Wonderful Food and Service

We were very impressed with the food and our waitress. My husband ordered the Bistro Burger with wonderful truffle fries and I got the Cider Brined Turkey Sandwich with homemade potato chips. It was all very good and I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I ate dinner at this restaurant on April 16, 2015. My husband had the Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve wine which is a very good wine. I had a wine sampling of 3 wines - Malbec and two Cabernet Sauvignons - we both agreed the Alexander Valley is the best of the three that we had -... More

I use to come here all the time when I lived in the area. Went up for a girls weekend and the service sucked and the food was just ok. When I spend $60.00 for lunch I at least expect a smile and a waitress that knows what shes doing. Probably wont be going back here when visiting the Estate.... More

Nice selection of entrees. It was VERY cold in there though! My sisters and I had dressed up as had the table next to us. All of us were wearing coats throughout the meal.

Upon finishing a visit to the Biltmore Estate, and walking through the gardens, we decided to eat lunch before shopping @ the winery. The Bistro @ Biltmore Estate Winey had an eclectic Spring Menu. My mother ordered the French Onion Soup, which I assume is on the menu at any time. She also ordered the Grilled Romaine Salad. As she... More

With so many wonderful restaurants from which to choose in Asheville, I can't see coming here unless you happen to be at The Biltmore and are too hungry to go elsewhere. Our food was okay. In fact, my salmon salad (a special the day we dined) was quite good. My husband's meal was about as average as it gets. We'd... More

Great food. Loved the octopus and the filets. Service was good also. Wish we had come back the next day instead of cedrics.

After a long rainy day of touring the house and gardens we stopped into the Bistro before the wine tour. Our server, Nathan was very attentive and kind. I got the Caesar salad and French onion soup. The salad was great and the soup was okay. The cheese was awesome but the soup was almost too sweet. My friend got... More

We chose to have lunch on Easter Sunday so it was busy. We were seated immediately with a reservation. Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The restaurant ambience was very good. We all had the mountain trout. One of my trout fillets was slightly overcooked. The table bread was excellent and the fried brie cheese was excellent. Do... More

We arrived hungry and thirsty, from a long day of wandering the grounds, gardens and Biltmore house. We opted for wine flights with our lunch and were not disappointed with food nor wine. Our server was very pleasant, but a bit difficult to understand. I think he might benefit from a diction lesson, but very polite nonetheless. We enjoyed seafood,... More
