This cake was not worth the money! The food was good though. Eat and go somewhere else for dessert. The restaurant seems to be a busy place.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend in December and ate breakfast here. The service was great and the atmosphere matches the hotel which is like a hunting lodge. I had the full breakfast with a short stack and eggs any style with bleu cheese grits on the side. It was great. My wife had the fried green tomato... More

The rustic hunting decor complete with wall trophies makes for a cozy cool atmosphere. The food was really good: I had the trout - a large tasty serving. My wife had the filet and liked it. The service was slow as I think our waitress was waiting on a large party in the private room next to us. We had... More

Recently went to Red Stag Grill for lunch with a friend. Our first visit there. Just passing through and thought we'd try it. The restaurant is inside the posh Grand Bohemian Hotel. Loved the atmosphere and the food but the waitress was not friendly. Not rude but just no personality. (she may have been having a bad day, or just... More

I have had dinner here three times now and thought it was about time to write a review... if for no other reason than to thank the great staff. The food is extremely well prepared and well presented. A lot pricey though, so reserve this restaurant for special occasions or an expense account. Love the warm and relaxing atmosphere. I... More

Disinterested, slow service. At 7:30 they were "out" of 2 featured menu items (they clearly never had them at all that evening), which diner after diner requested. Inexcusable in a so-called top-notch restaurant. My filet & gnocchi were served lukewarm. Rectangular table for two was turned so that my husband and I had to either shout or use sign language... I’m very sorry to hear about your mediocre experience. I have shared your comments with our Executive Chef so he and his team can take the necessary corrective measures. Unfortunately, we did run out of halibut for one night and offered grouper in its place. We truly apologize for the inconvenience this created. That’s certainly not a typical occurrence. We... More

Although we did not stay at the Grand Bohemian Hotel, we did eat at the Red Stag Grill. The bar was very crowded and seats were difficult to get. The lodge atmosphere from the lobby continues into the bar. Lots of wood and dimly lit, so the lighted menus came in handy. We ordered from the bar menu and our... More

I loved the lite up menus and the atmosphere but the food...this place is very expensive for what you get. The food was just ok, seems like the chef tries to put stuff together that is just plain weird. We went to celebrate our son's graduations and wished we had gone to Curate instead. We weren't fans and won't go... More

Located in the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Biltmore Village, this dining venue continues the "Black Forest hunting lodge" theme found throughout the hotel. The menu is not extensive but details a diversity of offerings, with some wild game items as well as conventional selections. The elk tenderloin was superbly prepared to highlight the unique sweet flavor of elk. Presentation was... More
