It has been four month since our last visit. We were reluctant to visit again since the prior two visits had been horrible. However, we had a gift certificate due to our prior terrible visits so we decided to give it another shot. We are so glad we did! The visit tonight reminded us of why Vinnie's was one of... More

Vinnie's is our absolute favorite restaurant in Asheville. The food is superb, the prices are affordable and the staff (especially David) is impossibly friendly. It's very busy on weekends but always worth the wait. Our favorite is the baked ziti; it's enough food for two people to split and feel comfortably full but still have room for their incredible ricotta... More

Great food, service, atmosphere, everything! My wife ordered the chicken parmesan penne and I got the meatball calzone. Both were incredible! Very big servings! Our server Arturo was very friendly and helped make it a great evening. Everyone should eat here!

Stopped in on January 1st after a full day of recovering from NYE in Asheville. I looked up the top restaurants on my TripAdvisor App and decided to head toward Vinnie's from the Grove Park. Walking in we were warmly greeted by all the wait staff and those in the kitchen. It was about 8pm with no wait and we... More

We are from asheville and bought an asheville independent restaraunt passport this year. I'd seen Vinnies so many times in passing but never thought to go. I am so glad we did...this is the best Italian spot and has a great authentic feel. The spaghetti and meatballs were amazing and also the tiramisu! Service started off a little slow due... More

Apparently a popular place, but I do not know why. Not my experience! Went with two friends. The good news, the way was short. The bad news, just about everything else. Starting with the waiter. He tried to be nice. Also funny. Never a good idea to try to be funny at their expense, and you do not know them.... More

We went to Vinnie's on the advice of a friend we were visiting and were very pleased with our experience. Thankfully, we went early during the week so we didn't experience the wait and we were seated right away. One warning, we were first seated near the door on a cold night and asked to be relocated which they quickly... More

Ordered tea to start with and the water was luke warm. Sent it back and they returned hot water. Then I ordered Spaghetti with tomato sauce. I mentioned to the waitress that I don't like clumps of tomato in the sauce. What she served was again luke warm spaghetti with clumps of tomato in it. So much for listening.... Sent... More

If you are in the mood for Italian, then Vinnie's is your place. Be forewarned that Vinnies is a small compact, crowded eatry. The food is very good. On Monday nights they offer half off wines by the bottle. It will be not advisable for those who are wheelchair bound due to space constraints. It is a "happening place."
