Eating at Curate was a rare treat - no wonder it's Asheville's top rated restaurant. Most interesting and delicious food at a reasonable price. I will go back EVERY time I visit Asheville. Do consider eating at the bar; it's lively, you can see the staff prepare some of the most interesting and fresh food available anywhere. Very professional staff!

We couldn't have been happier with our experience. We made reservations last minute (5 days before) for a Saturday night in June and the only time we could get was 10:00 P.M. It was well worth the late dinner. We ordered about 7-8 different plates and they were all delicious. They have an excellent wine menu! If you're visiting Asheville... More

We've been to several Tapas restaurant where the bang for the buck was much greater. Of the six tapas dishes we shared, only the lamb and the ham were worth mentioning - the others were mediocre at best.

We're fans of Jose Andres' restaurants in Washington, DC, and we made a special detour to Asheville to try out the tapas at Curate, which is run by a talented couple with links to Andres. Everything from the food to the service was outstanding - possibly better than Jaleo. We particularly enjoyed the white sangria, the fried eggplant with honey,... More

Don't know where to start but can say we were sad to see it end... By far the best restaurant we went to on a romantic weekend to Ashville. Did not want the meal to end. Did not have reservation but got sat at the bar. Glad for it too. Just watching the prep work and attention to detail, we... More

We returned to Asheville, one reason being that we love this restaurant! It's best to go with a group of friends or family who are happy to sample multiple tapas; but save room for dessert, an always pleasant array of flavors that subtly work together. The menu is huge for a tapas restaurant. Easy to find in a busy downtown... More

This is the place to go in Asheville and deservedly so. Make reservations early! I booked 2 weeks in advance and was still only able to get a 9:00 pm reservation on a Friday night. That being said, I think that's the time to go. I highly recommend going to Nightbell around the corner for a drink beforehand. One of... More

We have read a number of great reviews on this restaurant (here and other sites) and had to have dinner here. Food: We tried a number of dishes and the food was wonderful. We started with the tomato and preserved watermelon salad, the shrimp and sauteed garlic (outstanding), the vermicelli with squid ink and seafood (excellent), eggplant with honey (outstanding).... Visiting Asheville, NC and thought we'd try this highly rated restaurant for lunch. We ordered and shared 6 small plates and we all loved the food. We followed our meals with hot coffee bevs and 1 hot dark chocolate. A yummy treat and I especially loved the menu which indicated all types of dishes that are GF, NF, V, etc.... More
