Barley's may not be the new "in place" but you can't beat the value for pizza and beer and interesting sandwich selections. Don't miss the beefalo wrap accompanied by a spinach salad. Beefalo chili is great! Lots of toppings available for pizzas. Always fun!

If you're looking for a place you can take your family, enjoy some pizza, and watch a ball game, then Barley's is the place to go. My kids love ordering the garlic knots as an appetizer, and their pizzas never disappoint. They also have a huge selection of beers, both on tap and bottled. The service is a little on... More

Great location downtown and within walking distance of many great places. The Fiddlesticks appetizer was delicious, I highly recommend it. Since they don't serve fried foods it replaces french fries with baked sourdough sticks with ranch or blue cheese dressing. The pizza is touted as "New York style" and it was pretty good although I've had better true New York... More

Across the street from my hotel, after a long travel & work day, this was the most convenient restaurant to go to in downtown Asheville. I tried the vegetable lasagna, as this is the only lasagna served. It was good, hot and filling but not great in taste. The French bread that accompanied the meal seem to be stale. A... More

The selection of beers on tap is awesome and well as the overall selection. Local brew selection is fantastic.

Very good pizza. The crust makes it a great pie. Very low key. We got there fairly early in the evening so it wasn't busy yet. Good service and it wasn't expensive.

We stopped in for a drink and a slice of pizza. They have a fantastic selection of beers & local brews, too. The pizza by the slice is delicious! A fun place!

The pool tables were nice and all but its an average bar. I thought it was a micro-brewery but its just a bar. I think they could use a facelift. The Asheville bar scene is a very competitive environment.

on our flight from TX to Atlanta (1st leg to NC) a seatmate said that she spent a few years in Asheville and that we should try Barleys. thinking it might be a little touristy, we stopped here for a weeknight dinner as our first stop in town for a long weekend. probably as Asheville as it gets: turns out...
