The only other mellow mushroom I have dined at was in Raleigh, NC. The wait staff was rushed and not very attentive The food was Ok but not exceptional. If you have kids - take them - otherwise pass. more

My husband, 23 mo old daughter and I enjoyed a great dinner here. The tossed salad was average but the veggie pizza (the special one, not the basic one) was the best ever, and we are vegetarians and pizza lovers. My husband also enjoyed a local, organic microbrew. We eat here a lot....love the house special pizza and the pretzel knots. Service is usually good. Atmosphere is very laid-back. If I could change anything it would be the cleanliness. It is in need of a makeover. more

This restaurant is located in downtown Asheville, so there is no adjacent parking. There are a bunch of parking garages around and they are economical ($5), so unless you get lucky and find street parking this is the way to go.
