Took my grand kids here for breakfast. They enjoyed the stuffed french toast. I had a BLT. Great coffee. Fast service. Will definitely go again. Large variety of things to try !

Nice variety of cakes and breads here as well as prepared sandwiches. Nice place to sit inside or outside for coffee and cake. Our only issue was lack of vegan options which are abundant in Asheville.

Great breakfasts with fresh fruit and yoghurts. Really good coffee which has taken us a week and many miles to find. Pleasant staff and comfortable seats too.

We went in looking for a snack but there were mainly cakes & we wanted something savory. The warm turkey sandwich was unexpectedly delicious. The siracha really took it to another flavor level!

I can only speak to peach pie, rosemary rolls and chocolate raspberry cake...they were all awesome. Bought to take home. Service was good, friendly. Large portions, more than enough to share after dinner and with breakfast in the morning.

The cup cakes were average nothing to rave about. The coffe and chocolate drink were week and tasted of old ice. Would not go there again.

Went to this place on two of my four mornings in Asheville. The coffee is great, the food is really delicious, and it is fast and easy and casual!

We stayed at the Aloft hotel across the street and decided we wanted another less expensive option for breakfast. We started going to this place everyday. They have a small but nice menu for breakfast including their scallion biscuit sandwiches. Delish. Plenty of room, wifi and great location. Recommend.

I like this place for breakfast now and then. It is not my favorite bakery in AVL, but still quite good. You will also find their bread served at several other restaurants in town.

We're from out-of-town, passing through, and most of the "best breakfast" places didn't open until 9 on a Sunday, but City Bakery was open an hour earlier. We were lined up at 8am and enjoyed a perfect, buttery, fresh cheese biscuit with egg, cheese, and sausage, and some assorted pastries and coffee. We also grabbed a baguette for the ride.... More
