Great Atmosphere

I liked the casbah look of the restaurant. We sat down on couches with soft pillows. My coucous with lamb was delicious. The lamb portion was only 2 ounces but the flavor was great. My daughter enjoyed the vegetarian plate. My wife thought her dish was too spicey and her coffee was not warm enough... read more

We went for dinner on a Saturday night and was seated immediately. We chose to sit outside because of the loud music inside. However when it began to rain, we had to go back inside. The staff was extremely kind and courteous. The atmosphere was great and the food was incredible! Best hummus around. We love Jerusalem Garden Cafe!

Excellent place to eat, great service. Go early because it fills up fast. Be sure to try the pomegranate cranberry mimosas!

We've been there several times before because they have great food. Last night we happened to visit while they had belly dancing. As always, the food was very tasty. It was also fun to watch the dancer. Lots going on the area with the drum circle across the street in the park. Good time for all.

I had read up about this restaurant and was really looking forward to eating there as I come from the Middle East.it. The café itself had a nice atmosphere, however I found the food disappointing. It lacked flavour. I ordered falafel with pitta - however they did not know how to serve it and I was given (as I requested)... More

For a person coming from the middle east, eating in an Arabic restaurant is not so pleasant because you keep comparing what you are eating to home.. but at JGC i felt definitely like home. A lot of the food is prepared by hand from the owner Mr. Frank. you can taste the love and passion of this guy in... More

We ate a late-night dinner here. The vegetarian platter was fresh and simply delicious - especially the light, crispy falafel. But we foung JGC to have a strange vibe - maybe because we were there late in the evening? The music didn't correspond to the environment (jazz/blues in a middle-Eastern restaurant) and the manager seemed pulled in many directions even... More

Very good restaurant in downtown Asheville. Very good service and nice selection of Mediterranean dishes. Decent selection of wine.

I love greek food and this stop does not disappoint. Greek salad and hummus make it worth a stop when downtown. Service is also good.

The restaurant had a limited menu but the food that was on the menu was fresh and well presented. I am of Arabic descent and grew up enjoying Arabic food. The menu was quite limited but the food that I ordered was delicious. We visited the restaurant on a late Saturday afternoon. As we were getting ready to leave, a... More
