We went on a busy Mother's Day weekend and were able to walk right in when the Bistro opened. Wanting a light meal, my husband ordered a pizza and I had the delicious trout. Service was wonderful, the wine excellent. I would definitely return to sample more of the menu- so hard to choose when everything sounded delicious.

This is my favorite place for dinner on the estate. The food is always very fresh -- most of it is grown on the estate -- and is very creative. Items like almond fried brie and goat cheese ravioli are things I've never seen anywhere else. The creme brulee is a permanent fixture on the menu and is fabulous, especially... More

This was our second visit. First time in Dec when we saw the Christmas display at the Estate. We had dinner. It was our anniversary and we had a fantastic meal and excellent service. You'll likely need a reservation...it's available on Open table. Lunch during our May visit was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend Baked Brie appetizer-- it has a wonderful crushed... More

Ate at the Bistro after visiting the winery and before visiting the house. We were seated very quickly next to a window and our server was prompt. My wife got a soup, while I had a pizza. Prices weren't too bad considering where we were. Figured we would have paid way more. Place was quite clean. Dirty/finished dishes didn't stay... More

What a delight to return to spend special events with our friends at The Bistro! Tonight, we celebrated a birthday in the unique Bistro atmosphere....exquisite salad with hazelnut dressing, wonderful scallops, flavorful trout , and a delicious lemon pudding cake dessert with fresh berries.....all very professionally served by Holley!! When Holley or Bobby serve the meal, you will want to... More

Mother-daughter dinner for Mother's Day, on the day after: When we left 2 hours after arriving, my taste-buds were stimulated, ecstatic, and extremely pleased. My daughter chose the wine, a Biltmore Malbec, which was 'big' in flavor and perfect for our evening. The appetizers we chose: a seared scallop which my daughter said melted in her mouth, bursting with flavor... More

We visited the Bistro in the recommendation of some friends. My mom, sister, and niece visited to celebrate our mom's birthday. The restaurant was a little much for my five year old niece, but she did okay. I had the pork chop and it was way over done (read charred), but I don't like to complain. I was doing my... More

The service was attentive, but the meals let alot to be desired. There was a visible disagreement among the staff behind the grill which may have had some impact on the quality of the meals we received. For the cost of our meals, I would not be eager to return.

I think this is the best of the restaurants on the estate. Nice variety though pricey but one can eat modestly. I don't think it is great for young children unless you are able to eat on the patio. There are better choices on the estate.
