Eating in the "stable" is a MUST if you are visiting Biltmore!

You can't go wrong in this restaurant which has maintained the integrity of the old stable with a beautifully remodeled interior. The sampler platter for two @$29.95 is a great deal. We got a table in about 2 minutes, Anne was there in no time to take our orders. The food arrived in only a few minutes, hence I was glad I didn't order an appetizer. They did a great job of preserving the integrity of the original stables.

We ate lunch at Stable Café the first time we visited the Biltmore. The food is very good, but the atmosphere is what sets it apart. This used to be the Biltmore Stables and they have left much of the original structure in tact. My granddaughter is crazy about horses and can't wait to have lunch there this summer!

The Stable Café was fabulous. The place was amazing and the food was wonderful. The waitress was friendly, fun, and efficient. When you're finished eating, head upstairs and check out the view into the stable from the "hay loft". (It's by the bathrooms.)

Apparently, we were so caught up in the majesty of the Biltmore Estate we did not realize that the Stable Cafe meant we were actually eating in the former stable - or in our case the horse stall. Great service by Eric. Good bbq and sweet pickles were amazing. Dessert of friend peaches and sweet corn ice cream is not... More

The food was delicious and the setting was so intriguing. The stable turned into restaurant. It was done beautifully. Our food was delicious, of our group, we enjoyed the feast for 2, the baked chicken, and the chicken salad. Each meal was inviting with good portions and served up hot and fresh. Plan to wait a bit, but you get... More

This is on the Biltmore Estate by the House. Be went early and it was air conditioned. Be were seated in a stall in the stable. The lunch was pretty good - lots of unusual gluten free items - and the service was very good. They make an attempt to serve items that would gave been served in the years... More

Not cheap, but what do you expect ... it is on the Biltmore estate. The wait staff are competent, and quick. Remember you are in a high traffic summer vacation attraction and you will not be disappointed.

Great place to eat! Busy so get your buzzer then you can shop around the square while you wait and get a drink at the bar. My bf and I shared the bbq sampler platter. Was amazing! Ask for fries instead for the side.
