Newly Veg Curious, this was my first totally vegan restaurant experience. The menu offered interesting fare from which I chose the risotto The service was good but the wait for our meal was a bit long. As to the experiment, vegetarian suits me better for now.

Wow! For a vegetarian coming from a carnivore friendly environment (DC), Plant had me singing its praises from the moment I tried the appetizer. The menu rotates constantly based upon fresh ingredients. A must for us vegetarians!

Yes. This is the best vegan restaurant on earth. No exaggeration. I am vegetarian and my husband vegan (both pescetarian too) our kids wat everything but go along with us to vegan restaurants. Usually we need to give them "regular food" after but not this time. The interpretation of vegetables at Plant has to be amongst the most unique in... More

My wife and I stopped by Plant on the search for a gluten free, dairy free dessert for my wife, and she got a brownie with ice cream. The restaurant seemed classy and her dessert was artsy. I had a bite and thought it was great. Cost about $8.

I love everything about this place. The outdoor eating area is nice, the servers were friendly, and the food was out of this world. Although it is not a huge menu, there is a wide variety of unique options. I highly reccomend starting off with the hummus. There's enough food to share if you get an appetizer and a meal... More

The food was amazing. The owner/chef used to work at Candle 79 in NYC. You can definitely see the influence, and would say some dishes at Plant are better! The peppercorn seitan dish blew my mind and couldn't get enough of the plantains. Plant also makes their own nut cheese served with berries which was well worth ordering. If you're... More

The level of quality and attention to detail in each food preparation on each plate is over the top here & proof that eating plant based vegan doesn't have to be boring! If you are a true foodie, vegan or not, you will want to try Plant. Chef/Owner Ben is the genius behind it all and his staff is as... More

This is a small restaurant but well worth eating at even if you are not vegan/vegetarian. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient, and went out of her way to make our visit a pleasant one. Some of their flavor combinations seemed a little strange and unusual to me, but the food we ordered was delicious. The fried plantains were... More

My husband is a pescatarian and we eat that way often, however, I do enjoy a good steak on occasion, so choosing a vegan restaurant was a slight stretch for me. But knowing that most of all I LOVE well prepared food from people who think it matters that they use great ingredients and present them in the most appealing... More

My husband and I ate there two days ago. It took almost an hour to get our main course and the restaurant was not full. My risotto was bland and tasteless. This is our second bad experience there in the past two months. We will not be returning. SH-Asheville
