Creative Menu that Changes Daily

We absolutely loved everything we ate on our first visit to Cucina 24! The menu changes every day so it's always something delicious and interesting. We ordered a lot of food and wine, so the bill was pretty high. But if you were to just order an entree it's really not that expensive. It's a nice... read more

Took our family of 6 for dinner. Great ambience but service was average. Pasta dishes were limited and meal was disappointing. 80's rock music was playing in the background which was out of place for an Italian restaurant.

I had the privileged seat with a view of the kitchen crew working their magic. When my pork chop with root vegetables arrived, I could hardly believe my taste buds when I took the first bite.

I have dined at this restaurant several time in the past year. This visit was distinguished by bring totally non memorable. I ordered a Hendricks gin martini. "Sorry, we are out of Hendricks gin", was our waiters response. Really. On a Saturday night at the beginning of the high tourist season. I asked about the evenings specials. There were none.... Nice break for a meal after a craft fair. I had the mussel.s which were delicous. Ordered the cheeseboard to go with. Nice meal.

For the life of me I don't know why this restaurant is so consistently careless about the details that makeup a fine dining experience. We met some out-of-town friends for dinner last night at Cucina 24 and ended up having the oh-so-typical C24 experience. A gruff "do you have a reservation?" at the entrance to the almost empty restaurant was... More

After spending time last summer with relatives in Tuscany, i have new standards for Italian food in America. This was absolutely incredible. My waiter Rich was very helpful in guiding me through the menu. I had the burrata as an appetizer (hard to find in any NC restaurants and theirs is made in house. The moved on to the campanelle... The menu has so many interesting options, it's hard to choose just a few plates. The pizza is a must with its thin crust and interesting toppings (rabbit sausage is out of this world). The wine list is varied and the service is superb. And then there are the complimentary breadsticks like no other . . . wow. Cucina 24... More

I visited Cucina 24 with my mom and uncle. My mom is a picky eater, and she didn't really feel comfortable with the variety Cucina had to offer but enjoyed the bolognese pasta. My uncle and I, who are more adventurous, particularly enjoyed the food. I had the snapper, which was to die for, and the appetizers were also delicious.... More

I hosted a business party of 16 for dinner. The overall experience was very good. The service however was a bit slow. The food was very good, but short of excellent. Some of the pasta dishes seemed to try too hard to be different. Sometimes staying to the tried and true pays off better. The wine list was a disappointment... More
