A group of girlfriends was visiting our local Asheville friend for a few days of fun. I'm so glad she booked a reservation for us to dine at Curate. What a great experience! The food was absolutely incredible. Everything was great! We had the potatoes, the meatballs, the eggplant, the shrimp with garlic, the goat-cheese stuffed peppers, and the ham.... More

This restaurant was the reason for our stop in Asheville in route to Hilton Head. We were not disappointed! The tapas were fantastic and very authentic! We really enjoyed everything we had, and wished we could have found room for more. We especially enjoyed the berenjenas la taberna (eggplant with honey), albondigas con jamon (meatballs), and chistorra con pure de... More

This is an authentic (yet elevated) tapas restaurant. The food reminds us of some of the best that we had in Spain. We've eaten both at the bar (which is first come, first served) and a table in the restaurant. We had a great time at the bar watching all of the action and talking to our server. Love the... More

We snuck in here for an early afternoon lunch and got a couple of seats at the bar, which was a great place to sit and watch the chefs at work. We also had a chance to chat with one of the cooks who was prepping goat cheese stuffed peppers. My wife and I had the pan con tomate (bread... More

Hard to get a table. We sat at the bar and tried several tapas dishes. The octopus, eggplant and pork charcuterie were all very good. Their moonshine drink with ginger ale is terrific.

This restaurant has all the essential ingredients for success. The menu provides for a foodie adventure of flavors with layers of taste and eloquently cooked and assembled for a great experience. Add wine pairings as suggested by the server, sit at the bar if you can and just keep ordering until you decide you've had enough, but don't forget dessert or... More

We went to Curate for lunch. The food was highly recommended to us, and had been described as "the best in Asheville" by more than one person. While I can't validate that claim as we didn't eat everywhere in Asheville, the food was excellent. For example, we ordered the gambas al ajillo - it was delicious and the shrimp were... More

Curate has become our favorite restaurant in Asheville. On a recent trip to Bristol, we came back through Asheville just for lunch there. The multitude of tapas will give anyone plenty of choices to find something great to enjoy. We have now been twice and tried 11 or so. Not one was a disappointment. The staff is very knowledgeable and... More

Stopped in for two night for a drink and bite at the bar. Food is just as amazing as always! The squid noodle dish was star of the show. Incredible flavors. I don't think we have ever had a disappointing dish here in about 5 or 6 visits.
