During a 4 day visit to Asheville we found Edna's to be a welcoming, comfortable stop for a quick sandwich, soup, coffee and great dessert and bakery treats. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food was fresh, the soups were homemade and the desserts were awesome.

Very good food, freshly prepared I guess, but lunch service sooooo slow. Twenty minutes for a breakfast sandwich and a salad ???

Edna's has great coffees and food, but the atmosphere is what keeps me coming back for more. Artsy, relaxed, cozy and comfortable. Indoor and outdoor seating, never a long wait, attentive staff. Definitely worth visiting if you are in North Asheville.

Early risers take note! Charming, casual place and very friendly staff. Good menu with some gourmet "twists" on standard fare. Fireplace for those infrequently chilly Asheville days:-) Great music! Love and support these independent establishments!

Good place to have a quick breakfast. Food was great. Lox and bagels good as was the burrito. Seems like a local hangout. Met nice people there, who told us places to visit that we would not have thought of. Staff was good.

We go here fairly frequently for the coffee. It's a nice alternative to the national chains. It's especially nice in Winter with the fireplace on.

Great place for a family lunch. The food and atmosphere were great. I had the turkey and cheese and the kids had grilled cheese. Great coffee too.

Its a comfortable laid back place, but it takes forever to get your drink made. At least 15 minutes to get a cappo and they were not that busy

Edn'as has four or five types of freshly-roasted coffee on hand at any given time. I still haven't tried them all, but I intend to. Since it is warm outside, I have been really hooked on their cold brew iced coffee. It is so smooth! When I am in this part of town, I go to Edna's drive-through for a... More
