Good pizza, lots of beer choices and good for families and groups

Usually eat at the bar here. Attracts all kinds. This is a chain; but lots of locals frequent here. Comfortable, friendly staff and atmosphere is good to hang out and wind down.

We were in a hurry to see a show and they originally told us 15-20 minute, but after waiting that long they told us it would be another 15 minutes... Ended up having to eat at the bar. This ended up being fine, but wish we would have just done this in the first place. The host staff seemed disorganized... More

Great craft beer selection. Solid menu with tasty pizzas. Service was tested with a hair in my pizza. Manager was gracious and comped the pizza. I have probably eaten here 50 times and never experienced problems. Things happen. I will return!

Let me begin this review by saying that I did not eat here so I cannot comment on the food. My wife and I and another couple stopped in Barley's on the evening of Saturday, February 14, 2015. The place is very popular, there were no seats to accommodate us on the first floor so we went upstairs. The upstairs... More

And, insomuch as that, they really do excel. My husband introduced me to Asheville and this place is a staple for him. The Asheville Brewing Co - RocketGirl Lager was amazing as was his pizza (The All American), by report. I don't eat gluten or grains, so 95% of the menu is off-limits. But, they were kind about fixing me... More

Every single time my husband and I travel to Asheville, we have to stop at Barley's. We live in FL and drove through Asheville 4 times in 2014, each time we have to share a fresh pizza and some of our favorite beer selections. December of 2010 (we will never forget) we spent our Christmas in Asheville and sat in... More

We went to another restaurant that was way too crowded so we walked around for a while and found this place! Fantastic white pizza! My husband and I love pizza and this ranks on the top five list for sure!

It can be a little hit or miss at Barley's. We've visited several times and while we are always happy with the food, sometimes the service leaves a little to be desired. Our service on this trip was excellent. The food was delicious as always. Read more about it at www.randomfamilyadventures.com

We had just finished watching Wild at the Fine Arts Theater and Tracy suggested that we grab a slice of pizza from Barley's I like pizza so we went in for a slice and a coke. They had the ballgames going on the big screen TV's and our waiter Kyle was spot on with service. He didn't need for anything... More

The food smelled wonderful but we were there to experience our first taste of "Beer City, USA" Beer and we were not disappointed. The bartenders were friendly and relatively quick to pour ya beer.
