Discover Roux and you just may become addicted. Our patrons tell us they’re mad about Roux. We knew when we opened we were creating something special, but our patron’s love of Roux is our best affirmation. Our Executive Chef Randy Dunn has created an innovative menu incorporating small plates and comfort food finished with a creative twist. Roux fuses southern comfort with modern sophistication, dishes inspired by our Chef’s grandmother’s kitchen then spiced with locally farmed ingredients that are all Asheville. Our menu features small plates that allow sharing as well as more traditional large plates. A diverse wine list, full service bar and select desserts created in the Roux kitchen complete your experience. At Roux you’ll also enjoy the best service and an inviting atmosphere. Join us for breakfast, lunch and dinner and become mad about Roux.

Had the breakfast buffet. Asked twice for water, then, no ice. Had to ask if OJ was included, which it was, but it was never offered. When it was served, there was OJ in one hand and a mop in the other. Pretty poor. Bread toaster didn't work properly. Had to put a bagel through three times, raised the heat,... More

Honestly there is nothing here that disappoints! My husband swore up and down that he hated pimento cheese, until he tried it here. Now it is all he talks about... There wasn't one item on the menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner that wasn't amazing!

I don't expect a whole lot from restaurants affiliated with hotels. Roux was a pleasant surprise. The local mountain trout was delicious, and cost $20 less than a similar entree I had at another local restaurant. Great salads here, too. Pleasant surroundings. Would definitely eat here again.

Roux is a welcome surprise to the average hotel restaurant. The plates are locally sourced, and the service is top-notch. I had the trout special, it literally melted in my mouth. My date enjoyed his pork. The bread is warmed, and a nice touch. Why more restaurants don't do that, I don't understand, it's simple and shows you go the... More

We had a late night dinner at Roux upon arrival and were pleasantly surprised with quality and portion. The menu states local foods (great!) and a comfort food menu (not so much). But we had a good meal. We also had the breakfast buffet each day and love the fact that local ingredients were available as was made-to-order omelets, eggs,... More

It was wonderful that they were serving on this Family Day & the meal was very good. Pumpkin Bisque was very tasty. There was a carving station w/ ham & turkey..several sides..salad...rolls...pie for dessert. Rolls were soft & tasty - biscuits were like hockey pucks!! Ugh Pie was ok - nothing special. Bread Pudding was very sweet - not too... More
