My Thoughts

The atmosphere and food was good, but pricey. I guess I should have expected this since I was in a tourist area.

My husband and I with another couple stopped into Cedric's for a late lunch about 3:00 in the afternoon. We were seated right away, our waitress brought the menus and took our drink orders quickly. We ordered burgers and fish meals, all came with fries. The burgers were done as ordered, the fish was great and the fries were hot... More

Our server was so nice and when he heard it was my birthday he served dessert on the house. We were there for lunch. The clam chowder soup was served hot, our appetizers were not rushed and the portions were perfect. We had two appetizers and they were large enough to share between three. Our sandwiches and lamb stew were... More

This is my favorite place for lunch on the estate. I don't know what they put in the deviled eggs, but they are fabulous; sweet and savory at the same time. I could eat a dozen of them! The pretzel rolls are also amazing, as are the fish and chips. No Captain D's sized fish sticks here - these are... More

My husband enjoyed his shepherd's pie which was served nice and hot. But after the sensational bison burger in Blowing Rock, the one here was a disappointment. Alao the salad with marinated radishes was not our favorite. Attentive and friwndly service.

We had a very good dinner at Cedric's which surprised us. The pretzel balls with mustard butter were different and delicious. We also had fried pickles which were very good. I did not order a draft beer as most were IPAs which I do not like. I did have a very good Heffe Weisse. My daughter had fish and chips.... More

Cedric's is conveniently located right in Antler Village, we were there first thing Sunday morning when they opened. It was overall a pleasant experience. Our server was very attentive and sweet, my only complaint would be, I wish she had been more informative: We choose Cedrics because of the English Brunch that Biltmore was offering to coincide with Dressing Downton.... Great food in a comfortable environment. Dressy or casual attire. Elevated pub style food. Some farm to table flare.

We sat at the bar, had beverages, oysters and pimento cheese stuff. The beer and oysters were great. The pimento cheese stuff may have been good but it must be an acquired taste. They had some house made bacon beer almonds that were fantastic. The service was absolutely the best (at the bar remember) We would go again just for... More

The food was very good although a little pricey, especially for lunch. My wife had the Ruben Sandwich which she thought was very good and I had the Fish and Chips which were average, and a glass of wine for a total bill over $50 with tip. A little steep for lunch. Service was very good.
