Olive or Twist is located across the street from the Four Points Sheraton. It's kind of off the beaten path, but it's a great place to have a drink and listen to live music in the evenings. The mixologist/bartender was very well versed, she could make just about anything. We stopped by for lunch one afternoon. We placed our order,... More

Went here late night as the band was getting ready to play their final set. Loved watching the dancers, some of whom were really good. Didn't have anything to eat, so I can't say anything about the food. Would definitely go again.

The place was packed, however, Anna and her newly hired mixologist, Elisa, were incredidibly attentive and entertaining. Had the trout Amandine, wow, it was amazing! Definitely try the St. Germaine Martini, it's very good and they strong pour for sure. Enjoy!!!

Had a amazing nite out of dancing! The band was amazing and the dance floor was roomy. There were a lot of great dancers so when I wasn't on the floor it was fun to watch.

My husband and I travelled from Nashville and as first time visitors we weren't sure where a great dinner place would be. We looked it up online and since this was under the steakhouse section of visit Asheville we thought we would give it a go. When we arrived we waited 10 minutes at the Please wait to be seated... My sister and I had dinner here with a long island ice tea. The ribeye, vegetables and artichoke & spinach dip, and drinks were very good. Very refreshing to see live jazz music performed. Music was by the 42nd Street Band. Several couples enjoyed the music by dancing. No complaints except the service was slow due to too many tables... More

We had a group of 13 for a bachelorette party go here last weekend. I made the reservation for 7:30 PM and had to call and push it back to 8 PM. They were very friendly and accommodating about me having to change the time. When we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by the live jazz band, which... More

What the? While the dancers seemed to be having a good time, we had to beg for service. It was slow, it was shoddy, it was bad. Finally, we get to place our order, the food comes out--minus one dinner. The rest of politely wait, when it's apparent my friend's food is not forthcoming, she graciously urges us to eat... More

We want everybody to have a good time at Olive or Twist. I want to apologize for the service you received while dinning that is not what we want. As far as the Mussels go the server should have known from the board in the kitchen. Balsamic vinaigrette is made of vinegar and oil so it is going to have... More

First off - I posted this same review on Google: We went here even though other reviews were "luke warm". We travel a great deal and spend a lot of time looking for unique and hopefully locally owned restaurants. Enter the Olive or Twist. The atmosphere and ambience was exactly what we wanted, the menu was solid and the location... More

I took a group of conference attendees to this restaurant on a weekday night. The restaurant wasn't crowded. We had several appetizers. I had a salad and ribeye. Both were delicious. My group enjoyed the evening.
