Be sure to drop by for a breakfast biscuit. We can vouch for the tender crusty hot sausage and egg sandwich on a delectable cheese biscuit. Lucky residents who can indulge any old time. I am jealous, y'all!

We went here for breakfast when staying across the street at the Aloft hotel. The menu offers many choices for breakfast from simple pastries to breakfast sandwiches and stuffed french toast. The cheddar scallion biscuits are amazing!! I had the stuffed french toast with local jam and it was the best stuffed French toast I've ever had. My husband had... More

While in Asheville for a conference, my husband and I stopped by here for lunch since it sounded better and cheaper than our hotel's restaurant lunch. I got the BLT with a garden salad, and my husband got the turkey melt with a side salad. I thought the meal was simple, tasty, and it hit the spot. I wanted dessert... More

don't go here for a great selection of baked goods. It doesn't compare to highland bakery in Atlanta. Very average. Nothing wrong with their breads or croissants, but nothing special either.

Food was excellent, place was clean and hip. Staff was friendly. Food took a little bit longer than I liked but it was still well worth it

My husband discovered this bakery during my lazy morning sleeping in at the hotel across the street. He popped over and brought back a melt in your mouth quiche and amazing feta/spinach croissant for me! He grabbed a breakfast sandwich and it was delicious as well. Can't wait to try them for lunch too!

I actually meant to review this bakery during a previous visit, but it is a must for every trip to Asheville. We had lunch there one day, then returned for breakfast on another day. They make everything in-house, and it shows. Super fresh ingredients show through in their excellent offerings. I love their sticky buns, their coffee is delicious, and... More

Before leaving Asheville, we quickly stopped into this Cafe for some food items to take home on our trip and to enjoy upon arriving home. The huge bags that we carried out of the bakery were a testament to how indecisive we were once we stood in front of the array of delicious options! Definitely a great bakery and eatery.... More

After touring Biltmore, a girl gets hungry...I'm here to rave about City Bakery, which was conveniently right across the street from our hotel. Open at 7 am, we enjoyed wonderful croissants and bagels of many varieties which expanded into "to-go" sandwiches and desserts. So, were I to go again, I'd hit City Bakery Café FIRST, and fortified, head on to... More
