Hit and miss, proceed with caution.

The atmosphere is great, none of the chairs match and the light fixtures are all unique. The bathroom has a cool cast concrete sink. The food was either really good or really sad. The macaroni and cheese was amazing, I would rank it in my personal top 10. The Perfect Storm Mojito was great... read more

the chef is amazing, with beautiful delicate dishes, amazing quality and served to precision. They used all fresh food, from local farms, and you can tell. The new shrimp dish is to die for, and never wanting to taste grits until i experienced storms grits...I'm a believer. Then comes the drinks, the devil oasis, it's not just a drink, it's... More

It has a nice feel to the restaurant, smallish and cozy. I enjoy the wine menu. For me it has a nice variety with out feeling too pricey. ($7 and $8 per glass...low end of the price range for Asheville). We tried the bacon boiled peanuts..with alleppo pepper(?)..honestly I haven't tried too many boiled peanuts and this didn't make me... More

I am visiting family in Asheville and we decided to try out this restaurant. I had shortrib with parsnips and carrots that was pretty good. For the price (about $26 for the shortrib) I expected it to be outstanding, but the food was something I would maybe go to eat again. Our appetizers (veal sweetcakes and octopus) were just okay,... We went to Storm & Rhum tonight before the Ann Dunn/Asheville Ballet production of The Nutcracker, which was excellent. I enjoyed my cheeseburger (a good value at $12.50 with fries), Absolut on the rocks ($6.50) and a glass of special Christmas pale ale draft ($5). The burger may not be up to Atlanta's Holeman & Finch standards, but it was... More

We booked reservation with Storm based on their ability to provide a celiac friendly meal for Thanksgiving. We were well received from the beginning and throughout the menu planning with the chef. Upon arrival we were greeted and served by a wonderful staff and the meal was outstanding. In fact it was the best turkey I have ever eaten. All... More

I have been to this restaurant on three different occasions. Once with just me and my wife and two times with a large group of people (my staff). The atmosphere is very relaxed and somewhat eclectic, yet at the same time you could feel comfortable here in nice dressy casual attire. The menu changes but every time I was there... More

You were the first person we met when we started our saturday adventure tour in Asheville.....so kind, so welcoming....you made sure we parked safely, toured the lovely restaurant not yet even open for the day and let us pick out a special table to return from our adventures. Although Owen cooked us up a spectacular lamb burger and steak dinner... More
