Picky daughter loved it

My entire family loves Indian food, but my 7 year old daughter is rather picky about the dishes she will eat (chicken tikka masala only), but there was a different chicken dish that she just loved, even though it was spicier than she is accustomed to eating.

My wife and I go out for Indian food often, but this was a wonderful change. You are sure to find stuff on this menu that you have never seen before. We really liked the Sloppy Jai, it had great flavor. Also, the lime rickey was very refreshing. I would definitely stop here for lunch if you like Indian.

This was good, but slightly over rated. Samosas were mainly potato based which is not my preference. We were all happy with our food, just not elated.

..and that is saying a lot, because I'm a devotee of Mela (see my reviews..) but..oh my. This place is delicious....I knew it had to be good when I had to wait in line behind a bunch of Indians (I'm not trying to be disrespectful or funny, but I figure that is saying something). They have a bunch of small... More

I lived in India for two years, so I naturally had to lower my expectations for finding good Indian food in the U.S. Chai Pani is a perfect blend of America meets India. You can find a mix of North Indian and South Indian food here. The green mango chutney puri is amazing. I always enjoy the thali for a... More

We've been here several times and always bring guests who we know like Indian food. So we brought some out-of-towners here recently and they enjoyed it as much as we do. And this matters because they have been to India many times and know something about the wide range of Indian cuisine. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The decor... More

"Namaste y'all!" Just the type of place you wanna find when you travel ... The trendy place where locals go for yummy food and fun atmosphere. I stumbled upon this place by accident and sorta wish I could have it for breakfast! Just ordered the vegetarian thali and I was sad that I could not finish it! The flavors were... More

Not being all that familiar with Indian food in general, we didn’t know what to expect from a restaurant featuring “Indian street food.” On top of that Chai Pani doesn’t take reservations, and we didn’t want to stand in a long line outside. Our apprehensions were diminished almost immediately because the hostesses offered to have us wait in the bar... More
