Real pricy for lunch. But I really liked the shrimp gumbo. Others got gumbo and shrimp po boy. It was made of fried shrimp. Delicious. Waiter was nice but disappeared when we needed our check. Restaurant was too cold.

The food is nothing short of fantastic but a bit overpriced. Service was professional yet very friendly and efficient. When the place gets full it's a bit loud as it is pretty much one huge dining room. Bar service is beyond excellent!

I really enjoy eating at this restaurant but not often. My husband feels like the amount of food served to you just do not warrant their prices. Yes, it's pricey to me too but if you don't mind paying the price, you will enjoy some great food. Sometimes music is played on the outside patio area which is enjoyable while... More

Their oyster specials are amazing. It can get a bit packed, so be prepared for a wait. Some find it too expensive, but these are folks who aren't used to paying for decent meals. The servers do the best they can with a packed house, and most orders come out on time and accurately. It's often a good idea to... More

I have never had poor service at Pappadeaux and this visit didn't let me down. Our waiter was prompt and attentive but didn't interrupt us during our meal and conversation. The food was, also as usual, very tasty. I had the Shrimp en Brochette and a fellow traveler had the Chilean Sea Bass. We shared a Pappas Greek Salad for... More

Its a popular place. Crowded at the time we went. The food was good. If you like Cajun its the place to go. I tried the fried gator and it was good. Cheesecake for dessert was a huge slice. They give you large portions of food. The service was good.

We visited Pappadeaux's while in Texas for a few days. The first nite, they were booked so we couldn't get a reservation. By calling very early we did manage to get a reservation the next nite. We shared the Appalachicola oysters on the half shell - very fresh & delicious - as an appetizer w/ glasses of Pinot Grigio. We... More

I stayed in hotel across the street from this restaurant for a week on business. I have eaten at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchens in several cities and I have never had a meal meal at any of them. The food at this location was much better than that at other locations. The calamari was hot, crispy and seasoned to perfection. The... More

We chose Pappadeaux's for dinner because it was conveniently located near our hotel. We had dined at a Pappadeaux's in Albuquerque which was not bad. Almost immediately after being seated, we were served French bread and butter. Our server was quite good, and very helpful when queried about various items on the menu. I was particularly pleased to find soft-shelled... More

The food was good but overpriced even with lunch menu. I ate at the bar as it was crowded. Hot french bread and butter was great though.
