Friends recommended we eat here because the chef had trained at the famous El Bulli. The menu is Spanish tapas. We decided on four tapas to share between my sister and I - compressed watermelon salad, gazpacho, pan con tomate with manchego and potato omelet. It was all amazing. As we listed to what everyone was ordering around us we... More

I was totally blown away by this place. Be prepared to wait on a weekend night during peak time, but it is worth it. Everything was delicious and unique. Took my husband here for his birthday and already he can't wait to go back.

One key I have found with certain restaurants NOT managed well is when they show one wine vintage on their list but try to serve you another without the slightest attempt at pointing it out. Not only did Nathan (manager) point out the vintage change he made it very clear if we did not like the taste of the $100... More

Reserve well in advance. I booked a week and a half out and could could get only a 6:00 seating. I think they may save seats at the bar for walk-ins. We were seated promptly upon arrival, and the hostesses were friendly. Service was very good. We were familiar with tapas in general and much of the food on the... More

Food was great here and it was in walking distance of our hotel-Aloft (which was fabulous). Our server had a bit of an attitude and/or edge. However, the food was terrific!!

Was here two years ago and absolutely loved everything! Katie Button (owner/chef) was extremely accommodating of my wife's food issues and personally made recommendations for both the food and wine pairings! Just the same wonderful experience and food this time! Small plates, Spanish cuisine and great wine assortment, especially by the glass. Even provided a special dessert to celebrate my... More

This restaurant has the largest and deepest tapas menu that I have personally ever seen. You name it, they have it, and often in several variations. I love everything I have tried, and loved the look of things going past to other tables. The service is quick and unobtrusive. So why not excellent? I have not been lucky enough to... More

Curate is not to be missed when you visit Asheville. The service was great and the food was spectacular. We ordered a variety of items and were pleased with them all. The cheese plate is great and they have a very nice wine selection.

My wife selected this restaurant to try on our visit to Asheville based on very favorable Internet comments and reviews. We were very impressed. 4 tapas selections. (squid sandwich; watermelon/corn nut/heirloom tomato salad; spinach, apple, pine nut, vegetable; and lamb tenderloin skewer. All were original, fresh, and full of great flavors. Server knew his stuff and was most helpful in... More
