Great food. BBQ and ribs great. Sides unique and very tasty. Weird hours. Don't worry about line it moves fast. Great service
Have eaten here several times but neglected to review this wonderful place. This time--and for the first time, I tried the corn pudding. Amazing. An, as an FYI, it's available for take-out. (I would be proud to serve this for dinner company.) Of all the types of ribs, we liked the mesquite best. There are always lines here, even in... More
My husband and I visited this restaurant in February for lunch on his birthday. We both love ribs so we were excited to try this restaurant . The ribs were so disappointed in them as we like ribs that have tender meat almost falling off the bones. The ribs we got here were not tender, you had to chew the... More
Really enjoyed the pulled pork, ribs, corn pudding and cheesey grits with jalapeño. Wish i would have tried the collard greens though because it was a lot of corn items. It just didn't dawn on me while ordering. I was worried the jalapeño would be too hot, but they were not at all. Very good.
We had heard the rumors of this place and decided to check it out. Just an FYI, they only make a certain amount of food and when they are out, they are out. It says they stay open until 4pm but they can close early if they run out early, so we showed up at about 11:30am and the line... More
It's been a while since I've eaten here and I just reminded myself why I no longer patronize this place. I do have to admit that at one time it was worth standing in line for that it still gets, but I think those line are due to an old reputation. The quality of food definitely has deceased and your... I probably am not going to say anyhthing that would surprise local folks. Great little spot for bbq, and all good. My daughter has been wanting me to try, and since first time, I stuck with basics, pork, and simply well done. Love the fact that they actually put effort into preparing real quality andvaried sides as well, you will... More
Ribs with brown sugar overcooked and very dry. Carolina sauce ribs better but nothing to write home about. Disappointed. I could bring you to four BBQ places where I live in Louisiana that are much better.
Enjoyed a delicious meal on the patio. The ribs were succulent and loved the collard greens and cheesy grits...yum ! Had the corn pudding for dessert. It was creamy , sweet , and delicious. One caveat...the mac and cheese was just meh, nothing special. Overall, a great place to go when in Asheville.
