Best food in Florida City

We had the plantain crusted black grouper and the Asian salmon with bok choy and mashed potatoes. We started with a side salad and finished with almond flan. Everything was delicious! Don't forget to bring a nice bottle of wine.

This is one small restaurant... Not much elbow room but the size works! Very cozy! Food was outstanding! Mongolian pork just amazing! fattoush chicken also great. Very warm attentive staff. As others mentioned byob. This should be listed under Florida city too. We stayed in fl city and just a few mile drive to get there.

This venue came highly recommended by all the locals we spoke with. Be prepared - no alcohol but you can bring your own beer, wine or liquor. If you have never been to this area oet me tell you - life is laid back and super casual so relax and go with it. Menu has many great options, we loved... More

We did not actually eat at the establishment. The hours posted here are incorrect. We arrived at 8:00 on a Saturday, and the restaurant was already closed. Dining room was busy, but door was locked and open sign was turned off. Very disappointed.

This tiny little family owned and run restaurant was a perfect place to have a delicious mouth watering lunch. Beautiful thick buttered garlic bread came complementary to the table. I loved the fun little unique plates. Having gluten issues, I did not eat the bread, but the rest of my party devoured it. The men, both got different specialty hamburgers... More

The couple who own and run Chefs on the Run are two of the most dedicated, hard working and delightful people you would ever want to meet. The food they lovingly explain and prepare is very interesting and very good. There were 6 of us for dinner and we all enjoyed our meals. We wish them much success because they... More

Asked a ranger in Everglades National Park where we could get Cuban or Puertorican food and he suggested Chefs On the Run. Kinda hard to find but we did finally. I had the Tripleta and my co-pilot had the Bahn Mi. Oh my goodness, they were both good. I would have to say it was the best sandwich I have... More

The menu is very interesting and unique. The chef cooks all meals from scratch and you can really tell. The food is delicious and so fresh. My daughter ordered the short ribs, husband ordered the Argentinian style churrasco, and I had the salmon. We were all extremely pleased with our meals. The decor is cute and comfortable as the seating... More

Chefs on the Run is a fabulous independent restaurant in a city full of chain restaurants. The chef and his wife run the place and they do a wonderful job. All the ingredients are fresh and the food is "home made" in the best sense of the word; portions are large but not over the top. All the entrees were... More
