Excellet Cocktails and Tapas!

Visited due to local recommendation. By far the best tapas I’ve ever had in my life. Lots of choices on the menu from things as simple as pulled pork sliders which were equally amazing as the pork cheek. From the cocktails to the tapas, everything was delicious. Atmosphere is lively.

Surprisingly big place with good tapas. Good selection of food and wine. We were there when not busy and were sat as far away as possible and in the least pleasant table they have I think. I guess the hostess mistook my greeting for rudeness, but still, there was no reason to be seated there.

Place is off a smaller side street in downtown Asheville and your first impression is "wow, this is a little different" and you wonder if you made the right call. Well, you did. Waitress suggested you select 3-4 tapas (small plates) and see how you feel after trying those. We selected 4 great choices; such as crispy Brussels sprouts...not something... More

Brussel Sprouts to die for! Not crazy about the gnocchi. Nice pricey drink menu. In a crowd of great restaurants, this was our least favorite, but still good. Would be a great date night place.

Loved this restaurant. Food was delicious, atmosphere was excellent, service was speedy and polite. Great place for wine and sharing conversation over small plates. My husband and I got a bottle of wine and four tapas plates; it filled us up and the total was less than $100 including 20% tip.

Great romantic dinners or that special place to celebrate. Huge wine selection. Plentiful choices of tapas with a variety of specials each night. Tapas are creatively prepared full of flavors. Service was spot on.

We were interested in a light delicious dinner and this place entirely filled the bill! We had the chickpeas, "pork cheeks", calamari and a terrific maple-walnut bread pudding.

We chose this spot for a recent school reunion. We had a large party of 20+ people and they were very accommodating and put us at two neighboring tables. The food and service were both quite good. If you like tapas restaurants, you should definitely put this one on your list.

this was our first visit to Zambra and we sat at the bar - at the confessional spots - because it was very busy and no tables were available. The service was great and the food arrived promply. Food was all very good .... just a little pricey for the tapas portion sizes .... Brussels sprouts special was delicious!

The atmosphere itself is cool when you walk in. There's generally live music, depending on what night you come and the staff has always been on point. The food is amazing and it's the perfect environment for a couple glasses of wine or beers. I come here with friends and we always leave happy. Highly recommend.
