Consistently great food and atmosphere in eclectic surroundings. I had a roast duck breast tapas as well as a seared okra tapas. Both were very good.

We had the “House made Sangria which was not that good. The BBQ Beef Tapa with beans and house pickles with beet paste smeared on plate was ok. I did not taste the beet paste. I think the beef tapa could’ve used just a little bit more seasoning. The place looks nice and the server was nice as well.

We sat outside in the alleyway on a Sunday evening. We had fun choosing our tapas and trying new dishes. Very relaxing and fun.

Excellent wine bar in downtown Asheville. Excellent selection of tapas and a good selection of wine. Gnocchi was particularly excellent. Service was very good.

Wine was great but waitress didn't seem knowledgable about selection when asked details. Husband loved pork egg rolls. I loved mussels.

We have been walking by Zambras for many years on many visits to Asheville. Tonight we were able to go in without protest from kids who don't want that "tapas" thing! The patio reminds me of many places that I have sat all over the world - the old stones, string of lights and metal doors - puts you in... More

Lovely recommendation from a local shopkeeper. The tapas were fantastic: gnocchi, scallops, a lovely salad and prime beef medallions. Our server was adorable and helpful with wine choices. I wasn't a fan of the sangria, although others have loved it. We sat in the courtyard and the dining room wasn't very full, but it was late on a Sunday night.... More

We had 3 kids under 9 and 4 adults, so finding a restaurant where everyone is satisfied can be a challenge. Zambras hit on all cylinders, the kids had pizza and spaghetti (kid portions) but they were the same quality as the adults. Our Adults had pizza, gyro and sample platter, all prepared well, very tasty and fresh. Our service... More

If you're looking for "something different", then this is the place. The atmosphere is like eating in the Pirates of the Caribbean. Cuisine-wise, there are amazing selections of tapas that you can order over the course of an evening. Great place for a romantic meal.
