Love the Kale!

I enjoy good Indian cuisine. Chai Pani has everything I would want. The flavors are yummy, beer cold and don't miss out on the kale chips. They use a light batter on them, yummy. This place made me happy. I went solo and loved it.

Very cute little place. Worth the short wait. The food was unique and flavorful. I have never had any like it in the US. Hands down delicious.

Really, really impressed with a delicious, tidy menu. Many items are gluten free and the staff are very knowledgeable. The Chicken Pakoras is WONDERFUL - definitely try it! Quick service, good prices and really good food make this a must visit, come here multiple times every trip to Asheville.

Until we ate at Chai Pani, we did not know what the term Indian Street Food meant. It means terrific indian food. Flavors that I have never tasted in Indian Restaurants. By far the two favorite dishes we had were the Sloppy Jai, and the Tandoori Fish Wrap. The Sloppy Jai is like a lamb slider, but the flavors are... More

Chai Pani is not a typical Indian restaurant. It is a smallish, upbeat, cafe setting with a brief-but-diverse menu. The food is exquisite and the staff friendly.

Wow! I've been lucky enough to have a lot of very good and tasty Indian meals at a variety of restaurants over the years, but wow, this was just something else. Not your typical Indian. It was just a taste sensation, in a cool location with great staff. We were in the USA for two and a half weeks. This... More

Four adults, four kids (with a limited appetite for adventurous dining) and we all had something delicious. Arrive early to avoid the wait - it's a small, popular place. Recommend okra (kids loved it), indian sloppy joe's for appetizers. Great all around.

What a pleasant surprise. My wife's curried fish roll-up may be one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted. When I mentioned to our waitress that my chicken was dry, she brought me a complete replacement salad without me asking.

I went to Chai Pani for the great reviews which I had read and my new found love of Indian and Himalayan foods. I ordered their dinner special and was so disappointed. For those who have not been, the dinner has the main dish of the night (choice of vegetarian or meat), dahl, a few different breads, and dessert. Well,... More
