Right in the heart of downtown Asheville across the street from Pritchard Park, and next to Asheville Discount Pharmacy. We offer lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, and small tapas plates. We have traditional floor seating in our "tent room", outdoor seating, and a more typical dining room as well. We have daily and nightly specials, with live music and belly dancing on Friday and Saturday nights (reservations recommended.) Check our our menus on our website, and call for reservations!

Fantastic lunch!

My wife and I just had another great lunch here. We try and plan our morning around our visit to Asheville to have lunch at Jerusalem Garden Cafe.

Came there about 11:15 am. Our waitress was very helpful with our meal. We ate here a long time ago. We drank the Turkish coffee and the hot mint tea with honey. We had the lamb shawarma and eggplant mousska. The meal was great, it came with hummus, tahni salad and toasted pita. Our waitress came to check on us... More

Went here with a group of friends for a birthday. Sat on pillows in the back. The service was ridiculous. My wife eventually had to get up and go to the bar and bring us beers. The waiter was poor on every level. Got the orders wrong, got the checks wrong, really had no concept of service. He may have... More

Yummy yum! My mouth waters as I write this review, thinking of all the tastebud pleasing food Jerusalem Garden offers. I have never eaten a meal at this one of a kind joint, that I've been disappointed with. An added bonus to the delicious food is the cool atmosphere, with middle Eastern decor being at the heart of this groovy... More

We were downtown Asheville when the rains came, saw Jerusalem Cafe across the street, ducked in for lunch. Pleasant surprise. The interior was a little dark, but it was neat and clean. The waiter gave us our menus and said he would return, he did with water. We ordered chicken wraps and salads all of which was very good. The... More

I'm from the middle east, and this restaurant tasted just like our home cooking, which is really surprising. No one seems to get it right, not even my mom sometimes, but all the food we had was impressive! The servers are super cool (they even let me DJ) and they catered to my 16 people party for lunch. If I'm... More

Ask for the tent room and enjoy. The food was good and the atmosphere was a blast. Asheville has some great spots and this one is worth a visit.

We stumbled into the cafe by chance and were surprised to be treated to excellent staff (Lindsay and others working on 12/30), amazing food, and relaxed atmosphere. I simply cannot say enough about what a great dining experience this was. It makes every other restaurant we go to pale in comparison. We loved it! This is officially our new favorite... More

This is a great place to eat. The menu is well balanced for omnivores and vegetarians. It's pretty and when a belly dancer entertains during dinner, it's an added bonus.

In town for the day we had a late lunch at the cafe. The ambiance was awesome and the food was fresh - my wife loved the tabbouleh. We'd definitely eat there again when we are back in town.
