Fast service, good food. There is no kids menu so they split the chicken kebabs. The veggie platter had a lot to sample. Moderately priced, fun decor. Parking in the area can be a pain, be prepared to walk a bit.

I truly relished the lamb wrapped in pita with lots of wholesome greens in a piquant vinaigrette on the side. After traveling and eating well in the Moslem world I appreciated the wine lacking there -- a white (pink) zinfandel. And the baklava! Great! Also, they kindly kept my suitcase for me while I toured Asheville, accessible because of the... More

Really great Middle Eastern Food at reasonable prices :) in the Heart of Downtown. We ate a very small seating area outside. It was fun watching the people across the street in Pritchard Park - there are all kinds of folks in Asheville!

The absolutely best burger I've ever had was at the Jerusalem Garden Cafe. The burger was a mixture of beef and lamb with feta cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and tzatziki sauce. The eggplant moussaka is wonderful and don't miss the roasted lamb shanks.

Downtown Asheville provides a diverse and entertaining atmosphere as well as the tons of great restaurants. We checked out the Jerusalem Garden last Saturday, fortunately just before the rush and were pleased with every aspect. The belly dancer was excellent as was the music and interior decorations. The experience reminded me of my visit to Turkey as the menu was... More

A couple of weeks ago my daughter and her family (daughter and husband) came to Asheville for a short visit. We were a party of 7, Saturday night, and one of the ladies choose Jerusalem Garden in downtown for our dinner. I wasn't so sure, a place with belly dancers... with a 3 years old....I really did want to go... More

This is NOT a "Greek" restaurant, for those who don't know the difference. That said, the Jerusalem Garden Cafe' offers freshly prepared, beautifully presented, AUTHENTIC middle-eastern cuisine including small plates, salads, sandwiches & wraps, and entrees... all available for lunch or dinner. Delicious & creative specials are also available. Our food and service were excellent, and all of their menu... More

We wanted to try something that we have never had before. We had been to Asheville several times to have dinner and always wanted to try this restaurant but never had until now. It was a nice restaurant with a lot of culture and good food.

We discovered Jerusalem Garden Cafe on a previous visit to Asheville. On this visit we brought our college-age son. "Eat here with us. It's like our experience of food when we visited Jerusalem." The service is attentive and the food is superb. We appreciate the memories of our Middle East visits and will always be at Jerusalem Garden Cafe when... More
