We had a family (7 people) meal here on a Saturday night. We arrived about 5:30 and got seated right away. We discovered this is not a good restaurant for large groups as they had to push two round tables together to accomodate our group. I did not see any other parties greater than 4 in the place. Our waitress... More

Hi Richard-- I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the food and that your service was great-- we pride ourselves in those areas. I'm sorry to hear that the music was too loud. In the future, if you let someone know, we are always happy to adjust the volume on the speakers. I appreciate the feedback on the seating arrangement.... More

We tried to get into a different restaurant but the wait was over an hour. We decided to go across the street to Jerusalem Garden Café. We were seated immediately and eating with 15 minutes. I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. I sat on a pouf with no back and it was surprisingly comfortable. The service was great. The... More

A Mediterranean gem in the heart of downtown Asheville, The food is excellent, the service was wonderful, and the pricing is reasonable. We stopped for a late lunch/early dinner (about 4pm) and ordered off the lunch menu. Our waitress was very attentive.

The reality is - Asheville is full of fabulous eateries, especially given the size of this beautiful little town. My husband and I stopped in for a Sunday lunch in October. Their Mediterranean menu offered some unique selections along with the standards. My husband had a gyro which was good, however we frequent many Greek restaurants in our town so... More

Tried this restaurant today for the first time. Wow, amazing! Terrific hummas, tahini salad, greek salad, but the lamb shawarma was amazingly good.

Four of us ate an early dinner here, loved the lamb gyro, falafel, Greek salad, and tea, disappointed with the spinach pie, it had a lot of dough and little spinach. The prices were great, we would definitely eat here again!

we went there for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful time. We sat at a low table in one of the alcove seating areas on cushions and pillows. It sounds odd but it created a very comfortable and relaxed dining experience. We had the vegetarian plate with falafels, tabouli, baba ghanoush, stuffed grape leaves and pita. The... More

Nice little place downtown, good service. Went in arount 1:30 on a weekday so it was a little slow, which isnt bad. Had the moroccan mint tea ( which in most resteraunts is just mint leaves shoved in a pot woth a tea bag) this mint tea was great and tasted like it was properly brewed. Also had the moroccan... We were travelling through Asheville and stopped for lunch and accidentally found this place. The waitress was very friendly and ready to explain each dish. We ordered lamb and grilled salmon which were excellent, Jordanian chicken which was very good and their house speciality of eggplant stuffed with rice and lamb was beow average. We enjoyed the meal which was... More

We were trying to get into Tupelo Honey, which had a 2 hour wait. Forget it. We were recommended this place from the hostess. The Shwarma was delightful, the hummus, silky and amazing. I had the moussaka, it was ok. But the falafel and mint tea were so perfect. I'm definitely returning. Will not get the sangria again though.
