After reading the TA reviews we choose to stop here for lunch when passing through town. Lunch was amazing and awesome. Service quick. Restaurant at lunch time, very busy!! Non-stop! I ordered a wonderful Surefire turkey sandwich on wheat bread and my husband ordered the ham and pastrami sandwich on a Luna roll. We both raved about our lunch and... More

Visited for lunch and was not disappointed. Was lucky to be there on a day they offered the "Kitty" (AMAZING tuna melt) and it was oh so good. It was served with a small pasta salad and tortilla chips. Small sitting area. Place was full for lunch. Many locals were there. Would highly recommend.

Long wait at the W Cafe next door led me to this place, and oh what a great surprise. Order and pay at the counter. Immediate seating. $5 for a huge omelette on a bagel, with coffee. Extra coffee is self-serve for $0.25/cup and they even had honey out to boot. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was cool and the... More

My husband and I decided to try this spot due to the high Trip advisor reviews. Definitely not disappointed! We stopped by in the morning to pick up sandwiches for our lunch after we finished hiking. They were more than happy to wrap our food securely for our cooler. And these sandwiches are AWESOME! So much so that we returned... More

Firebrand is an extension of every local's kitchen. Consistently awesome! Some favorites : Sweet Potato Porridge for breakfast, a hot Vespucci Royale on rye for lunch. Don't miss the Happy Kitty every other Wednesday!

We got some to-go sandwiches here one afternoon not long before they closed. It was still pretty busy, and the kind lady at the check out told us it would take about 20 minutes to get our sandwiches ready. That was fine, and we took the opportunity to walk around town a bit. The sandwiches were great - definitely worth... More

I'm not sure how they get a simple sandwich to taste so great, but they do. I was disappointed because I wanted to try a locally-made luna roll, but my hummus/cheese/avocado on toasted sourdough turned out to be awesome. We waited about 20 minutes, but it was worth it. We stopped as we were driving from Grand Junction to Colorado... More

The service here can be fragmented, and sometimes the soup is bland, but overall it's very good. Funky atmosphere inside is fun.

One might wonder how a cash only restaurant only open a few hours a day, could stay business. Well once you eat here you won't wonder anymore! Wonderful food with wonderful staff at this traditional (Mom & Pop) shop. The Selection is amazing with everything being freshly made. Just remember to bring some Cash. The SureFire Sandwich is a SureWin

We stopped here for a quick lunch based on Trip Advisor reviews. I had a turkey sandwich and my wife had a hot ham and cheese sandwich. They were very fresh and tasty. The place is very crowded though so be ready to stand in line for 15 minutes and about 15 minutes more for your food.
