Excellent food but a bit pricey

We were fortunate to have dinner outside at the Tavern during a lull between rainstorms. My pan roasted clams and mussels in a delicious tomato broth were about the best that I have ever had. Husband's fish and chips was a generous plateful; the fish batter coating was light and not greasy. Good... read more

We ate here twice on a 3 day stay, which should tell you something about our opinion of the food and the experience. Cedric's had a unique menu, was much less expensive than the Inn Restaurant, and we liked the food better. They had live music both nights, which was a plus and the waiters were exceptional. Patrick was really... More

Have tried Cedrics several times hoping it was just what we ordered. Got the $27 lobster roll each this time. Thawed out watery lobster with no dressing of any kind. Roll soggy and could not be picked up. We ate it with a fork because we were hungry and 2 sandwiches was $54. Service was good. Food horrible. Last time... More

The atmosphere and the food were both wonderful! My hubby and I both had the muffuletta sandwich. It was wonderful and each bite was an explosion of tastes and flavors! After a day walking around Biltmore Estate it was just what we needed!

We enjoyed having lunch at Cedric's. I had blue cheese burger and fries. We set in the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere. You should stop in for lunch!

We started dinner with a glass of Cedric's ales which are better than the Biltmore wines, and then moved to the farmer's salad which was very fresh and served with a light-tasting dressing. The entrees were the steak and potato dish and the Alaskan halibut - both were flavorful and very good. The menu is geared to adults - as... More

Cedric's was the only even remotely bad experience I had at the Biltmore. We arrived post lunch rush and there were only maybe 3 or 4 other tables taken. The host was friendly and promptly sat us at a nice table. We had a chance to look at the menu and how the prices were quite high for the food... More

The food here is overrated and expensive. Fish and chips was definitely frozen fish. Soggy and bland. Charcruterie was really bad. Tasso was tough, I don't remember the others. Some strange meat paste in a soup bowl. Cedric's has potential to be great, but isn't. Save your money, your time and your health and eat at one of the other... More

The food in this tavern was very good and the service was excellent. There were many unusual items in the menu and we sampled quite a few. Meyers were also quie a number of gluten free offerings. We could look out the window and enjoy the area. It has live music entertainment b

We went there with one of our daughters and her two daughters and enjoyed the place very much. Our grand daughters had looked it up on the internet and couldn't wait to see the statues and souvenirs of Cedric. The staff and food was wonderful.
