We went to the Bistro for an anniversary dinner. We were surprised by the number of families with small children dining at this restaurant. We both ordered the scallops as out entree - there were four scallops for $36. The restaurant knew it was our anniversary and they brought over a lovely complimentary dessert with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate... More

I have written reviews before for the Biltmore Estate, and want to reiterate the high quality of service and menu items again. Visited just this week, and had to dine at the Bistro, it is one of my favorite places to eat in Asheville. Had the Gaspacho Soup appetizer, wonderful! I did add salt and pepper once it got to... After spending 5 hours touring Biltmore Estate and gardens, we were hot, hungry and exhausted. After looking at crowds eating outside at the Cafe next to the Estate, we decided to get a winery tour included in the ticket. We got back to our car a drove several miles to Antler Village. The bistro is located right next to the... More

Lunch on the way to the Estate. Holly was very friendly & served his drinks & excellent fresh-baked bread. Oh so easy to fill up on before the entrees. Italian sausage fettuccine was great, daughters loved the lobster roll on pretzel bun & french onion soup. Excellent atmosphere

My Wife and I celebrated our Anniversary at the Biltmore Estate. Among the Restaurants we visited is The Bistro. We initially had reservations for the Dinning Room however becuase we preferred the Bistro Menu we dined there both nights. Our meals were prepared exactly as we ordered. The second night the Dining Room Supervisor apologized becuase our meals took longer... More

Prices are average/high for the area. Good service. Here is a sample of what we ordered and the costs Diner One - Tomato salad (good tomatoes), lemonade Diner Two - Tomato, artichoke pizza (good crispy crust), blackberry vodka tea (a lot of alcohol) Diner Four - Cheese plate (good selection of cheeses) Diner Three - Baked French Onion Soup(not overly... What a fabulous find! The setting/ambiance was magical. The lunch menu offered a nice variety of French and American selections. We ordered the duck/black truffle pate with a Riesling/black pepper gelee which was quite simply the best we've ever tasted. We even ordered a "to-go" portion. We also shared a heirloom tomato/lettuce salad. For our entree, we shared a steak/frites... More

This is a nice place to eat. Feels like a bistro on the large side unlike the bistros of Paris. The lobster hoagie is fantastic. I was so impressed with the vanilla vinaigrette I asked for the recipe! I used it for bread dipping and salad dressing.

We have eaten the past two evenings in the Bistro and have reservations for two more visits this week. The Bistro offers a warm welcome, way above average wait staff....we are partial to Bobby and Holly...and excellent food. I was raised in a family owned restaurant. Happy employees make guests feel welcomed! Management shows in the attitude!!! Don't miss the... More

We visited the Biltmore Bistro with friends from the area as a treat. Our entire party was not impressed including the locals who have a Biltmore membership and eat there often. It may have been an off night, but everything else on the estate is so well run, there is no reason the Bistro should not better. They start off... More
