Great take out place.

We get takeout from this place every time we are in town. The food is cooked fresh while you wait and is very tasty. I am getting hungry again just writing this review. They have a huge menu and offer just about everything.

Stopped by for lunch after our Dogsledding ride. Wanted a quick lunch before heading back to hotel. We all ordered the lunch combo, which comes with soup, spring roll, crab rangoon and fried rice. Hot and sour soup was decent, crab rangoon was a little different not sure what was the filling it was yellowish, i didn't like it just... More

We had lunch on Saturday and were looking forward to it since we had eaten there several times in past visits to Gunnison. We ordered chicken lo mein and cashew chicken. When we got our meal we were somewhat disappointed. The food was pretty bland and tasteless. We weren't sure how they could make these dishes so tasteless, but they... More

Stopped last night with my two teens on our drive through. We were tired and they wanted Chinese for dinner. The parking lot appeared full of locals so I was agreeable...I should not have been. It took them 30 minutes to get us water and menus. Yes I know we should have left but we were tired...when the food finally... More

House of China has been a family favorite of ours for over 20 years. The food is amazing and the owners are quality people. Dine in or carry out, and they almost always have the ability to deliver. If you are in for an alcoholic adventure, try one of their legendary Aku Aku Bowls! The lunch menu is the best... More

I was passing through town and decided to grab some Chinese and take to my hotel. When I walked in there was a huge table in the process of ordering - I gave the girl my carry out order and asked he if she could put it in quickly so I didn't get behind that huge table. She said no... More

Great family run restaurant. You can't find a nicer guy than Tony, the owner. I've been living in China and Asia for 8 years since I was a regular there many years ago. He still remembered me and we spoke a little Mandarin about some mainland China food. The prices are good and the food and service is great!

Super tasty food with a nice selection of veg and tofu dishes. I ate the whole serving of tofu w/ garlic sauce and the empress chicken disappeared from the plate. The food tasted fresh and came with hot tea, bonus! The restaurant was very clean and service was very efficient and the booths were comfortable. A nice meal and super... More

I love Chinese food, and the sweet-sour chicken and pork and General Tso's chicken are my favorites. The potstickers, crab rangoons and egg drop soup are very tasty. The drinks are okay, but their signature "Aku Aku Bowl" is so good. A few different citrus juices and rums make this the tastiest drink ever. Available on fire or not. Great... More

This trip was the second time I've eaten here (the first time was last year) and both times the food was delicious. My kids loved the food too. The portions are generous. I was surprised to find such a tasty Chines meal in a small town. The only downside was that service was a bit slow (not terrible though) because... More
