I'm sure there are a ton of amazing Cuban restaurants in South Florida, so I was a bit disappointed by Casavana. The food was good: I tried a cuban sandwich, which was pretty good. The bread seemed to be stale and dry, but I am not sure if that is how it is supposed to be. The plantain chips... read more

I've been ordering food from this place for about about 2 years and I've never had a problem like this. I ordered a pan con croqueta, which I have been ordering since forever, and what I received today is a shame(picture shown). To add insult to injury I called to complain about it hoping I would get the product that... More

This place is awesome, the atmosphere is great, the staff is super friendly and the food is phenomenal. The plates are huge so come hungry! I ordered the Cuban fajitas with the brown/black bean rice, which were delicious! Yum!

There are some great dishes here but every-time we have have food here, we have a disinterested and unfriendly experience in relation to service. Its annoying because some of the food is very good. In our last order we received the wrong dishes but didn't feel like driving back to correct it. Also, the man who took the order on... More

Great food and great service and able to handle a large crowd. Atmosphere is extremely pleasant and the staff is very friendly and don't mind if you butcher the language trying to order.

I'm not a fan of Casavana. The food to my palate is tasteless. I have eaten there for breakfast and a lunch and neither one had anything to recommend. It is an average restaurant.

We are rather new to Cuban cuisine, but as this restaurant was close to our hotel, we thought we would try it, and they were still open on Sunday evening. The atmosphere was that of an average chain restaurant. I was surprised to see they had a take out window. Our wait staff person was struggling with English ,and our... More

After a long travel day, really wanted some Cuban food but didn't want to drive into Miami. This place was right across from our hotel so we gave it a go. About half full at 8pm Saturday night. We split sangria which was refreshing and not too sweet. Tried the combo criollo - pork was tender and delicious, tamal and... More

This was my first Cuban experience and it was absolutely delicious. Easy access from our hotel across the street and the leftovers were still yummy the next morning. If I lived in Homestead, I would eat here regularly!!
