first time I ate here it was great. this last time was closer to average. not sure why and hope it gets better b/c I like this restaurant. Had shrimp and grits and the grits were bland and my date had meatloaf which was too salty. seemed just a bit off.

Great place, very busy but service was top-notch. Try the goat-cheese grits and shrimp. Can't wait to go back!

The Tupelo Honey Cafe is a really neat place with outstanding food and service, but they don't take reservations, so get there early or stand in line outside.

A must visit in Asheville. Great food, great service and reasonable prices. My wife and I had an late lunch midweek and the place was busy. The local dishes are great and the server was a pleasure.

Our favorite time to visit the Tupelo Honey Café is for a late breakfast; the food is fresh, well prepared, and promptly served. The wait can be long after noon, but there are interesting shops nearby to browse. Servings are large, so go when you are hungry--or do some sharing.
