We researched where to dine in Gunnison, and this seemed to Be the best choice, and it was. This is great food with exotic influences. A nice fusion of American food and Asian/Indian/Thai made for exciting dining but still recognizable dishes. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was good. We will return. I enjoyed... More

We saw where this was the number one restaurant in Gunnison so on a recent trip here we decided to give it a try. There was a large party of a about 15 people finishing up a celebratory dinner. We sat down and waited for quite a while before we were given menus or water. The food was delicious. I... More

You can tell at first bite, without being told, that the food is prepared with freshly grown items, many of which are harvested in the garden out back of the restaurant. Our server pushed the roasted brussels sprouts as a starter and we are so glad she did. That was a very flavorful dish ( we especially loved the addition... More

We ordered off the Asian/Fusion portion of the menu and were delighted. The portions were so large we thought we couldn't finish, but we got to talking to the fellow travelers at the next table and ate every bite! They're not afraid of spice here.

My husband and I stopped for dinner after long day touring between Aspen and Gunnison. Shrimp and Udon noodles was outstanding. Lettuce wrap appetizer was as described in an earlier review, so worth getting even if you are getting an entree as well. I had Vietnamese tacos. Filling but surprisingly light. Had good wine and beer choices. Great wait staff... More

Stopped by on our way to Crested Butte. We have eaten in many special places but this is so unique for a town for which you have to have a reason for stopping on the way to Crested Butte. We were delighted with everything we ordered and only wished that we had more room for other taste treats. Physically, the... More

Spent a night in Gunnison while toring Colorado. Twisted Fork received many positive online reviews s we thought we'd give it a try. It did not disappoint. Tasty food, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. Would go back again if ever in Gunnison again.

We were staying in Gunnison the night before visiting the National Park. As we walked the main city drag looking for something more than just the usual pub grub we stopped to look at this refreshing menu. As we were reading the versatile offerings a couple inside waiting to pay their check motioned us to come inside. They were quick... More

We spent several days hiking near Gunnison Colorado and ate at The Twisted Fork because its name was catchy. The owner, chef, bartender (staff wear different hats) worked at Takashi in Chicago (Asian Fusion with a twist of French cuisine). The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the food delicious and creative. Bill had Vietnamese Tacos ("a Mexican classic bursting... More
