We visited Zambra with the group and had a family-style dinner which consisted of lots of courses in small servings. Everything was good, but I especially liked: Patatas Bravas (crispy potatoes), mixed greens salad, grilled shrimp and lentil salad with arugula. Their bread with house infused olive oil was amazing! Service was attentive, dishes were flowing at just the right... More

The food was great, only one of the 5 or 6 items we ordered was ok the rest was very good. Probably personal preference. Of course with tapas you are getting smaller portions but we had a nice little variety and a glass of sangria each and it was $50. The service was eh ok, the waitress was nice enough... More

My wife and I have been to Zambra, probably 10 times over the past 5 years. We really LOVE the menu here. The small plates allow you to order a lot of different dishes. What makes Zambra so great, in addition to the fun atmosphere, is that the food pairings and flavors are so very good. It isn't high-end gourmet... More

My wife and I chose Zambra based on the recommendation of local people. When first entering, we were unsure if it was the romantic atmosphere we were hoping for. They tucked us away in a corner and provided some wonderful dishes. Each one a had unique flavor and we were an blue to enjoy a wonderful evening after the music... More

This place has it all. Great food, service, atmosphere and location. I can't say enough about it. It's a must do when downtown. We'll keep going back for more.

Four of us went to Zambra last summer. The food was delicious. I loved selecting all of the small plates of various and interesting foods. The sangria was wonderful. I loved everything!

Been visiting Asheville for a number of years and for some reason Zambra has not made our list of places to eat. We've eaten at many great restaurants within downtown Asheville and Zambra stands out amongst our favorite, especially when it comes to tapas. We rarely eat at a restaurant more than once but Zambra was so good that we... More

We arrived early and they let us in. We had the Summer Sangria at the bar while we waited. A gentleman from the kitchen came up and talked to us he gave us his recommendations on the specials menu- I thought that was very cool of him to take time out and come talk to us. Food was incredible. Highly... More

This was our second time at Zambra and it was just as good as the first. The menu covers Mediterranean and eastern flavors across a variety of grains, vegetables, meats and fish. The ceviche was wonderful as was the warm chickpea salad. The ambience is nice as well, we sat in the narrow covered courtyard and it was very romantic.... More

We ate here on a recent Sunday night while in town visiting my parents. It is not the easiest place to find as it is on a small side street in downtown Asheville but definitely worth hunting for. It must have been before the summer influx of tourists as it was not crowded at all. My husband and I tried... More
