i last ate here years ago and was unimpressed. Raleigh has a Middle-Eastern place that is to die for. I am happy to say that the food seems better now (based on my limited lunch today). Service was fine. It took a bit to get my meal, which was surprising since there were only a couple tables ahead of me.... More

My wife and I are Asheville natives but we hadn't yet tried Jerusalem Garden. Our first experience, over lunch, was a great . It was a late, mid-afternoon lunch on a cold January weekday and we had the place to ourselves. We sat in the back room at one of the traditional middle-eastern tables (sitting on cushions on the floor--though... More

We sat I the front of the restaurant with absolutely exquisite tables. The food was delicious. My husband enjoyed crepes that were very different than French crepes and fantastic in their own wrap. I had a kafta wrap and added pototaoes! Fabulous!

We stopped by a couple restaurants in the area and were told at least a 30 min wait. Looking across the street, we decided to try out the Jerusalem Garden Cafe. I had the vegetarian platter, priced at $10, it was a nice portion and tasted fresh. Two people in out party had the grass-fed burgers and said they were... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by my son. He knows we are vegetarian and love mediterranian food. Our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered the vegetarian platter and it was very good. It had a mixture of mediterranian food with an excellent hummus and some of the best falafel I have ever had. I would definitely eat... More

MY wife and two year old stumbled into this place after the other place we wanted was over an hour wait. Impressed our waitress filled the kids cup only halfway- perfect. Great atmosphere, excellent food. Thought there might be more than four little falafel a for the $5.5 appetizer. Great spot!!

This is one of our go-to restaurants in Asheville. As a vegetarian, hard to decide between the vegetarian platter (the best baba, humuus, tabouleh, grape leaves, falafel, pita) or the vegetable cous cous (perfectly roasted fresh veggies in a fabulously seasoned tomato based sauce) but I'm stuck on the vegetarian platter - possibly my favorite meal in town. My husband's... More

I would have given this restaurant 4 stars. But service brings it down to three. The food was good and I have no complaints about it. We were seated right away and our order was taken within a reasonable amount of time. But then we waited 40 minutes to be served. I find this totally unacceptable even though the restaurant... More

I have wanted to visit this place for several years. What a pleasant experience. It was not crowded and we were seated immediately. The menu was exrensive. We started with stuffed grape leaves, vegetarian. I enjoyed the lamb scwarma plate and my wife had the vegitarian platter. No complaints about anything. This is not a fast food place, but relaxing...
