The attention of the staff is splendid. The food is delicious. Leave room for the cheesecake, you will not be disappointed. The portions are plentiful. Particularly well located if you visit the estate in the winter or spring. It may be a good idea to plan for lunch before the visit to the house. It is hard to believe it... More

Very good restaurant for being inside a tourist attraction. Cool setting in the old stables. Service was great, food delicious, don't miss the dessert! It can be noisy because of its size, but it was not crowded when we were there.

We made reservations so we could eat after taking the tour of the house. We were seated quickly because of our reservations. The menu is small but it had a variety that would suit probably anybody. The meals came out slow and we found them to be lukewarm. Overall they tasted okay but for the hype and price I would've... More

The restaurant was very quaint and lovely. They actually converted the stables into a restaurant and then added tables to it. It is a beehive of activity though and it would be useful to call ahead for a reservation otherwise wait times could span 20 minutes or more. But the food was great and you could taste the freshness of... More

We have been to the Stable Café during the Candlelight tours a couple of times now, and it really compliments the evening. The atmosphere is very interesting in the old stables, the lighting is well done, and the service is excellent. We were also seated promptly at our reservation time, and were given a large booth for just the two... More

In between tours at the Biltmore Estate. The Stable Cafe was a welcomed site and a great place to relax and re-energize after the house tour. We shared the Sampler Platter and it hit the spot. Emily was a waitress and took good care of us.

My friend and I had just finished touring Biltmore. We were tired, cold and very hungry. So we decided to eat at the Stable Café. Good decision!! Our waitress, KIM, was "the best ever." Arrived at a perfect time for lunch. Busy but not crowded (yet). Kim helped us decide what to order and kept checking on us every few... More

Although it was not the traditional lunch hour, it was very crowded. We did not have to wait long to be seated, but once we ordered our food we waited 45 minutes to be served. It was not a complicated order: a hamburger and a sandwich wrap. The food was good, and prices decent, but the long wait did not... More

A unique dining experience, with a limited menu, but not as pricey as you would think it would be. The food was very good. We were there for lunch, and didn't need reservations. Certainly a convenient option while staying at the Inn on Biltmore.

Restaurant booths are made from the old horse stalls in the stable...we loved the "repurposing"! Dinner starts at 5:00, and reservations were a "must." Once the doors opened, they worked efficiently to get everyone seated. Service was good. Menu limited, but everyone in our party was happy with their meal. A unique opportunity. Recommend!
