While visiting the Arts District we took a break at this cute coffee shop. Decorated with local art , it was a nice place.to talk with comfy cafe chairs. Capacitor a bit too frothy. but baked goods excellent.

Excellent food and atmosphere! Yummy coffee and breakfast options. LOVE The Ford Bagel, Lox and Cream cheese also a winner. They have breakfast sandwiches on toast or Biscuits. (NOTE bagel options are Everything Bagels only) Outdoor seating and rotating art on walls inside. Helps fuel a day of shopping and browsing in the Art District.

Order at the counter and your food will be brought to your table. Nice selection of sandwiches and salads. You can also design your own sandwich as I did, ordering portobello mushroom with Gouda cheese in a wrap -lettuce, tomato, pickle and chips included - and I asked foe it to be grilled. It was delicious! The two other sandwiches... More

Loved the atmosphere. They did have seating on the outside patio as well as an air conditioned seating area inside. I had a turkey sandwich and my friend had a salad with walnuts, cranberries and plenty of greens.

Had an early lunch at the Clingman Cafe on a chilly sunday in March. Tasty food, a small seating area in a separate room from the ordering section ; cheerful interior filled with local art. Have a sandwich and a cup of coffee and hang out to relax.

I had lunch and the place is small, but quite charming. there are a few outdoor tables and there are craft decor for sale. Coffee, tea and paninis/sandwiches were good and fresh.

I have gone to Clingman Cafe on a number of occasions when visiting Asheville. When I first visited Clingman Cafe the Arts District was in its infancy and the Clingman was really the only place in the local area to eat. However, as the Arts District has grown other eating establishments have moved in, but I still gravitate to the... More

We were visiting the glassblowing studio and saw this little gem down the street. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was spot on. Hubby had two lattes. It's quaint, the folks are very friendly making service top notch. We're going back tomorrow morning before heading home.

We had lunch here on a recent visit to Asheville and were very pleased with it. The sandwiches were very tasty and the prices were reasonable. It is small, but they do have some tables outside if the weather is nice AND they have parking, which is hard to find in the area. We will make this a regular stop... More

Went for a walk in River Arts district and ended up having lunch here. Lovely butternut squash bisque for me and a very tasty Reuben for my husband. Nice fruit salad too.
