We have been to this restaurant many times but this time we got to enjoy their new patio for dining. The patio is non-smoking and the sign says they do allow dogs. I had my favorite dish "Sunday Gravy" which is spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. The portions are large and it was as good as ever. Service was very... More

We came in on an incredibly busy Saturday. Our wait time was more than 30 minutes and, honestly, the food took even longer. I would stop my review right there. However, our server Sean, the manager, and what seemed like the entire staff were so helpful, sincere, and friendly, that I felt like I had to write about it. They... More

Friend had Spaghetti with Sunday Gravy (comes with 2 each meatballs and sausage)--excellent choice! I sampled it and agreed. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese with ground beef, veal, sausage, cream, red wine-tomato sauce. It did taste good, but the meat was undiscernible (very fine pieces in the sauce) and I've never had Bolognese with pink sauce (usually it's red). Service... More

We ate at Vinnie's on our first and third nights in Asheville, our first trip to this beautiful city. The staff is so friendly, from the hostess through all the servers. The eggplant parmigiana was delicious, as was the spaghetti with Sunday gravy. Portions are generous but not so overwhelming. Complimentary bread is served. Dining is available inside/outside. Food is... More

We had the best meal ever at Vinnie's tonight ...and I don't mean just meals that we've had at that restaurant. I mean anywhere ! It was listed on their specials insert to their menu this evening. We started out with their outstanding mussels and a Caesar salad. Our server, Thea, then brought us a basket of assorted breads with... More

The six of us arrived with our call ahead at seven o'clock and were seated promptly. They will give you favorite seating with a call ahead for 5 or more (they don't take reservations). After we were seated was when the meal went down hill. We started with two "Antipasti Di Famiglia" for the 6 of us ($30), they where... More

For our first trip to Asheville we had the good fortune to choose Vinnie's Neighborhood Italian Restaurant for our evening meal. Our server Kelly was wonderful answering all our questions about the menu and the city. We all had the Lasagna and a Greek salad and both were some of the best I have ever eaten, not to mention the... More
