Excellent dining experience!

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent value, and excellent service. Some of the best Italian food we've ever eaten and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very cool and all of the staff was very warm and inviting. Our server David was the best!

Average. Got the meal for take out. No cesar dressing on the salad and no marinara sauce that was said to come on the side. Pretty lame that a resturant priding itself on authenticity cannot remember these two simple ingredients. Definitely better choices in Asheville.

We ate dinner there last Sunday night. The food was barely warm, the cheese on the chicken parm was burned and the spaghetti was sticky/gummy - I think it was reheated...gross. We told the server and he offered a replacement meal which we passed on. The lasagna was also lukewarm, but a pasta with scallops dish was deemed delicious ..

Found Vinnies on here and so glad we picked it! Great service, food, and atmosphere! We will definitely be back when we visit Asheville again! Zoe was our waitress and she was so friendly and knowledgable.

Visiting Asheville and trying new restaurants frequently. Found some pretty great food. As an Italian American I can say the food at Vinnie's is authentic. The service was equally fantastic. The menu was fairly extensive and I had a hard time making a selection. I finally chose Pan Seared Sea Scallops - Linguini with fresh tomatoes, basil, garlic, capers, red onion, and... More

Vinnies is great true Italian. My brother who is in the navy and spent time in Italy says it's the best Italian he's had since then. They have great weight staff and great atmosphere. Kids eat free with an adult entree on Sunday's. Friday's are half priced martinis. They make great original mixed drinks too. Don't leave without trying their... More

Well I waited a couple meals before writing this review so I could give perspective. Tonight we sit here still in Asheville wanting to go out to eat and the only place we'd be willing to tackle the icey winter storm. Our meal was superb. What I loved was their willingness to create a simple dish that I just wanted... More

I wanted to take my wife out for our 34th Valentine's Day dinner. I decided to take her to our little Italian restaurant, Vinnie's Neighborhood Italian! I called the night before, to let them know it would be a special night and I wanted a great night for my wife. The new manager, Richard, got us to a table immediately.... More

Vats of pre-made, tasteless sauces. Cook fresh each time and every dish- why is this a foreign concept to Asheville. Cafeteria level of skill. Recipes sub-par. Not Authentic Italian in anyway. Service good and ambience was fine.
