Best Italian around. They make you feel like family the time you walk in the door. Took home a bottle of their sauce which is delicious!

We visited Asheville for the weekend and found Vinnie's. Glad we did! It was a great break from the downtown scene and fun to visit a local restaurant. The wait was fairly long, but worth it. Friendly staff and good service. Eric was great! Great food and they have gluten free pasta!! Family Italian at it's best!

Pleasure going to Vinny's . Our server was extremely kind and knowledgeable, but made us feel welcomed when we arrived. They serve classics and the food is very very good. The wine list offered our party a great election to choice from. I would highly recommend this place if you are near or in Asheville.

We showed up with no reservations on a Wednesday night. The ambiance is spare, but the food was great, the wine was good, and the service was outstanding. A very pleasant surprise. No limoncello, though. They were fresh out.

It is hard to believe there is better Italian Food in Asheville. If I am wrong please let me know. Vinnie's is the old fashioned place I grew up with, a la Little Italy Trattoria. The portions are large enough for two meals, so plan accordingly. The night we went there everyone had a parmesan dish. Veal, Chicken, and Egg... More

Would prefer the Veal Piccatti not to have much gravy. Cook, use sliced lemons, capers & serve without so much gravy.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of food served by Vinnie's. This restaurant would have to rate near the top of my list of Italian restaurant experiences - outside of New York. We had mussels for an appetizer and they were outstanding. My companion had a veal dish and I had the spaghetti with meatballs and sausage with... More

I called two weeks ahead to reserve the Banquet room at 6:30 this past Saturday and was told we had the room reserved for 20 - 23 people. Then they gave the room to another group after I had reserved it and told me we could come after 8pm but that was too late for us. The explanation was that... More

Asheville is a phenomenal food city but there is definitely a dearth of good neighborhood Italian. Based on positive reviews my party of 9 decided to give Vinnie's a shot. Parking is good and atmosphere is great. They have nice NY prints on the wall and the waiter Mike was intelligent and personable. The menu is vast and includes all... More

In Asheville for one night. Great restaurant with wonderful food, exceptional service. Perfect for all ages. We had Scallops which were pan seared to perfection, Parmesan encrusted whitefish which was absolutely delicious in a light sauce, and fettucini Alfredo, garlicky and creamy. Our server was Mike, who was gracious, attentive, and helpful. Also a very personable bartender (Doug I think)... More
