I always eat here at least once while visiting my son (vegan) in Asheville. The food is amazing even for non vegetarians/vegans. All dishes have a light and fresh touch using local ingredients. Save room for their homemade "ice cream" (vegan friendly).

Casual, open kitchen, and good service. Since we're not vegan, the meal was a new and delicious experience for us. Staff was friendly and knowledgable and we didn't feel like "fish out of water"! Even if you're a "meat and potatoes kind of person, try this restaurant......you won't be disappointed and your taste buds will thank you!

My wife and I have dined at Plant many times, both as a couple and with friends. Never a mediocre experience, always top shelf. We've tried different menu items as well as the specials and have never once been disappointed. Food, service, local, offerings and setting... all top notch. We'll return often.

The food was quite good but the sauces really put everything over the top. There were 4 of us, we each ordered something different and passed the plates around, I still crave the Chicken of the Woods, we all felt healthier when we left.

We had a wonderful rissotto and kale salad topped with anise chocolate ice cream. Good service, nice ambience with an open kitchen concept. Didnt try the wine or beer selection but its a great place to kick back and relax.

The cheese platter was fantastic. I swear that it was a lot like real cheese and had a great texture. They serve it with this wonderful grilled bread that goes well with the cheese. The desserts are divine - ice cream made with coconut, and unusual flavors - ginger lemongrass and anise chocolate. The entrees were inventive and delicious. Any... More

Not too big of a place, which we liked. The food, obviously vegan, was incredible and there were plenty of options for different palates!

We ate at Plant 2 years ago and it was great so we decided to try it again this trip. The food was still fantastic. We had the cheese plate and plantains as appetizers and you cannot go wrong! We also had the Kale and sweet potato salad, the Chicken O'The Wood, and the Portohouse. For dessert we selected the... More

We had an excellent meal at Plant. My husband, daughter and I shared 2 entrees and a salad. We had the kale and blossom salad, the "porto house" and the "live enchilada". Everything was presented nicely and you can tell the menu options were creatively and thoughtfully considered. The decor is modern and comfortable. I am a soup lover; however,... More

I have the port'o house and my husband had the hummus. Both dishes were very delicious. Entrees were about $18-20.
