While visiting Biltmore for the first time in over 30 years, I stumbled upon a wonderful place to eat. There are many places on the property that I'm sure serve great food but Cedric's is a "must go to place." On Saturday everything was so good and the people were so friendly, especially my waiter Chris, that I came back... More

We visited here for lunch with friends during a recent visit to the Biltmore Estate. I was tired and just wanted some comfort food on a cool autumn afternoon. I chose an unlikely item for me, Grilled Cheese and Soup. It ended up being a memorable meal! The grilled cheese had an applewood bacon and Apple Slaw cooked into the... More

Had lunch there after touring the estate. Nice, clean decor and loved seeing pictures of Cedric the dog, and Vanderbilt family members around the tavern. I had the tuna melt, which was okay, but the couscous served with it was the best I have ever tasted. Mom had the grilled cheese w/bacon and a cup of butternut squash soup, which... More

It's a casual pub on the Biltmore Estate grounds at Antler Hill. I just had a salad, but it was good and and I would go back.

The food was very good and the service was excellent. We ate lunch and were not rushed at all. Our waitress was very helpful and offered suggestions of things to see in Asheville. Really enjoyed the experience fatter touring the Biltmore.

We had dinner at this restaurant on a busy Saturday night. I was very, very impressed with the staff. We had to wait for a table and the hostess happily got me a glass of ice water. Our server mistakenly informed me that the chicken dish I ordered would come boneless. It did not. The cost of the main course... More

We have heard good things about this place and decided to give it a try. We were thoroughly disappointed. We each had the turkey sandwich with apple coleslaw served with potato salad. The turkey was served on sour dough and topped with the apple coleslaw. The bread was soggy and sloppy--very difficult to eat. Would have worked better with the... More

We went with family visiting from out of state and the floor was filthy. Our waitress seemed rushed and not interested in serving us. I had been here once before and had a good experience, but this time was not good. I do enjoy the fish and chips and the scotch eggs.

My husband and I stopped in after touring the Biltmore House. We arrived at an awkward hour ,right before dinner was to begin, so there was some confusion as to which menu to give us. Service was attentive, although a bit rushed, as another reviewer mentioned. Bread and "Lusty Monk Butter" were great, appetizer also. My husband ordered the Bison... More

Great venue with an excellent ambiance and a simple but very good menu. We booked a table for 6 and were immediately greeted. First problem, the room was freezing and all three ladies in our party were perished within minutes. To be fair the management dealt with the problem immediately but why do restaurants in the US have their air... More
