We were so lucky to stop in! The menu here is fun and focused on fresh ingredients and comfort foods. The biscuits truly are notable. Above all, the service is beyond welcoming. Such a great place!

Really enjoyed ourselves here. I lived the trout with asparagus and grits. My kids enjoyed their kids' menu selections. Fried green tomatoes were a bit greasy but very tasty. My husband says the biscuits and blueberry jam was "off the charts!" We were disappointed that the Flourless chocolate cake wasn't on the menu any more, but all in all we... More

During lunch and thru out our stay this place was always crowded. The food was very good. Mac n Cheese was excellent. The biscuit and honey were to die for. Staff was pleasant. Restaurant was clean.

My husband and I ate at the downtown location last year I on vacation. It was an absolute mess to try to get to table. And there's nowhere to walk around once you're inside. To avoid the body surfing and the crazy wait, we decided to try the south location. A much better decision! Much more room inside and much... More

After being unsuccessful for two years trying to get into THC in dowtown AVL, we decided to try the South AVL location. It was a Wednesday evening about 6 and we walked in and were seated immediately. Since it was a cool evening we chose outdoor seating and it was just lovely. Josiah, our server was more than we could... More

The food is fabulous!! Biscuits and jam and honey are deliciously sinful. However, the value for the amount of food is a little discerning. You are definitely paying for the biscuits of which they sell the biscuit mix!! Well worth that!!

You can't go wrong at a Tupelo Honey. You will always get a great meal and they have healthy choices as well. The biscuits with jam and honey are almost sinful. Sweet potato pancakes are wonderful and very filling. The veggie bowl is one of my favorites. They also have their cookbooks for sale with all their favorite recipes. The... More

The food at Tupelo Honey Cafe's is outstanding. But if you go to the one in downtown Asheville, you'll wait 45 minutes at least to get in. This newer place is not as crowded (we walked right in for lunch on Friday) and the service is extraordinary! The biscuits and blueberries start you off on a high, then it's uphill... More

We ate here on a Wednesday evening, when all wine was half off! The food was delicious. I had the trout. I especially enjoyed the goat cheese grits. The service was great, the ambiance comfortable (right in between casual and more formal), and it wasn't too noisy, which is important to me. I'd heard of Tupelo Honey, but never been... More

If you like shrimp and you like grits, Tupelo Honey's recipe is ooh, ooh good! Crisp crunchy shrimp on top of red gravy (with a little zip) grits...............I could have had seconds! Waiters were friendly and helpful in suggesting what to order. No wonder Tripadvisor ratings are #1!!
