6 of us came to Zambra for a gastronomic experience and we got it. We had sashimi, lamb, duck, quail, pork cheeks, gnocchi, mushrooms and more. Wow! The wine and beer lists were great, too, and, Carin, our server, could not have been better. It's big, it's noisy but who cares when the food is so good?

Recently enjoyed an incredible dinner with my wife and sister in celebration of wife's birthday. I can't say enough good things about Zambra. From the staff to the food to the atmosphere. It all comes together for the best Tapas in Asheville.

Haven't been here in about 8 yrs and so glad we went twice this time. The special sheet lists about 20 items that are enticing. Our favorite was the pork cheek - ordered it twice. Beef heart was really delish, as was the cabbage salad with beets and feta. Sit at the bar and enjoy yourself. We were there earlyish... More

Love the atmosphere here. The food was fresh and wonderful. If you like tapas and not just the Spanish variety then you'll love this place. Highly recommend.

So glad we stumbled upon this fantastic place! We tried 6 different parts, all were superb. Wine choices were interesting, but paired well. Plus, they serve late! Would definitely return!

Enjoyed sampling tapas! My husband had never done this before. We had: Sesame crusted scallops Shrimp and grits Pork spring rolls Quail Flan They were all different and all delicious! The scallops were probably the most unique and flavorful. Our server was attentive and had great suggestions. Be careful, though, your bill will quickly add up!

The food and service was quite good; although nothing outstanding. I was really turned off my the sticky table that felt like it hadn't been washed in a while. Even with cleaning it….it still had a dirty feel!!

Had dinner at this unique Tapas restaurant which was referred by a foodie. The foodie said the pan fried trout was the she best had ever had; so good she dreamed about it. I understand the dream; fantastic! Other dishes were exceptional. Corrine, our wait person, was probably the best wait person i have EVER experienced in any level restaurant... More

Went here for dinner. Food was excellent. Great Spanish wines also. Tuna meatballs were outstanding. Pork spring rolls were superb and the Tilefish was fantastic. Ate at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

Very romantic setting. Koko was our server who worked around my nut and seafood allergies. This restaurant offers small plates or large-tapa style. We enjoyed Mushrooms, gnocchi, Pan Rustico and Chop salad. They do have Ice tea which was the only downfall for me as I cannot drink alcohol. They have Pepsi products. Would go her again when in the... More
