This place has no pretense, located in a quasi-industrial area west of downtown Asheville. The BBQ is outstanding, and you get to pick your own sauce. We had the pulled pork sandwiches, which were excellent. Didn't try the ribs or sides, so can't comment on them. But from our experience and what we've read, this place is the real deal. more

The ribs are incredible. Moist, meaty, tasty without tasting smothered. Go there for the ribs. The sides have really declined since opening.
