I'm an Asheville native, and have been to this amazing restaurant many times, never leaving without a feeling of amazement and delight. My wife and I have had two of the most romantic and perfect dates ever at Zambra... it does live up to Asheville's "most romantic" restaurant, especially if you can reserve one of the more private grotto seating... The wife and I wanted Tapa's while in Asheville and happened upon this spot on Opentable during my search. The reviews were all relatively good.. even those of the "only come here if Curate is booked" which might have put some people off. Do not be put off! This was one of the best meals we have had, anywhere. We... More

Made a reservation for a Friday night. Waited at the bar for a few minutes and enjoyed a martini. Atmosphere is awesome! We sat in a cozy spot with cushions and throw pillows. They had live music as well. Loved the variety of the menu. Honestly, it's a been over a year since I visited and I thought I had... More

An upscale Tapas restaurant that everybody enjoyed. There was a wide variety of selection to satisfy everyone's tastes. Great atmosphere. It definitely should be on your short list in Asheville. Make a reservation.

This was my second time eating at Zambra. I think the atmosphere is a little better than the food. It's very cozy and a great place to share a meal and conversation. Food is good, but I wouldn't say it was life changing!

Decent food, but its not Spanish Tapas in the traditional sense. But a lot of choices on the menu. Very unique I think. Well worth a visit when in Asheville. I had mostly seafood items. All were good.

Tonight's dinner was my fourth experience at Zambra. It has been consistent and never short of impressive. The drinks are unique and worth the expense. I had the Autumn Sweater and it was wonderful. My lady had the Perfect Pear martini and in a word it's fresh. The patatas bravas is a staple of every trip. We always also start... More

This tapas restaurant has an excellent bar and comfortable seating in spaces that are close to other patrons but still fairly private. Bar drinks are well-made and the wine selections are quite good. They take reservations, but drop-in can work up until about 7 p.m. when the place gets pretty full. There are two municipal parking lots close by, and... More

Everything we had was tasty! There were some ingredients we normally don't like alone, but they tasted great with the flavor combinations. Fun place to eat.
