The food for most of our group of 10 was excellent. A few had poorly prepared dishes....meat that was tough, or not to temperature. I don't drink wine, but those who did couldn't get what they wanted to order off the list.....they only had one bottle, or they were out, etc. The waiter was attempting to make suggestions but the... Interested in a pleasant evening of live piano music and delicious, authentic Italian food? Try Vincenzo’s on North Market Street. You will be welcomed by the staff, including Dwight, the owner. You will be charmed by the ambiance, for this is not a Tunnel Road experience. You will be delighted with the food, all well prepared, all served correctly –... More

We have not be to this place in a few years. Busing raising a family. We went this past Saturday night. Things looked pretty much the same as I remember from our last visit. It is a small elegant place. We ate down stairs in the piano bar. Only a few other couples were there. On couple must have been on... More

We went to this restaurant for dinner, their advertising is great but the actual results are disappointing. The mozzarella is not fresh, it looked like sliced cheese from the national providers. The pasta sauce tasted old with a lot of preservatives. The prosciutto was actually little ham chunks and tasted horrible. I have lived in Northern Italy and this food... More

Vincenzo's is a hidden treasure in downtown Asheville. It opens for evening meals only and is so worth the wait. The bar will mix anything you want and the food was fabulous! A true original Italian restaurant! The owner is so very friendly and the piano player, priceless. Prices are very reasonable. Try this place for your next romantic dinner!

After dropping our daughter off at college, we decided to spend the night in Asheville and after looking online at restaurants in the downtown area, we chose Vincenzo's since we love Italian food. Location is fine and convenient to exploring, but our experience was filled with highs and lows. The upstairs dining room, which tries to be elegant with white... More

Dinner here with friends just the other night:4 appetizers, 4 entrees, and only one of the eight dishes ( Chicken Saltimboca) was considered worth the price. Our Montepulciano wine was very good, but should have been at $51/ bottle. Worst of all was the bread: Reminded us all more if a Wonder ℗ Bread than of what should be in... More

We went here based on trip advisor reviews. What a disappointment. We arrived around 8 pm, and were seated promptly. We ordered our dinner within 15 or 20 minutes after looking at the menu. We had an appetizer of fried calamari and then each had a pasta dish. While the wait staff was attentive, bringing bread and olive oil with... More

Our guests were seated at 8:15 on a busy Thursday (two large parties seated approximately the same time and our downstairs Bistro completely full). They took some time over the wine selection, and ordered appetizers at 8:41 pm. Our guests chose to hold their entree order until the appetizer arrived. My server checked on the table repeatedly. At the end... More

Superior cuisine and serviced compromised by infrastructure and design defects. Talented musician at piano didn't need an amplifier that Went Up To Eleven, especially with glass, mirrors, stone, and hardwood in the acoustic mix.
