Quaint Bavarian style restaurant. Server was dressed in a tank top and yoga capris. Not exactly authentic. Only one server that evening. Food was delicious. German potato salad is not authentic or what we expected. Red cabbage from a jar. Everything else schmeckt gut. Very pricey for... read more

This place in tucked in front of cabins you can rent. We went the first night we stayed in the cabins because they gave us a coupon. And we just kept going back! The food was so incredible, and authentically German. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was warm and fun. We closed the place out both nights... More

I had visited this place years ago and was very pleased. My wife and I went back this weekend and we were not disappointed. The food is great, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere is quaint. In an old log cabin, the place feels snug and cozy. Very good draft beer selection (they have my friend Dieter's beer from... More

My wife found the Bavarian Dining Restaurant and Biergarten on line as we were passing through the Asheville area. After living in Germany for 3 years we seek out good German food. We found it here. We had the Rahm Schnitzel and the Jager Schnitzel with Spätzle. Both were very good. The lunch portion was just right. Service was friendly... More

They have great snitzels, goulash and good services. Best red cabbage and warm German potato salads. It will be our get away spot. Appreciate their effort to keep this charming place as close to the real German flavors in USA.

I've been driving by this fanciful little Bavarian Restaurant for years and enjoying the colorful and eclectic exterior set-up. Talked my hubby into stopping by for a beer and a snack on Monday and so glad we did. It was 4:00 in the afternoon so we were the only folks in there, but we sat at the bar and visited... More

My husband and I have dined here each time we've visited the Asheville area, and it is always a great experience. The food is awesome (we've spent lots of time in Bavaria, in the south of Germany, so we can attest that the food is both wonderful quality and authentic) and the service is always attentive and delightful. Definitely take... More

My boyfriend and I went here around 8 on a Sunday night and were told we just missed the dinner rush! We had the place to ourselves for the entirety of our date! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! We will definitely return and recommend it to friends.
