Twice in two days!

I know there are plenty of places to eat in Asheville that are excellent, but once you've had the Migas here, you know you have to have again. So on a three day trip we managed to eat here twice! How do you make celery seed yogurt mousse? Too delicious for words!

I had heard that I should sit at the bar. Apparently watching the food preparation is a sight to see. Stopped in many times, but couldn't get a seat at the bar w/o a reservation, so dining at Curate remained on our wish list for some time. Come Valentine's Day, I managed a reservation for 4:00.....not at the bar. When... More

It took me back to Spain without realizing it.. Love their Tapas Menu and also the Negroni drink. Have been there plenty of time and never been disappointed.

Good presence. Didn't know exactly the dryest sherry to go with the garlic shrimp but she found out and ensured they were served at the same time. This may seem a but esotertic or even getting in the weeds but after the trips to curaté I've learned that they always excell in execution, presentation and those esotertic often excrutiating details the others... We came in for a birthday lunch for a coworker. There were 10 of us, and we had a lot of drink orders, food orders and dessert orders, and the waitress was great. The food came out consistently, and all of it tasted wonderful. There was not one single dish anyone in the group didn't like. Notable dishes were the:... More

We had brunch here and neither of us can wait to go back. Everything was sooooo good and very unique even the drinks. The service was good as well and she gave great suggestions. I had a grapefruit martini with lemon air yes lemon air… it was this bubbly lemon froth and it was outstanding. My boyfriend had an espresso... More

A foodie friend was coming through town, and since this has one of the newly nominated James Beard chefs, it was high on the list to hit. Boy, were we not disappointed. First off, for anyone who likes the voyeur seat in the kitchen, sit at the bar. Watching all the activity is absolutely inspiring. Our tour guide for all... More

Of course, with this restaurant being rated #1 in Asheville, we had to try it. The food is great, but that's no surprise. It's in Asheville. My issue with this restaurant is that there is not an actual "bar." They have what I would call a "chef's bar" where you watch the cooks prepare all the food, but the bartender... More
