Great pizza, salads, and other dishes. The price is right and the people that work there are the best.

i had the antipasta salad at franks and found it to be excellent. it was an ample portion size with plenty of pepperoni, cheese, ham and a variety of veggies with an italian dressing that certainly complimented the salad. i also had a pepperoni and sausage pizza and found it to be one of the most delicious pizzas i have... Stopped by for a quick pizza dinner and it hit the spot. Nothing fancy at all but the pizza was hot and fresh with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Not exacly what I think of as NY pizza but it was a thin, slighty chewy crust. Staff was polite and friendly. If you're in the market for... More

I grew up in CT and find Franks to be the closest to NY style that I have found in Asheville.

You order at the counter, but they bring you everything except drinks and they are back to get you whatever you need. The pizzas were great and we enjoyed the dinner. Some of their background music could use improvement, but they varied it enough to not be annoying.

I am originally a New Yorker, and living in the south it's hard to find a good slice of "pie". If you are in Asheville, Franks is the place. Reasonably priced good Italian food. They also have great Ziti,Lasagna, and Calzones.

For game 7 of the World Series we had takeout thin-crust pizza from the Enka-Candler location (Sardis Road) of Frank's Roman Pizza. We're glad the Cards won, but we were disappointed in the pizza. The sauce was bland and there wasn't much cheese. The Greek salad had only lettuce, feta and onion in it, and not the pepperoncini and Greek... More

The pizza is so good. I love the sauce, it has a great taste. I also always get the greek salad when I come here.

On a family trip to Asheville, NC, we decided we wanted to try a local restaurant instead of one of the many chains that were available on Tunnel Road. A quick Internet search for a local pizza place led us to Frank's...and I'm glad it did! My research showed that "Fank" came from NY a long time ago and set... More
