One of our trip favorites!

We read some reviews here & decided to give Zambra a try. Walking up to the restaurant I was a little unsure if we had made the right choice..its on a small, dark street & is nothing to look at from the outside. Once we got inside tho, we realized this place is a hidden gem! The decor/ambiance... read more

My wife and I had the pleasure of going to Zambra's (twice) over the 2015 Valentine's weekend. The food and service was amazing ! We had an amazing array of delectable dishes (tapas).Be sure to make reservations as it can get very busy very quickly . If in Asheville do not miss !

Very lovely scene, good buzz, very friendly, attentive staff... Th food was hit and miss; ravioli in cheese saice - the sauce tasted liked thickened velvetta. Same with the sause from the gnocchi... The ceviche tostada was outstanding, the breaded scallops delicious as well as the tofu dish. Bread pudding and flourless chocolate cake were excellent desserts.

We had dinner with friends at Zambra on Friday night and it was wonderful! The ambiance is so unique and the grilled chicken breast was outstanding. Zambra is on a side street but you need to find it - it's my favorite restaurant in Asheville and there are many, many great places to eat in this town. I've been to... More

I'm an Asheville native, and have been to this amazing restaurant many times, never leaving without a feeling of amazement and delight. My wife and I have had two of the most romantic and perfect dates ever at Zambra... it does live up to Asheville's "most romantic" restaurant, especially if you can reserve one of the more private grotto seating... The wife and I wanted Tapa's while in Asheville and happened upon this spot on Opentable during my search. The reviews were all relatively good.. even those of the "only come here if Curate is booked" which might have put some people off. Do not be put off! This was one of the best meals we have had, anywhere. We... More

Made a reservation for a Friday night. Waited at the bar for a few minutes and enjoyed a martini. Atmosphere is awesome! We sat in a cozy spot with cushions and throw pillows. They had live music as well. Loved the variety of the menu. Honestly, it's a been over a year since I visited and I thought I had... More

An upscale Tapas restaurant that everybody enjoyed. There was a wide variety of selection to satisfy everyone's tastes. Great atmosphere. It definitely should be on your short list in Asheville. Make a reservation.
