Small but Excellent

Small restaurant and bar, excellent atmosphere and decor and the food was good as well. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent time was held by all in our large party.

I met some friends who were staying at ALoft and we strolled down the street to check out Storm. The ambience kind of grabs you when you walk in and you just want to chill with a cocktail. They had lamb pate this evening and I had to try it, I mean, it's lamb liver pate! It was really very... More

It has been a few years since we went to this place but the memories are still strong and pleasant and given the recent reviews this restaurant has continued to get better. The menu is creative and fun as are the drinks menu all of which is inspired by the rhum theme. The food is great quality too and we... More

Randomly came across this place while wandering around Asheville. It's a block or two away from the ever popular Wicked Weed, but since it isn't on the main thoroughfare, it wasn't as crazy as other places which was nice. Came here Friday and Saturday nights and had the same bartender, Doug, both nights. He makes the best Moscow Mule in... More

My boyfriend and I were visiting Asheville for the night and decided to go on a "bar crawl" and were told that this place had the best bartender in town. They weren't kidding! My boyfriend wanted me to try a traditional South American drink which they unfortunately didn't have on the menu anymore. The bartender, however, made it anyway with... More

What can I say about Storm Rhum Bar & Bistro except VERY GOOD food and drink. It's a fun night with friends, family, and business associates. I've been to Storm Rhum Bar & Bistro several times and each time I am happy with what I order and drink. Service is also very good.

The atmosphere is great, none of the chairs match and the light fixtures are all unique. The bathroom has a cool cast concrete sink. The food was either really good or really sad. The macaroni and cheese was amazing, I would rank it in my personal top 10. The Perfect Storm Mojito was great according to my wife; I found... More

the chef is amazing, with beautiful delicate dishes, amazing quality and served to precision. They used all fresh food, from local farms, and you can tell. The new shrimp dish is to die for, and never wanting to taste grits until i experienced storms grits...I'm a believer. Then comes the drinks, the devil oasis, it's not just a drink, it's... More

It has a nice feel to the restaurant, smallish and cozy. I enjoy the wine menu. For me it has a nice variety with out feeling too pricey. ($7 and $8 per glass...low end of the price range for Asheville). We tried the bacon boiled peanuts..with alleppo pepper(?)..honestly I haven't tried too many boiled peanuts and this didn't make me... More
