I am originally from the Middle East, and if it was not for the fact that the menu was in English, I would not have been able to tell a difference between eating at Jerusalem Garden Cafe and sitting in a restaurant back home. Frank (the owner) has crafted an authentic Middle Eastern experience that brings forth and emphasizes every... More

My family of four had dinner here in early August. We sat in the back room, which is draped with curtains and feels like the inside of a tent! The decor is great in this restaurant and certainly makes you feel like you are in the middle east. We started off with some stuffed grape leaves that were very good.... More

Locals (like us) love this place. We can count on quality food, and exceptional service. Longtime family run business, it is a great option if you like this cuisine and don't need fancy. It is less about the show and more about the consistent delivery of a meal that you will enjoy. Some of our group were picky eaters and... More

My wife and I went her for our Anniversary. We were not disappointed. This is a very cool place, with very good food. We sat in the back area, which resembles a huge covered tent. We were entertained by belly dancers, and received excellent service from our server. The food was delicious and unique. We will definitely go back.

Good ambience & very tasty but extremely small portions and very expensive! We left with hungry bellies & empty wallets.

We love Mediterranean food, so we decided to try this on a recent visit to Asheville. They serve a brunch menu on weekends, but it is definitely not your standard brunch. Food was delicious. My husband and I both ordered lamb, which was nice and lean and cooked perfectly. Spices were used judiciously. Sometimes I find that the spices are... More

We wanted to try some different cuisine for lunch, and we spotted this cafe downtown in Asheville. Excellent food, fast service, the lamb was superb!

My husband and I ate here in 2012 just after getting engaged- the staff was incredibly sweet and personable! We had a an incredible meal... We relied heavily on the advice of our waitress and weren't disappointed at all! Our appetizer was wonderful, and the lamb kabobs were heavenly. The atmosphere was phenomenal- the decorations, the cushions and low table... More

It is across the street from Tupelo Honey which always has a huge crowd so if you are too hungry to hang around for biscuits cross the street for some equally yummy eats! The Jordanian chicken melts in your mouth! Everything comes with fresh pita bread, flavorful vegetables and rice. You will be pleased that the other restaurant was over... More

Loved the interesting middle-eastern food and wished we had gone into the room in the back where clients eat at low tables, and the room is filled with atmosphere. Up front is nice too, but not as colorful and exciting as the rear room. We enjoyed a mezze platter with a variety of foods and lovely mint tea.
