the patio this time. The amazing Nicole was our server - LOVE her! Everything was just great.

There are so many places to choose from in Asheville, it can be so overwhelming, but this is a wonderful place for sushi! They are a small little place but make some of the freshest sushi I've had. I would recommend the sweetheart roll and the blue ridge roll. It can get pretty busy most nights but we were able... More

Had lunch at Wasabi and we were impressed with the quick service, pleasant demeanor of the staff, and the amazing sashimi platter. The cuts of fish were large by many restaurants' standards and the plate wasn't overrun with shrimp! In fact there was not one shrimp. We plan to go back next time

Wasabi has become my wife and I's go to restaurant anytime we are near the Blue Ridge. In fact we took the 45 minute drive from Brevard last time just for dinner. The service is great and friendly, and their Salmon Curry dish will make you dream about it. The sushi is great but you get the best experience with... More

In the past have dined at Wasabi frequently. Took a friend from out of town recently and was disappointed. Miso soup was very bitter. Service was OK but not the usual. My usual volcano role was still excellent. Will return and hope this visit was just a fluke.
