Good Lunch

We aren't full-fledged vegetarian, but lean in this direction more often than not, so every time we have this opportunity in a restaurant choice we'll give it a try. We absolutely loved this place. All the food had a very different twist to it. The burrito I ate had Mexican, Indian and Asian flavors in it. And it was great. All the dishes were experimental and great. And it was an extremely popular restaurant, as could be judged by the long queue to get in. I've recommended this place... More

Some of the best vegetarian food I've had. Four of us had lunch and each chose a different item. Everything was excellent. Good service and nice atmosphere. We all agreed that the veggie raw manicotti was the overall best.

What a treat to find a restaurant totally committed to vegetarianism and in a wonderfully innovative and delicious way that appeals to the omnivores in your party as well. I look forward to eating here every time I am in Asheville and pray the owners will consider opening up locations in other cities.

Our family of four ate at the Laughing Seed recently and was not disappointed. This second visit has cemented it as our favorite all-time vegetarian restaurant. The Good: + I can't get enough of the Thai Panang Seitan Curry. This is still the best vegan meal I've ever had at a restaurant + Harmony Bowl had a sesame ginger sauce... More

Whether you are vegetarian or not, this the place you have to try at least once in Asheville. All the meals we ordered were so delicious and filling. Staff were quite efficient and attentive. Prices were quite affordable for such amazing meals.

Loved loved loved this place. My cohort wanted to go to the early girl, but I won rock paper scissors, plus we waited for 45 min before they told us they would need another 30 min. No thanks. Laughing Seed offered such a wonderful, flavorful breakfast. I had the Benedict and a side of potatoes. We all tried a different... More

Took a day trip down to asheville and ended up here. Im a vegetarian and my boyfriend is not but hes always down for trying interesting foods. He got the vegan reuben and said it was better than any rebeun that hes had with meat on it. I had a veggie bowl with rice and beans and everything was just... More
