The shared Jagr schnitzel was fantastic along with the honey flavored Octoberfest beer. The apple schrudel with cream and ice cream couldn't be beat

We have by-passed this restaurant many times, not giving it much thought. However, we decided to have a Mother's Day meal there. We love German food and have had a difficult time finding what we would classify as "authentic." This restaurant serves the best German food we have experienced since we lived in Germany many years ago. The German beers... More

This little house was so cute, great outside and inside. They have outside dining but we ate inside which has beer mugs hanging, fun german decorations and multiple rooms. We went during a midweek rush and there was only one waitress. She was running around but always let us know she would be right with us (we weren't in any... More

My parents and I came here on whim for Mother's Day, and it was was beyond incredible. I spent the past summer in Germany, and everything about this restaurant had me reeling in flashbacks. All of the beer is authentic from Pilsner to Hefeweizen to Dunkel. The kartoffel salat was just like what I ate at the Biergarten in the... More

My first visit was simply a great experience. The ambiance of an old log cabin with German touches was one-upped by the extensive menu. Many items not normally found in German restaurants were available such as Ziegeuner Schnitzel, or Rolanden. Additionally, they sell house made Landjeager sausage that tastes divine. We had an excellent server named Ben who I will... More

I have a lot of German in me so me and my dad decided to explode the roots of our family tree. The food was amazing. And the owner, Janice Jenkins, even taught us history of where the food came from and how it is prepared. We felt very welcomed and were 100% pleased with our visit. Its a must... More

During a trip to the Carolinas, we met some friends from Tennessee here on their suggestion and they were right: this place is TERRIFIC! It's off the main highway going north out of Asheville and isn't somewhere you would just stumble into - too bad because it certainly deserves to be more frequented. (One friend's parents had spent their honeymoon... More

We lived in Germany for eight years in the 70's and 80's. Since that time we have been trying to find authentic German food in the States. We have not been successful until this evening. From the appetizers to the main course, the food evoked memories of the wonderful culinary experiences that we had many years ago. We highly recommend... More
