Fits the Bill.

Great trio of red, pink, and green salsas to go with chips. Fish taco was fresh and outstanding. Informal patio of picnic benches by arts center is the place to ears. Very reasonably priced and tasty. I will come again.

At first the parking lot looked sketchy but then it turned into this college artsy place where people go to hang out. The food was delicious but the tacos were expensive, each order comes with one taco. It would have been better if the order came with at least three. I would come back. Just don't go into the bathrooms

I didn't realize there were two locations for White Duck Taco Shop until we had already been to the original River Arts District location and stumbled on the one in downtown Asheville the next day. I'm glad we went to the original spot, since it's off the beaten path and an obvious favorite with the locals. Our favorites included the... More

Great place for lunch at the River Arts district. I think it is impossible to go wrong with any of their offerings. Be forewarned! The White Duck is popular and their may be a line. Otherwise sublime.

I've been many times to Asheville, but seldom to eat. A few days ago, gallery (and Mast General Store) hopping, I asked a couple of people on Biltmore Ave. where to go for lunch and they both pointed right across the street from Mast to the White Duck. What a wonderful selection of tacos and what a great light, but... More

The reviews are accurate, this place is fabulous. The tacos are fantastic, a mix of Mexican and Asian flavors. The fish tacos were pretty good, as was the Thai peanut butter. The Korean beef and black bean were also excellent. The trio of salsas was a nice way to start the meal. The peach sangria was also quite tasty. If... More

Have been to the River Arts District several times in Asheville and this restaurant only adds to my overall feelings about the experience of the RAD. A wonderful selection of interesting tacos combining some very basic things and then going over the edge. The fish taco, with blackened talapia was to die for, and I am not a big fan... More

I was skeptical...but now I am a believer! We went to the location close to the Arts district and enjoyed a very good lunch. I had the fish taco and the fish was grilled with the best sauce. So fresh!!! My husband had the crab and he loved it. I suggest you get a basket of tortilla chips with a... More

I read about White Duck Taco Shop in Bon Appetit. We know good tacos in South Texas and I am leery about having them many other places. There was a long line when we arrived but it moved efficiently. I ordered the duck mole tacos and chicken thai peanut tacos- both were delicious and made with fresh ingredients!! There were... More

my group tried 6 different tacos. All different and delicious. The steak taco was a big hit as was the crab, but by far the best was the crispy chicken BLT taco. Chips were good, salsa excellent!
