Many of my colleagues like this restaurant because of the food. I had the Fiesta Platter which was good. The service was friendly, the taste was good. It was too much food. We'll be back. It is a nice place to visit.

I know this is a favorite for many up in Miami but not the best Mexican in Homestead. Food is marginal at best. My last experience there was murdered by a cockroachin At our table. Not a restaurant I would return to.

Service was super slow, we didn't find the quantity generous at all. Not authentic, no Mexicans in the kitchen, menus are in English only which i guess should have been a sign. A local shop in an affluent Mexican neighborhood would have had menus in Spanish or at least both languages in order to serve the local clientele. Live and... More

They have the best homemade salsa and chips. Also a big fan of their chimichanga. A must have when ever in the area. The staff is aways friendly and very welcoming.

My chicken burrito was stuffed with shredded, tender, white meat chicken. No rice or bean fillers! A huge burrito served enchilada style, covered in sauce and cheese. My husband had the shredded beef burrito, stuffed with tender, juicy and flavorful beef. Again no fillers! His side of rice was just OK, not very good as some of it was hard.... More

We walked in and a gentleman advised us to find a seat. We did and we sat there for quite sometime before we were acknowledged. The table behind us asked for doggie bags as the waitress was on her way to our table so she just tossed the menus on our table and continued to speak to them and then... More

was around Homestead with hubby one evening and we stop at El Toro Taco to have dinner. Very affordable, I had some tostadas, they were really good, and my husband had tamales, he said they were the best he tried. It's an old restaurant but still good. Will go back again. :D

El Toro Taco has delicious Mexican food! I usually enjoy a lunch special ($5 or $6!) in house or call ahead for takeout. If you eat in-house, you can BYOB! They are the oldest Mexican restaurant in Homestead and I won't go anywhere else.

ORALE" This little Hole in the wall sit on a small strip in Homestead downtown district. It is a great tourist eatery if you want to sample Mexican food. Very authentic and homemade. Very little cozy place too. But be warn, alcohol is not served, but its welcome if you bring it. And if you forget, you can go to... More
