We have eaten dinner here twice. It is a very cozy atmosphere with decent food. Service was average but we love the upstairs. I would go back in a heart beat and love the at home cottage feel. I have had the salmon and pasta dishes as well as gnochi all very good.

Very old building which seemed cozy enough. Service was so so. We had to add salt and pepper to the olive oil dip to give the bread enough flavor. My husband had the beef carpaccio to start, which was not noteworthy. We ordered Alfredo and a chicken dish. My Alfredo smelled strongly of burnt garlic and tasted close to the... More

Don't pass up this place up. There are many places to eat at in Asheville, this place offers the best authentic Italian food hands down. The Lasagna is a must, not to mention the Formaggi starter. Nice ambiance. I'll be back for sure!!!

Everyone's meal was delicious and we needed for... More

Place: Two floors - :Lower level has piano, bar and tables, upstairs has tables only. Nice atmosphere. Warm soft lighting and exposed brick walls. Food: The tomato soup was incredible. A touch of cream, and a swirl of balsamic gave it the right balance of sweet, tangy and hearty. My partner, who is not a fan of tomatoes or tomato... More

Great atmosphere, very relaxing restaurant. Moderately priced, delicious food. Our waitress was very friendly and was able to answer our questions about menu items. In an old downtown building. Recommended by our hotel consierge.

The good- bread wine. THE BAD-Smells bad inside. Rude service, very little food for big price. Every thing is microwaved. Cold food. leaves dirty dishes on table . Waited 10 minutes for menus, (only 4 tables including us) 2 waiters... Very disappointed. . If visit Ashville, dine elsewhere.

We stumbled upon this gem of an Italian restaurant with all the charm of Little Italy in NYC. Food was great, waiter outstanding, great piano player and attentive host - What more could you ask for?

This is as close to an authentic Italian restaurant as we've found in Asheville. Having traveled to Italy and dined in a number of restaurants there, we found this to be very close to those in Florence!!. Wait staff are excellent and attentive. Unique and delicious menu selections. We prefer the piano bar downstairs and have always been seated within... More
