Just happened upon this spot for Sunday brunch and we lucked out! Unlike downtown plenty of parking and great, I mean fantastic food. The waitress Leisa was so helpful and her recommendation on what to order we're spot on. Will come again for sure

We go to Asheville 1-2 times each year and every time we make an effort to go to Rise n Shine at least once, but to be honest we usually end up going more. We are usually an eggs and bacon couple, but last time my husband broke out of his box and got the special. It was wonderful! Great... More

Breakfast at Rise N Shine was wonderful. The coffee was hot and fresh and the Bacon Eggs Benedict hit the spot. We left empty plates, ready to start the day.

We stopped in on our first morning in town. The servings were a little small for my husband, but perfect for me. The food was delicious, service was friendly and the view outside where we sat was fantastic.

We came here because we did not want to wait at the breakfast places downtown that we tried to eat at first. The food was not fantastic, but it was good and filling. A few steps up from a Waffle House in my opinion - not in a bad way. I think it is a little pricey for what it... More

This is a tiny little place that serves a fantastic breakfast with lots of fresh and local ingredients. Great coffee. A litte cramped inside but they do offer outdoor covered seating.

We had a good breakfast. I ordered the egg white omelet with three vegetables. It came with bacon and fruit. It was very tasty. I also had a cup of decaf coffee which was also good. My husband ordered pancakes which were made with whole wheat flour. I tried one and it was very good as well. My only complaint... More

My wife and I go to rise and shine when we need a great breakfast without the wait you get downtown. The portions are a little smaller than some of the others, but the prices are also a little bit lower. If you want to save a little cash, avoid a food coma, or both this is the place to... More

Four of us met here for a late breakfast on Sunday. Not as crowded as usual, perhaps because of the holiday weekend? I debated between my favorite (the Avocado Melt) or the Kickin Chicken Salad. I skipped the wonderful bread, and got the salad with the homemade vinagrette. It was very good, but not "kickin' good." The chicken salad is... More

Believe it or not, it can be hard to find a "normal" breakfast in Asheville. Many of the places featuring breakfast are really making cuisine of it. And, while they are all yummy, it can be a bit much. Rise n Shine was a reprieve: a tasty, laid-back plain breakfast. OK, first off it's in a little shopping strip just... More
