Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The pastries are extremely tasty. Coffee's good, also. Nice part of town. Antique shops all around.

This is a quaint old bakery with lots of charm. We went here just to see what all the buzz was about. It was 3 in the afternoon so we really were not hungry but could not resist sharing one of their huge cinnamon rolls. Really really good! We don't drink specialty coffees but they sure do have a lot... More

This place has it all fresh-baked goods, excellent coffees, Italian gelato, free Internet and atmosphere that makes you want to come back over and over again. There are several pastry cookie selections that puts Starbucks to shame. once you go here it's the only place you want to go ever!!!

And I've been to Denmark, so that's saying something. All of their pastries were delicious and so fresh. Definitely at the top of the list for the next time.

Besides wonderful soups and sandwiches, their bakery items are the very best. People enjoy their excellent coffees and teas while visiting neighbors and old friends! Best cookies in the world.

We needed a pick me up when on our way to Destin and this place did just that. We had 2 coffees with milk - their French roast was excellent. Smooth and strong. In addition, My husband tried apple turnover and kolache and he enjoyed both. We had great service, very nice, friendly and pleasant guy behind the counter. We... More

Their egg and green olive sandwich is great and their chicken salad is excellent! The grilled chicken breast also has bacon on it! Anything with bacon is wonderful! Jake & Mary have done very well. They are very genuine and down to earth but want you to experience something new...You really need to try any location!

If my wife would let me we would always stop, we go down about 3 or 4 times a year, and eat as much as we can and then fill the ice chest to bring back to Austin. If they ever open in Austin Texas we will be there no less than once a month and probably more.

Roas is primarily a bakery. The cakes, cookies and other sweets are really special. It is also a good place to pick up a sandwich or soup for lunch.
