The fact that Vinnie's was rocking at 6 p.m. on a Monday night is testament to both the food and the service. My dining companions had the scallops and enjoyed them. I went with the Caesar salad topped with calamari and could only eat half, but not for lack of desire. Great value, food, and service.

We took the advice of most tripadvisors and tried Vinnie's. It was great! And you were right: the service was par to none. Tripadvisor asks the question, " is this one of of the best meals you've ever had in a restaurant" well, no, BUT it IS the best Italian food we have had in Asheville! The very best meal... More

We had a very good meal at Vinnie's. It was very busy with two very large groups but the service was terrific. Our waitress Megan, along with the entire staff, couldn't have been nicer or more efficient - they make you feel like family! The service was simply fabulous! I had Chicken Picatta and my husband had Chicken Marsala. We... More

My husband and I went to Vinnie's twice (two nights in a row) as we were up in Asheville staying at an nearby cabin just for the weekend on the fourth. First thing you notice when you walk in is how inviting all the wait staff is (and not just the front hostess). Everybody is very down to earth, polite,... More

My husband and I celebrated our 32 wedding anniversary with the Wedding Cake cocktail, which was wonderful. We had Shrimp Scampi that was slightly spicy and very toothsome! The best Spaghetti with Sunday Gravy (meatballs and sausage) was rich, sweet and filling! Our server, Sean Cudmore, was outstanding and met our every wish with a pleasant, enthusiastic demeanor. The atmosphere... More

My husband expects a lot of his Italian food so I am always a bit afraid to try someplace new. This was rated okay but we both agreed the wait staff were charming and eager to please. I had the garlic knots (okay) and gorgonzola salad (very good). My husband had the Veal Saltimbocca and was not pleased - veal... More

Asheville has many fine restaurants, but we always end up going back to Vinnie's. Great food, consistently excellent service... The staff members are always so much fun, and make you feel right at home!

My wife and I went here for our anniversary on the recommendation from a friend, and Vinnie's lived up to the hype my friend had given the restaurant! The food was true Italian!!! From the time my wife and I walked in we were greeted promptly by 3 staff members. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu, enthusiastic, and... More

Excellent service by all! My food server Jessica Crabtree was the best! I just moved here .. Being Italian I reviewed the "Best Italian" restaurant in Asheville. Vinnies was the place. I ordered the Sunday Gravy ..delicious. Jessica C was excellent. Very knowledgable she recommended a wine that I really enjoyed (Malbec)... Definitely will be back.
