I can't say enough about this darling restaurant. We ate on an upper terrace, surrounded by the gorgeous trees and local art. We highly recommend a meal outside in cooperative weather.

This experience at this restaurant was probably one of the worst ever. The price for a half of a sandwich and a cup of soup was $13. The sandwich choices were nothing special and the soup which was supposed to be a seafood chowder had only potatoes in it. The sandwich was barely there with a smear of tuna or... More

The morning after our son's wedding we hosted a Farewell Brunch here for 100+ guests. Larry and Sandy put together a wonderful buffet of both traditional and not so traditional breakfast items (including cheesy grits and a delicious blend of roasted beets). It was early Sunday morning and our guests had the run of the entire place! Then they opened... More

On a recent visit to the Grove Park Inn, we were strolling through the Grovewood area and happened in to the Grovewood Café for lunch. Sitting inside, we were delighted with our lunches at this quaint eatery. I went for the vegetable plate special which was delicious. My husband was very happy with his sandwich and soup. Very good menu,... More

The cafe is in a storybook cottage . Visit the gallery, museum and gardens then have lunch or dinner at the cafe. The menu is limited, but what is offered is done well. Service staff are charming. My only critique would be the very plain decor inside , perhaps the craft gallery artisans could display some of their work .

This is a lovely, quiet, neighborhood type cafe on the grounds of The Grove Park Inn. Our food was excellent, but our waitress was not attentive. She brought water without ice, and we had to ask twice for that. She said she did not know how to make a Manhattan on the Rocks, so I instructed her and when it... More

Very hard to find in the dark, but, worth the search. The food was excellent and the staff very polite and nice. I had the trout which was prefect, and the potatoes were done just right. We skipped desert as we had already been there almost 2 hours. From the time we ordered it took almost 45 minutes for the... More

We were so looking forward to having dinner at the Grovewood Cafe. The historic building is wonderfully quaint. As we walked from our car to the entrance, we were excited to see the interior. What a disappointment! There is a complete disconnect between the exterior and the interior of the restaurant. There are interesting prints and memorabilia of the Grove... More
