Their truffles are incredibly delicious. Also, their chocolate all comes from organic sources. Their mixtures are often creative, and the results speak for themselves - delicious!

My wife and I had heard great things about the Chocolate Lounge and decided to swing by one day while in Asheville. We're glad that we did. My wife had a chocolate mousse of some sort that was excellent while I had the raspberry creme brulee, which is one of the best desserts I have ever had. I highly recommend... More

Oh, my. This is a quintessential chocolate experience. They roast their own cocoa beans locally. All chocolates are hand-crafted. You can have chocolate in liquid, bakery, or confectionary forms. They are all, yes all, delicious, mouth-pleasing, and creative. I always give a small box to first-time visitors to Asheville. Chocolate with lavender, chili peppers, salt -- you name it, they... Everything was great. There was nothing bad I could say about this place. It is in an old building downtown. It is so funny because most of the time you have to wait in line outside to get in like a nightclub. We had people driving by wondering what was going on. The hot chocolate was to die for as... More

Stopped here for dessert and boy was it rich! I got a chocolate mousse parfait and my wife got a brownie and they were delicious! Nice laid back vibe to get your chocolate fix.

My family and I love the French Broad Chocolate Lounge! Their Chocolate Creme Brulee is to die for! We love the ambiance, the location and of course all the chocolate! My husband's favorite is their Quintessential Chocolate Cake, my son's, the Peanut Butter Tumbler, and I go back and forth between the Chocolate Creme Brulee, the Flourless Chocolate Truffle Torte... Asheville is a great place for chocolate lovers and this place is no exception. I had an excellent melted dark chocolate truffle that while pricey was worth it. Nice atmosphere as well - it was really busy when I visited so it must be popular!
