Huge portions

Great Cuban restaurant with huge portions and an extensive menu. The prices were very reasonable. It's open for breakfast and takeout too.

We had travelled all day and were staying across the street. I did not want yo drive so we walked over to this place. The service was good. The food was was also good, but nothing exceptional. The rice and beans were slightly warm and some of the meat a little dried out. Will probably not return

Went here with group fo 6 based on reviews being pretty favorable. Unfortunately the meat was exceedingly overcooked. The pork and chicken dishes were WAY dry and not very flavorful. Borderline inedible. My fried cheese sticks sounded so yummy, but in reality they were not hot and had a rubbery texture. Even though 2 of our party complained we they... More

This Cuban restaurant is very good with authentic Cuban cuisine and flavors. Pork chunks where tender enough to cut with your fork. The steak temperature was asked on the Palomilla steak which is often rare because they usually cook it very well. My husband was pleasantly surprised and because of it the steak was tender and juicy. The raw onions... More

Nice Cuban food, friendly staff, nice place. We had shrimps in galic, pork "chuleton" (enormous), chicken fajitas - nice and plenty, all served with delicious rosted plantain bananas and rice.

An average looking place, but with real cuban food. Coffee was the best we had in FL. Traveled from Philly to Key West on strength of NYT review of Cuban coffee place/laundromat (don't bother), coffee in Casavana way better, pot of strong stuff, cup with milk, combine on your own. Yum! Also had toasted cuban bread, other breakfast stuff. Coffee... More

Two of us ordered a pork dish that was unremarkably plain. One ordered a shrimp dish and he said the sauce tasted just like Campbell's tomato soup. Our fourth person ordered the daily special, which was a chicken fricassee. Strange brown sauce. Our server, while friendly, was pretty bad. Two plates came out and it was at least 5 minutes... If you are into some good savory Latin food and best of all their coffee you will love Casavana. Go up to the side window for a quick bite to eat (empanadas anyone) & a cafe or go inside and enjoy some pollo empanizado, chuletas, rice w/ beans or the likes. The best part you will be surprise with the... More
