Not Just a Taco

A coworker recommended this spot and I couldn't wait to check it out. If you go here thinking you are getting Taco Bell tacos you are sadly mistaken. The location in the river arts district has a laid back and cool vibe. The best taco is the plain old fish taco. All we sampled were good, but the fish taco was out of this world. I also recommend the chip and salsa sampler.

We tried bahn mi tofu, steak and cheese, Thai peanut - all very good. Very casual. Expect a line, but it goes fast. Enjoy a local beer or top shelf margarita while you wait. Outdoor patio, pottery and jewelry shops next door. Don't miss this - so worth a visit if you like a creative take on tortilla filled goodness!

While visiting family last fall my husband and I ate a White Duck Taco. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I had a hard time deciding because there were so many great choices! I got the jerk chicken and bulgolgi tacos which were scrumptious. Reasonably priced and full of flavor one would definitely be smart to make the... More

Went here for lunch after a hike and they don't have basic ground meat tacos but instead have flavors like Korean beef bulgogi, Thai chicken, and duck which eere the 3 flavors we enjoyed. There was plenty of seating outside and we enjoyed the atmosphere and food.

We ate there before attending a show at the Diane Wortham theatre and I really enjoyed it alot. I ordered a chicken peanut thai sort of thing and it was delicious. My only complaint was that the filing was a bit skimpy. I'd rather pay a bit more for what I had and be able to stuff my tacos full,... More

We were exploring the art district and when it came to lunch we had picked three places from the brochure. This one was the winner for no other reason than there was just something about the name...anyway, we walked up to the restaurant and there was a long line out of the door. This is an area of town that... More

Very unique atmosphere. We love the buffalo chicken tacos....can't get enough. To my knowledge all of the tacos are soft shell. Outdoor and indoor seating. Not much space on the inside, but picnic tables with umbrellas outside. Get there early or you will wait in a line for your lunch. It is best to order at least two at a... More
