Great Food; Still wishing they would re-open for lunch

I have been told by people in the restaurant business that they prefer not to open for lunch, and the only reason they do it is to build up their dinner trade. Well, I'm a sad lunch-goer because I love Plant, but live on the other side of town, so I never go there anymore - too far to travel... read more

Absolutely fantastic! If I lived here I would eat here at least once a week. The food was flavorful and better than I was expecting. Yes, its a little pricey. This is a fine dining restaurant though. And to find VEGAN fine dining is hard to find. Vegetarian sure, but they know how to prepare excellent vegan food. My mouth... More

We had the plantain, jerusalem artichokes, chili con queso, and the uttapam for our main meal/apps and they were fantastic! Our dessert choices were the Blondie Brownie and Creme Brûlée. Every single thing was incredible. Even if you don't eat vegan, this is an excellent meal. Our waitress was pleasant, patient, and just attentive enough without hovering. We ate on... More

This tiny vegan gourmet restaurant is amazing. Food flavors are complex and very fine, hubby and I enjoyed every mouthful and service was superior. $100 for two with wine. Make sure you reserve a table ahead of time!!! Pictured is dessert, soy cream canoli with beet icecream

Not a vegetarian, but enjoyed the food; hostess/waitron seemed a bit full of herself. Otherwise, an enjoyable meal.

One in our party is vegetarian, the other is not. However, as the none veg, I have to say that every item we ordered was exceptionally delicious. This was vegetarian food that is very creative, not vegetarian food that is trying to imitate non-veg food. I have been to vegetarian restaurants in the US and Europe, and this one was... More

I'm typically a "meatiterrian" so I was worried, but all for not. This dinner was BANGIN'! Porto house and the cheese were terrific.

First of all, there are no veggie burgers here. This is a not a restaurant that caters to people who want ordinary food but just without meat. This is a restaurant that opens up your palate to the array of flavors and textures in the plant kingdom. And what an array it is! The menu is not large, but it... More

This was our first visit to Plant. I am not a vegan but love vegetables so I had high expectations. Plant delivered several delicious dishes to us and all met everyones expectations. We had the beets, avocado salad, broccoli, and artichokes, for appetizers. I could have stopped there but wanted to try the portobello entrees. It was amazing. My husband... More

very small intimate restaurant with excellent service. My first time to eat at a totally Vegan Restaurant and was not disappointed. I am a pescatarian, but my children eat meat. We were all happy with each of the dishes we chose and shared with each other. Please make reservations. We didn't and had over an hour wait. We decided to... More
