Lunch with a view!

Fantastic views from the HUGE window in the dining room. The meal was quite good and reasonable, too. I had the all you can eat soup and salad bar and it was really good. My friend had the club sandwich and it was huge! The service was friendly, too. I think if you go to the park, you should... read more

We had a nice lunch here between hikes. Nice views from the dining room. Would recommend. Good sandwiches and very nice staff.

Windows look out over Chisos Basin, toward The Window--I'm sure sunset here would be awesome. Food and service were both very good, even though it was somewhat busy.

We do a lot of national park traveling and given the location, this is an excellent restaurant. Choices are a little limited but the food was always very good. We didn't try the steaks (since the cook all red meats to medium well) but the fish (trout and salmon) were very good. The cobblers for desert are also very tasty.... More

This restaurant, the only game in town tends to take advantage of that fact. The food is okay, nothing special, but not bad either. Value, well, if you added the price of gas to drive to another restaurant, the price is reasonable. Breakfast not so good at all. Although they show an a la carte menu, you have forced to... More

My husband and I stayed three days in the lodge and thoroughly enjoyed eating several meals at the restaurant on site. Breakfast included a buffet with various choices. Good eats and coffee to start the day. After jeep tours on the back roads with Angell Expeditions, we had a wide range of dinner options: steak, pork medallions, chicken and seafood.... More

The food was well-prepared. I heard absolutely no complaints from our group of 15. The service was above and beyond. The young man who cared for us was very friendly and efficient. We didn't sit and wait too long, despite the fact the restaurant was full to the brim.

OK considering it is the only act in "town" the Lodge is fine. The food was interesting, in a good way. I had the burrito with elk chili and is was very good and considering how far everything has to be trucked in, the price was more then reasonable. Of course the main attraction is the view thru the big... More

The food was good and a nice variety; which was a good thing since we ate 4 dinners there. Guy, our waiter, all 4 evenings, was great and very attentive. The 3rd night he brought us our drinks before we sat down. Guy made sure that each evening we had a table with a view and what a view it... More
