Went to the Storm Rhum Bar after reading excellent reviews. This was an early dinner before a concert. The restaurant was not crowded, noise level low. Easy walk from our hotel. Our server Lauren was very knowledgeable of the menu items and attentive as well. Her suggestion of a clam appetizer and seared tuna on special were ordered. The clams... More

We ate dinner at Storm. The building is cool and the lighting is dim. Most entree's start at 20$ or so. My group ordered several bottles of wine, a cheese plate, a meat plate, and boiled peanuts to start. The meat and cheese plate were wonderful for a larger group or for two people to share as their entree'. They... More

We travelled to Asheville at the peak of "leaf looker" season, meaning it was even more crowded than normal in downtown. We ventured off the beaten path for cocktails on a Saturday night. Right across the street from the Orange Peel sat this gem of a place. It was quite chilly outside (Late October) but if it wasn't, we would... More

You best have a reservation for this one! The food and drinks were delicious and innovative. Plate presentations were artistic and appetizing. We were there as a party of four. All of the dishes were sampled by all members of the group and none were disappointment to any one. The Red Wattle Pork Chop was hands down the best we... More

We love eating at Storm Rhum Bar & Bistro. They always surprise us with new and exciting food selections and cocktails. The lobster bisque and octopus appetizers (separate dishes) were first rate. And our dinner of scallops was clearly some of the best we've ever had. Oh, did I mention cocktails. We've yet to be disappointed with any of their... More

I would think for a $10.00 drink I would taste the alcohol, not so, had to order a shot on the side so it was a $20.00 drink. Ridiculous.

Service is what sets this restaurant apart and very inventive, delicious cuisine. Great cozy atmosphere too. Loved the cheese plate appetizer as well as amazing Mac and cheese appetizer. My spare rib entrée was sublime. I was their early with my kids for dinner. Probably not the best place to go with kids, but rather on a date or to... More

Finally visited over our Christmas vacation. Ordered the scallops which weren't the most expensive thing in the menu surprisingly. While they were cooked perfectly, the overall plate was tiny. Along with everyone else's in our party minus the person that ordered a burger. Great atmosphere but if you're hungry I would skip.

We have been quit a few times and have had an enjoyable experience each time. The food is so good and is not just one kind of food. We had a Vegan with us who went away happy, Burger friend thought it was the best burger ever, and I loved the little glass of milk served with the dessert. The... More

A dark little place, but tasty and quite eclectic food. Great service. Wonderful cocktails and extremely good wine. A splendid time was had by all. And our dog, yogi, thoroughly enjoyed the left-over pig ears. Yum!!
