Beer is plentiful and very tasty

We are from NY and first time in Asheville. Heard about this from AAA staff while getting maps. The place is a bit of a dive inside (and outside is the same) but seems to be a big locals hangout. Our waitress was VERY attentive and friendly, Minna. She offered to bring 4 samples and was very... read more

The boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place looking for a place we could bring our dog. Centrally located, tasty beer, and on Tuesday's it's only $2.50 for one of their canned beers or a big slice of pizza. Great deal! The owners/staff were all very friendly and it was a great atmosphere!

Do not rob yourself of not going to this restaurant. The staff is super helpful and kind. The beer is awesome. The merchandise for the brewery is stunningly witty and awesome! There are tons of different types of pizza. It was so good, my wife and our friends went back to back nights when we visited. Go to Asheville Brewery,... More

Good place to try if you have time to try a number of breweries in Asheville, but don't make this the only one. Wicked Weed and Lexington Avenue would rate higher in my opinion overall. We had a good sampler flight of beers - this is what you go for. The service was average - not bad. Atmosphere during the... More

I asked if they did flights of beer, they said yes, but they didn't feel like doing them. And I quote "we're kinda busy, I don't really feel serving them." I have sympathy for servers when it is busy, but that attitude is inappropriate. Also, it was busy, but the bar area was so small, and there were more than... More

Like the title states, the Shiva IPA is excellent. Took my kids and wife and they loved the place. There pizza is some of the best in Asheville and thats among some stiff competition.

My girlfriend and I shared the Cheese Burger in Paradise pizza. It sounded like an interesting selection. It was awesome. The crust is great and the toppings paired well. Drank several of their beer. All the beer here is awesome, I would highly recommend it.

While there's nothing blatantly extraordinary about this place, it's really pretty special. In addition to some pretty terrific beer and food, I really enjoyed and appreciated the time, effort, and imagination that obviously went into naming the dishes and composing the menu--that sort of thing leaves an impression on me. My fellow diners both got cheeseburgers and cleaned their plates.... More

Great spot for pizza and local craft beer. The pizza was delicious and well priced, and there were a ton of in-house brews to choose from. Excellent service, but be prepared to wait for a little while.

This is a fantastic place to stop on a beercation. This was our first of 6 brewery stops and definitely one of my favorites. I was able to drink great beer, sit at a bar, and watch the Carolina game. An added bonus is that this brewery serves beer flights with 5 beers and will serve half pints if you... More
