wonderful food

We were very happy with our choice to eat here. The biscuits that came to our table were melt in your mouth wonderful and the apple butter to go on them was excellent as well. All the food was good, service was good. We wish it was closer so we could go all the time.

A large menu with something for most everyone. Southern style cooking with large portions, resulting in a "carry out" meal for home later. Food quality is good and meals are served hot by mostly efficient servers. You won't go away hungry or disappointed with the value of your meal but if you don't like Southern style cooking the Moose isn't... More

Loved The Moose! Good country food! Great lemonade! The service was wonderful and our waitress was very attentive! There was a lot of food! I had the chicken tenders and my friend had the chicken livers! We split the strawberry shortcake! It was worth the calories!

The biscuits were just how my mother in law makes them! Old people go there so you know it's good! The restaurant view is amazing with the mountains!

The Moose Cafe is a great place for hearty homemade food. Due to. Medical problem I am on 20 grams of fat a day, so it was a challenge to find something to eat at this place. The waitress was very helpful in trying to make things work. Besides my grilled chicken tenders I had a salad with no dressing.... More

Our first breakfast here will not be our last. Do not miss the Moosecake, a gigantic, fluffy pancake. My husband chose the blueberry Moosecake and he is now in LOVE! The thick bacon, potatoes and eggs are amazing. An added plus is the Farmer's Market next door for shoping after breakfast.

The Moose Cafe is next to the Farmer's Market with plenty of parking. I stopped in for an early breakfast on Sunday morning. I was warmly greeted and given a choice of table or booth. Being given an option was a bit of a surprise since I was dining alone and it was Mother's Day morning. I picked a booth... More

The cafe has the "down home" open air feeling. The service was courteous, friendly and prompt. The menu has a large selection from which to choose, and a nice variety of sides. With the drinks came warm muffins and apple butter. We ordered the chicken and country fried steak with sides of green beans, coleslaw, mashed potatoes and red beats.... More

Highly recommended. This place has excellent food. The service was very friendly, tended to me quickly and was willing to answer questions I had without issue. I ordered and my food was out very quickly. I was surprised. When I first got there, the seated me and quickly the server came out and dropped off a biscuit and applesauce. Had... More
