It's all veggies here, and that's a great thing, when done right. The menu certainly sounds delicious, but we received some inconsistencies. It started with the jalapeño onion fries, which were overcooked. The waitress wouldn't admit it, which was ironic considering the same order across from us came out several shades lighter. Afterwards, my wife had the sweet potatoe tacos,... More

Open and airy restaurant with a friendly and efficient staff. I had a Laughing Seed Salad that was very generous in size and loaded with sprouts, seeds, greens, peppers, tomatoes and broccoli. It was amazingly fresh and crunchy and the champagne vinaigrette was a nice zesty addition. I paired the salad with the soup of the day which was a... More

This is probably the worst meal I've had in my life. I'm on a strict diet and I like to eat clean. To be fair, I do not blame the restaurant or the cooks at all. But wow. Avoid the zucchini pesto manicotti. The description given on the menu made it sound wonderful. I think what made this dish unbearable... More

We were visiting Asheville last Saturday on a day trip and wanted to eat really good vegetarian food. It had been years since we had been to Laughing Seed mainly because we don't get to Asheville often to spend time and eat. The food was wonderful; very creative and plentiful. My hubby had a burrito that was loaded with veggies... More

Unique and delicious cocktails and entrees! My pregnant friend was so happy to have a thoughtful nonalcoholic drink menu full of cocktails and tinctures to choose from as well. Will return in a future visit.

Honestly this was the only place with out a long wait for brunch. It would be fantastic for a Vegetarian, unfortunately we were all meat eaters. Tofu, wheat sausage, and shitake bacon is not for everyone. It was good, but different. If you are a vegetarian, I highly recommend it.

I must admit that I am taking some liberties with the title. I only know for certain that there is a wonderful assortment and that the food my wife and I had was fantastic. :-) It was tough to decide between many menu items that made my mouth water (I'm not a vegetarian, but my brain didn't seem to mind... Overall, the experience was worthwhile. Our food was delicious and the server was very polite and friendly. The only issue was that we checked in first on the list and 3 parties came in after us and we're seated first. The hostess asked us who we were again, after she seated two other parties. Once we were seated, the service... More

We popped in here for a drink and appetizers. The place was pretty busy but the bar had open spots so we opted to sit there instead of wait. The service was great and the food was amazing. It was hard to decide what to get because everything sounded great. We will be going back soon for sure
