We had dinner and breakfast at this restaurant and were happy with the food served. One of us in the party preferred vegetarian and there were a couple of good options available. The food was delicious.

We ate at the restaurant each evening after long days of hiking. The wait staff was wonderful and the food good. Had the salad bar one evening, chicken fried steak the next, and a hamburger & nachos the last evening. All very good.

The buffet was cold for breakfast and we were there early when it should have still been warm. In the summer, it is the only restaurant open in the park so we had to eat there.

We were pretty hungry once we got here so we would of eaten anything. Food was actually pretty good, and we ordered 2 shakes to go as well and those were good too. Service was also good, as well as being fast. Pretty awesome views too.

We had breakfast here since we stayed in the Chisos Mountain Lodge Motel. The food was the standard overpriced and heavy buffet-type food. One thing that made our breakfast also particularly distasteful was the fact that they stripping the nearby bar with turpentine while we were eating which produced noxious fumes and gave me a headache. Seriously - wait until... More

We went to Big bend around the 4th of July 2014 and fully expected to have mediocre food. But we were pleasantly surprised at the dinners we ate at the lodge. Among the 3 of us we tried different dishes. They were all great. The following dinners are highly recommended; flat iron stake(medium), chicken fried steak and the taco plate.... More

The lodge dining room offers great views of the mountains, with a patio area for relaxing. We had an opportunity to eat several meals, including the buffet breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, and 3 evening meals. All were great, professional and friendly staff, and well timed meals. Separate bar area with a TV.

The dining room is small but has a great view except as the sun sets in your eyes if you are in the middle or by the windows. Stellar service by an extremely helpful and friendly staff at all meals. Breakfast consists of a limited and slightly expensive buffet. All the usual choices are there and all are pretty good.... More

I did not eat here, just sat down for a coffe. I think this is the best coffe you can get inside the park, well worth it in case you are crawing for a real strong one! :)

Food was pretty good but a bit expensive. It is the only restaurant on the Mountian. The breakfast buffet is also pretty good.
