We ended up here only because the lines at a couple of other places were too long. So glad we ate here. We ate outside (there's only a few outdoor tables. There's such great people watching in Asheville, so this was a great opportunity. The food was very good - I had chicken schwarma. Service... read more

I was recently in Asheville with friends and we wanted Mediterranean food. This was the only Middle Eastern restaurant we knew of in the downtown area so we tried it out. My cousin is married to a Lebanese woman so I am used to very good Mediterranean cuisine. The place was not busy when we were there and there appeared... More

Popped in here for a quick meal. The Greek salad was good but the falafels were nothing special and below average. Tables have ottoman type seats that were too low. It looked like they had some good dishes worth trying but not sure I would return, given how many other excellent restaurants there are to choose from in the area.... More

Personal and friendly service, food came fast and tasted just right. Hummus, tabbouleh, wine leaves, all good, and the coffee and lemonade was perfect!

We had walked by this cafe the night before and wondered about it. Back at the hotel I looked up the menu and liked what I saw. We were able to sit right down for dinner. The couple next to us had ordered the appetizer platter and one special dinner. We ordered the same thing. The hummus was some of... More

Stopped in when we saw belly dancer through window. Good choice, we had Lebonese white wine and a Lebanese dessert. Both were very good. We enjoyed the dancer and atmosphwre. Service was very good!

Wanted something different and decided to come here based on the good reviews. We were not disappointed. Started with the tomato and mozzarella salad and a spinach pie. I've never had such a good spinach pie and I've had many. The lamb shank was truly delicious and it was served with an awesome vegetable mix. The lamb schwarma was very... More

We had lunch (falafel sandwich, greek salad) and enjoyed it so much, we went back for dinner (lamb schwarma, baba ganoush). The falafel was great, as was the bab ganoush. The schwarma was okay, but the side salad of chopped cucumber and tomato was very tasty. Prices are very, very reasonable. Excellent service both times. I would highly recommend the... More
