Definitely a a place that deserves it's rating! Sunday night...bottle of wines at half price, appetizer of Buffalo Cauliflower Bites was served hot and were a great beginning, entrees of Mighty Meaty Meatloaf (who knew meatloaf could taste gourmet?) and the Black Bean Tostadas with shrimp (from the daytime menu) offered such a delight in taste. We liked it so... More

The food is good - started with the faux sushi - battered tuna in a sushi roll was good also shared the cheese plate - was ok. Had the crab cake -and my husband had the pork chop with the sweet potatoes - very good. Service was helter skelter - forgot to bring knives and water , had to ask... More

My wife and I had dinner here based on Trip Advisor reviews and a local recommendation. It did not disappoint. This casual dining restaurant offers indoor and outside dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They use fresh local ingredients and the quality of food is excellent. Our waiter was very attentive to us and took time to discuss different items... More

Even as a tourist, I had heard of Sunny Point. We went on a Monday morning, and there was still a wait, though not a long one. The wait was made more pleasant by the outside waiting area (don't know what they do in cold weather) & by coffee in the waiting area! This gave us time to peruse the... More

It's a treat when a restaurant that gets hyped doesn't then rest on its reputation. These folks care about what they do and it shows in the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. The breakfasts are worth the wait.

Sunny Point Cafe is not in a terrific location, but you should find it and enjoy the delicious food. They serve breakfast all day. I had the hamburger with a fried egg on top and it was very delicious. Be sure to try a local beer and the house hot sauce!

I've eaten at Sunny Point several times, and have yet to be disappointed. While at a conference in Asheville, my husband and I tried many restaurants. We had to say this was our favorite meal during our trip. My husband ordered the meat loaf which came with friend onions, mashed potatoes, collards, and a salad. It was all very good.... More

This little spot has amazing breakfast and lunch. They are even open late for dinner. After your meal check out the sustainable garden where a ton of produce is grown for the restaurant. A+ all around.

Went for a late breakfast - and I couldn't decide between the huevos rancheros and the breakfast burrito. The waitress said "huevos rancheros, it will change your life" and she was right. It was so awesome, phenomenal flavor, and cooked to perfection. I had to fight the others off - as they were very envious. Although I must say, all... More

I chose sunny point for my birthday lunch in Asheville and it was truly a treat. Open and airy dining space with a shady garden for waiting. We were seated immediately but I checked out the garden with our little one while waiting for the food to arrive. I tried the fried chicken and waffles salad with a honey orange... More
