Friendly waitress brought me a good biscuit with apple butter to start. Quickly served, the meatloaf was very good as were the mashed potatoes and gravy. The cabbage was a bit questionable so I asked them to replace it with another side.

Great value and service. Stopped in for breakfast on a shopping trip to Asheville. We got the all you can eat breakfast for $7.99. This included unlimited bacon, sausage, choice of potatoes, eggs, biscuits and gravy and delicious homemade apple butter!!! Everything was plated first and seconds were served family style. Cute atmosphere and very sweet waitress. Will definitely be... More

We went for breakfast and were delighted with food and service. Good size portions and fresh buttermilk biscuits with apple butter. Hmm....good.

While the food and service were OK, prices very good, the style of food is very Southern Comfort and very fattening. We enjoyed the food, service and price, but so much fat in the food made us sick for days after eating there.

Our group had kayaked all day and was very hungry. We found the Moose Cafe and thought it would fit the bill for hungry paddlers. We were not disappointed. The place handles a crowd very well. The wait staff were all busting their tails hustling between tables. Then there's the food. LOTS of it, all very tasty, and reasonably priced.... More

Good variety of well done Southern style country food. Friendly staff, interesting surroundings. The menu has daily options which reflect what is in season and available at the farmers' market next door.

We kept hearing about this place so we made a stop on our way home to S.C. from vacation. So glad we stopped! Very easy to find. And let me tell you, the hot biscuits and homemade apple butter was awesome!! We liked it so much that we traveled back there for dinner one Friday recently and that's a 3... More

When we travel through the area, we always try and stop to eat. The staff are good, the food is awesome and the environment is cozy. The portions are a good size and there is plenty to eat. The fried chicken, fried rainbow trout and chicken and dumplings are our favorites! We WILL be back!
