Definitely some choices that I haven't seen elsewhere! We went for some of the more ordinary dishes, the cheese board to start, then hanger steak and scallops as the main courses. All were excellent.

I love this place. The food is very good. You never know what's going to be on the menu. The chefs are the hardest working people I have ever seen. They never stood still. Service was excellent. Attentive, but not overbearing. Never had to look for my waiter to fill my tea glass. I had the octopus appetizer, and the... More

My wife and I were visiting Asheville as part of our 35th anniversary trip. We went to Cucina 24 for dinner on our anniversary. It was recommended by the Inn where we were staying. The evening was incredible. The hostess greeted us with Happy Anniversary and they gave each of us champagne the moment we sat down. That just started... More

I wasn't quite sure how to review this place. I came here twice during my most recent stay in Asheville. Once just for drinks pre dinner elsewhere, the second time, for dinner (but we also had drinks). I will start by talking about my first experience - at the bar. Donny (or is it Donnie?) is the resident bartender and... More

I recommend the hen of the woods with the amazing oxtail marmalade, the duck (much better than the duck I had in in Paris in June), the hanger steak AND the cinnamon gelato. My husband says the hanger steak was the best meat he had ever had. This is my new favorite restaurant!

We went on a quiet Sunday night with limited service for our anniversary. Our waiter was wonderful - writing down the wine we had for dinner as well as making excellent recommendations. The appetizer was a burrata salad that had the most amazing tasting cheese that I can remember. We had the duck as our entree which was truly delicious... More

From the minute we sat down and Robertino took over, we knew we were in good hands. We had a large birthday party group and he handled it seamlessly. I had the best striped bass I have ever had after a delicious crabmeat salad with turnips, apples and black garlic aioli. All 9 of us were thrilled with the quality,... More

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend in Asheville and did the "Eating Asheville" tour. Our guide, Stewart highly recommend this place so we went ahead and made a reservation. The food was out of this world! The menu varies every day but we started with the crab, which was great, then the squash blossoms which were incredible, I... More

We have eaten a LOT of meals in Italy, and can say with confidence that the folks who are running this restaurant have too. The ingredients, flavors, and style are so similar to ones we've had in Italy, with some local pizazz from Asheville. We enjoyed our first night at Cucina 24 so much that we returned the very next... We booked a reservation here while we were on our food tour with Eating Asheville. The owner booked us a table himself later in the evening since they were almost fully booked. Our group each ordered different meals, and we each sampled it all. We had quail, rabbit, and steak. We even split a pizza, which had figs and goat... More
