If you're in one of the hotels near the Biltmore, check out this popular local favorite, right up W. Hendersonville road on the south side of route 40 instead of going to a chain restauant. Pizza was pretty good, loaded with extra cheese. They also deliver to your hotel. Enjoy!

While traveling in Asheville family friends insisted we try Apollo Flame. We had 12 people along with kids of all ages. We all tried something different on the menu and shared our meals. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and helpful, recommending various menu items and our glass were always full and prices beyond reasonable. Did I mention how... More

Had a dinner here one evening July 2014. The restaurant is Greek and Italian. We were seated out on the porch, which was really quite nice. Fortunately the one group dining near us which had a loud screeching child (not a baby) left shortly after we arrived. We both had gyros, which were very good. Our waitress was attentive to... More

This Greek restaurant is very good. There is a home style about it that tells you that the food and the service are provided by people who really care about your dining experience. Portions are large and well prepared. Service is very good. When I am in Asheville again, I will be sure to eat here again.

We visited on a Friday night. There was a long line despite it being after 8p. The service and the food were good but as a Greek, I was surprised that the selection of Greek food choices was limited.

Just visited this restaurant because it was listed in "Asheville Area Eats & Drinks". The salad was served before the appetizer. Wine on the menu was minimal, but manager offered other suggestions that did not appear on the menu. The waitress was clueless. When asked how the trout was prepared, the waitress said "fried", I asked if that meant "deep... More

The Apollo Flame has great food and great service and it is a family run restaurant, so they care about how the food is and how the service was.

We went to lunch as a family at the Apollo Flame Bistro. We had the Greek Meatballs, the Greek Spaghetti, and Italian Spaghetti. The Greek Meatballs were covered in marinara sauce, mozzarella and feta. They were awesome! Very nice service! I wish there was one where we live.
