The Italian dishes that we ordered were very average (spaghetti and gnocchi). The mozarella on the bruschetta was super smokey tasting. The tiramisu was really good. more

i was with a friend in asheville and we unknowningly wander into vincenzo's. the "12 year old" host seated up in the downstairs piano bar. we sat for about 2-3 minutes and tried not to bust out laughing. as no one had approached our table, we decided to quickly exit. i really have no idea about the food, service, or... more

Four of us ate dinner at Vincenzo's on a Sunday evening in May. We ate in the upstairs dining room which turned out a blessing since there was a piano player in the downstairs lounge and bar area who should have stuck to playing the piano and given up on the singing. The service was very good and the atmosphere... more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a good meal in a good atmosphere on a recent trip to Asheville. I read a lot of reviews on this and other sites to decide where to go. I have been to Asheville many times but I was looking for less of a drinking/bar scene and more of a nice restaurant this... more

SERVICE The service was GREAT! But, AVOID the piano bar. I agree with the other people about the singer. HE STINKS! I mean, his singing is TERRIBLE. The bar is smoky and loud. Upstairs is a totally different story. Calm and relaxing, but a little more light upstairs would have been nice. It was almost too dark. FOOD Very good... more

Dined there on Sat 11/29. We had a large party of 9 people. Our server (a young male w/ blonde hair) was excellent. We were tended to often by him and others. The food was good. The server recommended a mussel appeitizer special. It was excellent. Most restaurants label things "spicy" but for my tastes they tend to be too... more

We were a little nervous about trying this place out, as some reviews have been lukewarm. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. We had 7:30pm reservations in the upstairs restaurant and were promptly taken up to our table. The atmosphere upstairs was warm and ambient - much more so than the online pictures from their website. We liked the... more

There are great restaurants in Asheville, but this one is not even close. The food is HORRIBLE salty, rotten, and staff provides no service. We watched people being ignored all night while we waited for an eternity to be served food that was so bad we could not eat it. The atmosphere is absurd with a frog boy "singing "at... more

Vincenzo's was recommended by clerk at Sheraton. It was very close, only a block or two away from the hotel. We enjoyed our experience. The waiter was very friendly and prompt. They have an extensive wine list from $20 to $200 bottles. I liked that they offered regular and small sized portions. The small portion was perfect for me. Our... more

My second dinner in Asheville was at Vincenzo’s (for my first dinner, check my other reviews). It was a nice experience: great atmosphere, decent but slightly erratic service, pretty good food, and excellent wine. Overall, I’d give it 3 stars for the food, adding an extra star for the unexpectedly good wine list and knowledgeable discussion about wine. I started... more
