Lunch after Touring the Estate

Between touring the estate and visiting the winery, our group of six stopped at Cedrics for a bite. Appetizers and drinks. The appetizers were very generous - enjoyed the charcuterie. Cute décor of the Vanderbilt's doggie. Staff was very nice.

We loved the Biltmore tour and sitting outside at this lovely tavern made a perfect ending to the day. Beautiful, excellent service and food. It went way beyond our expectations. All of us loved our meals. I just wish I has te to Sample the shrimp dish that went to our dining neighbors. 😏

Cedric's had the feel of a real tavern: the beautiful wood everywhere, the generous seating, the "wood and wattle" featuring fabulous images of its large namesake: Cedric the St. Bernard. Cedric's enormous collar is on display as well - a great detail. My friend had the Bison burger and she loved it. (As someone who dispises burgers generally, this was... More

My wife and I ate sitting at the bar. We had good conversation with Scott the bartender who was friendly and informative regarding questions we had regarding the Biltmore Estate properties. The restaurant had a moderate, late lunch crowd. My wife and I split the Queen's Coronation Chicken Salad and Farmer's Green Salad. We also sampled a couple local brews.... More

The food is not my favorite thing at Cedric but I like the casual atmosphere and the amazing sunset views. I love sitting outside and listening to the live music that is nearby most weekends. The Bison Burger is tasty and the ice cream shop is across the way so you can linger more for the music ands sunset.

This was a nice break during a bad weather day and rigorous tour schedule. We felt relaxed and pampered. The wait staff was top notch. I ate the Tavern Salad which was as described. The scotched egg seemed to be kind of their thing, but isn't on my diet, but the most memorable highlight for me was the outstanding coffee.... More

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant on April 15, 2015. I ordered a glass of wine from the local winery - it was Sangiovese wine - very smooth tasting red wine. My husband ordered a diet Coke. For an entree, my husband ordered shepherd's pie was was very good. I ordered a vegetarian entree - whole wheat... More

We had a day at the Biltmore and were a little late for lunch so we order appetizers, then had to cancel dinner reservations. Delicious! Good service.

My husband and I stopped in here for lunch and loved it! Both of us got a burger....and it was one of the best mouth watering burgers we have ever had. Each was cooked perfectly and on a home-made bun that was delicious. Go, go, go!!! We'll be back next time we're in Asheville!

We had a lovely lunch on this wet afternoon after visiting the estate, The service was great, my man ordered corned beef and cabbage, nope out of that so he quickly decided on the shepherd's pie and I had the yummy chicken, leek cobbler. Everything was served piping hot. However not a slice of bread, or veg, or garnish of... More
